I was pretty happy with this machine when I received it. Just the right size for me, 2 cups (not 2 measuring cups, but what normal people think of as a cup of coffee). Easy to use. The main issue I have is that it turns itself off before the two hours time frame as advertised. Imagine having a nice cup of coffee, working for a while, looking forward to that second cup. Then, light and hotplate off, remaining coffee cold. I would estimate this happens about 40% of the time. This morning added a new twist, turned off about 1/2 during brew cycle. You have to keep checking on it. Also, it seems the coffee is not really hot right after brew. Have to leave it on the hot play for a few minutes for it to warm up. I would not buy this again. I would opt for a more expensive model with a brew water temperature adjustment. Hopefully a better timer function.

My 6 year oldMr. Coffee was less than an hour which was annoying form the start. This mini has a 5 cup capacity vs. 4 cup. My 4 cup mini now resides in my master bath closet. The carafe has a nice design to it and easy to grasp.The included water filter is included but I do not use it since I already have an inline filtering water system. The delay start feature is easy to use. The buttons are larger than my older version and the setup is more logical to use.Mr. Coffee has been my go to brand for many years and I have not been disappointed since the start. The most recent review is correct about the cleaning method. The instructions even say you should first brew the unit with vinegar before using. Brewed it a few times and this coffee maker has worked like a charm. I’ll set it to brew in the morning and it’s ready when I get up. No grounds or residue just nice clean coffee everytime. I have no problems with the coffee maker (other than a lack of a User Manual that tells me how it all fits together) but it’s not ready for the marketplace. You cannot purchase replacement parts for them as of the end of September 2020, so should I get klutzy and break the carafe, I need a whole new machine. I don’t know why I got scared of the reviews but this coffee maker was everything I wanted it to be. After years of the 4 cup Mr Coffee with the switch, being able to program it the night before makes it possible for me to always leave with a coffee in the morning. I have had no issue with grinds in my pot, I always poor slowly just in case as my old Mr Coffee would occasionally have bad days and over flow. Seems to be common with the brand. Just dont overfill the filter. I use both the reusable and paper ones with little issue.

I hate this thing so much.It’s so devoted to being small, that just the mere process of pouring hot water into its tiny PLASTIC coffee grounds basket necessarily shoves granules over the edge and into the coffee pot and sticks them to the handle… every time. Nothing you can do about it. It also does not have the perfectly normal ‘steal a cup’ feature most coffee pots have, so if you remove the pot before it’s done… that’s it you are pouring boiling coffee on the counter. It’s lame. Choose a different one. Literally, any, different one.

Don’t get me wrong, at first I loved my expensive K cup brewer. But after only 7 months, it went belly up with a howl from the pump. I decided to go back to the old “tried and true” drip type coffee maker that I used at the office years ago. Download the instruction manual on the Mr Coffee website.{Yes, I followed the instructions of the K cup brand to use a paper clip, run the vinegar water (even bought a bottle of their “official” de-scaler – sucker) and used bottled water in it, the unit worked for about 7 months. The “Descale” light went on after 2 months and never went off after that, despite numerous de-scalings and regular maintenance. I’d push the 12 oz button and get any where from 8 to 12 oz of coffee – usually 10oz, depending on it’s demeanor for the day. I usually made 1 or 2 12 oz cups a day.}So Amazon thankfully delivered the Mr Coffee 5oz Coffee Maker w/ the timer/shutoff in one day – on New Years Eve no less! Thanks!I ran water thru it, a vinegar run, and then more water thru it. They do recommend NOT putting cold water in a hot carafe, so be careful. I assume it ‘s not a pyrex quality glass. The plastic lid, housing, and some internals do seem to be sort of thin and slightly flexible plastic – not heavy duty stuff. It reminded me of the makers you would find in a hotel, so I was wary. But I am sure it should last more than 7 months for 1+ cup a day!I prefer to use the paper filters (available here on Amazon), for less particulate in the carafe. But it does have a “permanent” grounds holder/filter included. It also had a water filter before the grounds if you so desire. I won’t use tap water in it, so this filter may have negligible effect for me. It’s a tiny, baby filter version of the one in the 12 cup maker.I cut open a K cup (I had just ordered a case, I like the Amazon Solimo brands – French Roast) and put it in the paper filter, and poured approx. 12 oz of water into the maker. It took less than 5 minutes to brew (Yes folks, not as fast as the K cup brewer. But it will give me time to take the dog out and then come back for a cup of coffee!). I removed the paper filter with spent grounds after it finished brewing and got just under 12 oz of coffee.The coffee tasted slightly stronger than when using the K cup brewer.I like this model because of the auto shut off and you can set a brew time also. A manual model is also available at less cost.So, it works well and coffee tasted slightly stronger than the K cup brewer – based on a K cup serving (of course, you can vary the amount of water and grounds to your own taste). This Mr. Coffee model cost about one third of the cost of my deceased fancy K cup brewer. It does take longer to brew than the K cup brewer, so people in morning hyper drive, plan accordingly.If this lasts longer than 7 months, I’ll be way ahead of the game!UPDATE after a few uses:Okay, a MAJOR clarification: Evidently the Chinese mfr thinks 1 cup is only 5 oz! I always thought it was 8 oz – silly me. Also, most standard coffee cups are 12oz.SO, IF YOU LOAD UP 5 TABLESPOONS OF GROUNDS (for 5 cups), IT WILL OVERFLOW THE GROUNDS BASKET!!! The carafe is approx 25 oz or roughly 2+ 12 oz cups. Do the math.I’m using up my K cups and only use two (2) K cups for approx 24 oz of water. I am using the small paper filters (found on Amazon, inexpensive) and cold water. The grounds rise just below the edge of the paper filter, BUT NO OVERFLOW. I haven’t used the “permanent” filter basket as I always have found they let the coffee “dust” thru into the carafe.So, this is actually a 2+ cup coffee maker – still fine by me though.One other thing noticed, the auto shut off is less than 2 hours also. I can live with that, as long as it does the auto shut off.

i am a solo coffee drinker in my house, who was tired of the giant 12cup coffee pot eating up all my good coffee grounds. my old machine was bulky, inconsistent, and after purchasing this one i learned my old one was not getting up to temperature…..this coffee pot has saved my household from the grumpiness of non caffeinated me.you need to be careful not to overfill with grind or water! it will leak grinds if you overfill it! however if you just want a couple cups of coffee, or to share one with someone its a great pot. its small and takes up so little room, i can even store it with my dishes when i need the extra counter top space. the filter is nice, but i use bottled water to prevent hard water build up in the tubes.honestly after using this for a while now the only thing i would change is i wish it hard a heavy or light brewing setting but i can see how that would be difficult in a smaller kettle like this one.as far as complaints ive seen…it did once or twice shut of prematurely like during brew or never started the brew… but since i moved it to a more reliable outlet i have not had said issues.other than we joke about the coffee fairy now…. you do get a full brew. yes it might fall below the 5cup line by as much as 1/2cup? but i contribute that to a few things: loss during heat up and steam, and the water that is displaced in the grounds…. so the loss of water in brewing is very reasonable…. unless you believe the coffee fairy stole it.it does not overfill IF YOU FILL IT CORRECTLY 5 cups means 5 cups, 5 scoops of coffee no more!i do occasionally get grounds in my coffee…. but having worked in coffee, and managed a basic coffee pot for the better part of half my life, it kinda just happens. clean your baskets each time and it wont happen as much.again LOVE this coffee pot. would highly recommend

Okay, so I live full time in an RV and saving space, or being optimal with your choices, is always an issue. Along the way, optimal water usage and trash disposal and solar power usage become issues as well; it all links together; it’s all inseparable.So I tried out this little coffee maker to see how many of the boxes it ticked. So far, it seems like a homerun. The only drawback, something to keep an eye on for the future, is how long the glass carafe lasts. RVers try to stay away from easy breakables. But there’s no way to gauge this eventuality if and until it one days gives up the ghost. But again, so far so good.One thing I must say however – it’s small. Tiny, even. It’s the smallest coffee machine I’ve ever owned. So don’t even try with the whole ‘how much do I fill it up, I can’t see the fill lines’ nonsense. Just fill the carafe all the way up, and pour it in. It’s not a lot of coffee, just 2 medium sized cups worth; you’re going to drink it.Anyway, I do recommend this product.

So I bought a 12 cup ($17.98 also oddly) and both filters which came to nearly $30. This Mr Coffee 5-cup is much better than the Mr Coffee 4-cup which I used for a few years. I have gauged coffee amount as two tablespoons coffee/6 ounces of water which would be 24 ounces of water for four 6-oz cups in a coffee brewer. The older 4-cup did not measure 24 ounces and I had to add a little more water after some water had gone through the coffee basket. I needed to interrupt coffee drip to pour some of the coffee into my cup so carafe would not flood over. Additionally, I had to stop water dripping into coffee grounds because water did not filter through fast enough and coffee ground would spill over the basket.This Mr Coffee 5-cup solved almost all the above problems. The coffee basket looks to be the same size as the one in the 4-cup coffee maker so it’s small and would cause grounds to flood over the basket into the carafe. Video shows one only needs to measure five tablespoons of coffee into the basket and that’s not enough even for five 5-oz cups. I have now started using the paper filter and it has solved that problem. I use eight tablespoons of coffee for four 6-oz cups (24oz) and notice the water and grounds seem to rise to the upper edge of the paper filter but does not overflow.The water reservoir holds slightly more than 25oz when filled to the overflow hole at top of the reservoir. It is necessary to add slightly more than 25oz (for five 5-oz cups) because the paper filter absorbs some of the water and the net result would be less than 25oz of brewed coffee in the carafe. Adding slightly more than 25oz (26oz) satisfactorily results in just barely 25oz of brewed coffee. Happily for me, that results in four 6-oz cups of brewed delicious coffee. (4x two tablespoons coffee/6oz of water = 24oz brewed coffee.)Mr Coffee (5-cup) is the best coffee maker I’ve found. No overflowed coffee grounds or water. Make two 12-oz coffee mugs of delicious coffee. Thank you, Mr Coffee!

I was pretty happy with this machine when I received it. Just the right size for me, 2 cups (not 2 measuring cups, but what normal people think of as a cup of coffee). Easy to use. The main issue I have is that it turns itself off before the two hours time frame as advertised. Imagine having a nice cup of coffee, working for a while, looking forward to that second cup. Then, light and hotplate off, remaining coffee cold. I would estimate this happens about 40% of the time. This morning added a new twist, turned off about 1/2 during brew cycle. You have to keep checking on it. Also, it seems the coffee is not really hot right after brew. Have to leave it on the hot play for a few minutes for it to warm up. I would not buy this again. I would opt for a more expensive model with a brew water temperature adjustment. Hopefully a better timer function.

It is perfect for 2.The filter is just perfect and super easy to clean.The only thing to watch out for is the overfill hole on the top where you fill the water.If you put for 5 cups, it comes close to it so if you move it while it is still full you need to be careful.

If you don’t, then don’t blame the coffeemaker, blame the coffee MAKER. I like to make iced coffee so I had to play chemist trying to get the proper water to coffee ratio but once I did this little gem makes as good a cup of coffee as I’ve had in bigger more expensive products. Added plus is it’s programmable and has its own replaceable permanent filter so no papers needed, and takes up very little space on my small countertop. I highly recommend.

After years of the 4 cup Mr Coffee with the switch, being able to program it the night before makes it possible for me to always leave with a coffee in the morning. I have had no issue with grinds in my pot, I always poor slowly just in case as my old Mr Coffee would occasionally have bad days and over flow. Seems to be common with the brand. Just dont overfill the filter. I use both the reusable and paper ones with little issue.

Don’t get me wrong, at first I loved my expensive K cup brewer. But after only 7 months, it went belly up with a howl from the pump. I decided to go back to the old “tried and true” drip type coffee maker that I used at the office years ago. Download the instruction manual on the Mr Coffee website.{Yes, I followed the instructions of the K cup brand to use a paper clip, run the vinegar water (even bought a bottle of their “official” de-scaler – sucker) and used bottled water in it, the unit worked for about 7 months. The “Descale” light went on after 2 months and never went off after that, despite numerous de-scalings and regular maintenance. I’d push the 12 oz button and get any where from 8 to 12 oz of coffee – usually 10oz, depending on it’s demeanor for the day. I usually made 1 or 2 12 oz cups a day.}So Amazon thankfully delivered the Mr Coffee 5oz Coffee Maker w/ the timer/shutoff in one day – on New Years Eve no less! Thanks!I ran water thru it, a vinegar run, and then more water thru it. They do recommend NOT putting cold water in a hot carafe, so be careful. I assume it ‘s not a pyrex quality glass. The plastic lid, housing, and some internals do seem to be sort of thin and slightly flexible plastic – not heavy duty stuff. It reminded me of the makers you would find in a hotel, so I was wary. But I am sure it should last more than 7 months for 1+ cup a day!I prefer to use the paper filters (available here on Amazon), for less particulate in the carafe. But it does have a “permanent” grounds holder/filter included. It also had a water filter before the grounds if you so desire. I won’t use tap water in it, so this filter may have negligible effect for me. It’s a tiny, baby filter version of the one in the 12 cup maker.I cut open a K cup (I had just ordered a case, I like the Amazon Solimo brands – French Roast) and put it in the paper filter, and poured approx. 12 oz of water into the maker. It took less than 5 minutes to brew (Yes folks, not as fast as the K cup brewer. But it will give me time to take the dog out and then come back for a cup of coffee!). I removed the paper filter with spent grounds after it finished brewing and got just under 12 oz of coffee.The coffee tasted slightly stronger than when using the K cup brewer.I like this model because of the auto shut off and you can set a brew time also. A manual model is also available at less cost.So, it works well and coffee tasted slightly stronger than the K cup brewer – based on a K cup serving (of course, you can vary the amount of water and grounds to your own taste). This Mr. Coffee model cost about one third of the cost of my deceased fancy K cup brewer. It does take longer to brew than the K cup brewer, so people in morning hyper drive, plan accordingly.If this lasts longer than 7 months, I’ll be way ahead of the game!UPDATE after a few uses:Okay, a MAJOR clarification: Evidently the Chinese mfr thinks 1 cup is only 5 oz! I always thought it was 8 oz – silly me. Also, most standard coffee cups are 12oz.SO, IF YOU LOAD UP 5 TABLESPOONS OF GROUNDS (for 5 cups), IT WILL OVERFLOW THE GROUNDS BASKET!!! The carafe is approx 25 oz or roughly 2+ 12 oz cups. Do the math.I’m using up my K cups and only use two (2) K cups for approx 24 oz of water. I am using the small paper filters (found on Amazon, inexpensive) and cold water. The grounds rise just below the edge of the paper filter, BUT NO OVERFLOW. I haven’t used the “permanent” filter basket as I always have found they let the coffee “dust” thru into the carafe.So, this is actually a 2+ cup coffee maker – still fine by me though.One other thing noticed, the auto shut off is less than 2 hours also. I can live with that, as long as it does the auto shut off.

i am a solo coffee drinker in my house, who was tired of the giant 12cup coffee pot eating up all my good coffee grounds. my old machine was bulky, inconsistent, and after purchasing this one i learned my old one was not getting up to temperature…..this coffee pot has saved my household from the grumpiness of non caffeinated me.you need to be careful not to overfill with grind or water! it will leak grinds if you overfill it! however if you just want a couple cups of coffee, or to share one with someone its a great pot. its small and takes up so little room, i can even store it with my dishes when i need the extra counter top space. the filter is nice, but i use bottled water to prevent hard water build up in the tubes.honestly after using this for a while now the only thing i would change is i wish it hard a heavy or light brewing setting but i can see how that would be difficult in a smaller kettle like this one.as far as complaints ive seen…it did once or twice shut of prematurely like during brew or never started the brew… but since i moved it to a more reliable outlet i have not had said issues.other than we joke about the coffee fairy now…. you do get a full brew. yes it might fall below the 5cup line by as much as 1/2cup? but i contribute that to a few things: loss during heat up and steam, and the water that is displaced in the grounds…. so the loss of water in brewing is very reasonable…. unless you believe the coffee fairy stole it.it does not overfill IF YOU FILL IT CORRECTLY 5 cups means 5 cups, 5 scoops of coffee no more!i do occasionally get grounds in my coffee…. but having worked in coffee, and managed a basic coffee pot for the better part of half my life, it kinda just happens. clean your baskets each time and it wont happen as much.again LOVE this coffee pot. would highly recommend

I hate this thing so much.It’s so devoted to being small, that just the mere process of pouring hot water into its tiny PLASTIC coffee grounds basket necessarily shoves granules over the edge and into the coffee pot and sticks them to the handle… every time. Nothing you can do about it. It also does not have the perfectly normal ‘steal a cup’ feature most coffee pots have, so if you remove the pot before it’s done… that’s it you are pouring boiling coffee on the counter. It’s lame. Choose a different one. Literally, any, different one.

So this cute little coffee maker works fine, but the small replacement water filter disc are NOT available. All of the discs available are about 3 inches diameter; the one that comes with the machine is about 2 inches only. Kind of stupid to provide a filter that is supposed to be replaced monthly and not sell replacements! You can buy the whole assembly + frame for Mr Coffee to get a new disc but that will set you back about $6, not very cost effective. But fear not! You can use the standard “Fits All Mr Coffee Brewers” discs since the diameter of the frame for the small disc is roughly the same diameter as the whole standard replacement disc. Just pop the big disc in where the frame goes and discard the black frame. It doesn’t snap in or anything, just sits there loose but it really can’t go anywhere. And the big 3ish inch discs are readily available and cheap. Or don’t use a disc at all you’d also be fine!

I have no problems with the coffee maker (other than a lack of a User Manual that tells me how it all fits together) but it’s not ready for the marketplace. You cannot purchase replacement parts for them as of the end of September 2020, so should I get klutzy and break the carafe, I need a whole new machine. Same for the brew basket or the cute little swing-away water system…The manufacturer’s website labels these as a new product. Okay, but we need to be able to find replacement parts before these get rushed to market.It has all the minor shortcomings of every Mr. Coffee coffee-maker I’ve ever owned, but I’m used to them and they don’t bother me. I had an older model which I loved but I accidentally dropped the carafe and it broke. I couldn’t find a replacement, so had to order a new one or pay twice as much for the original one. Anywho, I purchased this one which basically had all of the same basic features. I have a couple of issues though. I do not care for the lid opening on the side, instead of front to back, but this is just a preference thing. If you pour with your left hand though, it will be pretty inconvenient for you because it opens right to left. The second thing is that regardless of the order that I take the used coffee grounds out (I use my own filters) and pour the water into the pot, water always drips onto the burner from the dispenser part. I never had this issue with the old one but it’s annoying that I have to wipe it off every time before I use it again. It might seem small but I’m trying to avoid starting a new pot with water sizzling while it’s brewing. The last thing is that, while I didn’t think I’d mind, the piece that dispurses the water onto the coffee grounds needs to be moved back and forth when removing the grounds. My old one was built into the lid. I wouldn’t care so much but I still am using the rest of my old filters which are too tall, even though the number of cups/size of pot is the same as the old one. These may all seem small, but I think worth noting for those considering the purchase.

So this cute little coffee maker works fine, but the small replacement water filter disc are NOT available. All of the discs available are about 3 inches diameter; the one that comes with the machine is about 2 inches only. Kind of stupid to provide a filter that is supposed to be replaced monthly and not sell replacements! You can buy the whole assembly + frame for Mr Coffee to get a new disc but that will set you back about $6, not very cost effective. But fear not! You can use the standard “Fits All Mr Coffee Brewers” discs since the diameter of the frame for the small disc is roughly the same diameter as the whole standard replacement disc. Just pop the big disc in where the frame goes and discard the black frame. It doesn’t snap in or anything, just sits there loose but it really can’t go anywhere. And the big 3ish inch discs are readily available and cheap. Or don’t use a disc at all you’d also be fine!

The basket and filter overflow, and you get grinds in your coffee. Unless you enjoy super weak coffee, this isn’t the coffee maker for you, because you’ll always get grinds in your coffee. I suppose a solution to this would be to simply make 2 cups at a time, but with an already small coffee pot, is that really what you want to resort to? Also, the basket overflows with liquid, so when you remove the pot after a brew has completed, it will spill onto the hot plate.

The filter is very fine, and is probably clogged up from whatever coating is on it from manufacturing. So, I can only speculate, those who say it kept spilling all over the counter didn’t clean it properly before use. This coffee maker has been a life saver for travel. It’s small enough to fit into my suitcase and makes just enough coffee that I need before I start my journey to a long arduous day of work. Bonus that it’s programmable and I have hot coffee ready when I wake up. And the included water filter works great at getting the nasty taste out of whatever tap water I put in the thing. Definitely 5 stars!!

I have done the French Press and the Pour Over but I needed something ready when I get up. I have read reviews of broken buttons and issues with filters so I have been extra careful. I am using paper filters and the water filter, I think that top water filter keeps the paper filter in place. It’s a decent quality 5-cup maker with some more advanced features which was exactly what I was looking for. Only a couple of things I thought could be improved. The top opens to the side and will almost always result in a half teaspoon or so of condensation water pouring down the side. Some will get on the hot plate and some on the counter. I found that if you open it part way to collect most of the water and then close it back before opening all the way, the bulk will end up in the basket. Issue 2 is that if you like strong coffee, you will likely need to limit yourself to 4-cups of water or else the strength of the brewing water spray will likely overflow grounds outside the filter.

Okay, so I live full time in an RV and saving space, or being optimal with your choices, is always an issue. Along the way, optimal water usage and trash disposal and solar power usage become issues as well; it all links together; it’s all inseparable.So I tried out this little coffee maker to see how many of the boxes it ticked. So far, it seems like a homerun. The only drawback, something to keep an eye on for the future, is how long the glass carafe lasts. RVers try to stay away from easy breakables. But there’s no way to gauge this eventuality if and until it one days gives up the ghost. But again, so far so good.One thing I must say however – it’s small. Tiny, even. It’s the smallest coffee machine I’ve ever owned. So don’t even try with the whole ‘how much do I fill it up, I can’t see the fill lines’ nonsense. Just fill the carafe all the way up, and pour it in. It’s not a lot of coffee, just 2 medium sized cups worth; you’re going to drink it.Anyway, I do recommend this product.

This replaces my 6 year old 4 cup mini Mr. Coffee maker which is still working flawlessly. This updated mini has a two hour keep warm setting. My 6 year oldMr. Coffee was less than an hour which was annoying form the start. This mini has a 5 cup capacity vs. 4 cup. My 4 cup mini now resides in my master bath closet. The carafe has a nice design to it and easy to grasp.The included water filter is included but I do not use it since I already have an inline filtering water system. The delay start feature is easy to use. The buttons are larger than my older version and the setup is more logical to use.Mr. Coffee has been my go to brand for many years and I have not been disappointed since the start. I saw what looked like the identical item on walmart.com for $17.98. So I returned this to kohl’s. Minutes later I was in walmart and discovered this particular item was slightly different. It didn’t come with the chlorine filter or the mesh filter. Gimmicks to some I appreciated them so I saw walmart sold both but not for a 5 cup maker. So I bought a 12 cup ($17.98 also oddly) and both filters which came to nearly $30. So for the same price roughly a put myself through a minor headache PLUS my maker lacks one of the first selling points of TV is item: compactness.

The most recent review is correct about the cleaning method. The instructions even say you should first brew the unit with vinegar before using. Brewed it a few times and this coffee maker has worked like a charm. I’ll set it to brew in the morning and it’s ready when I get up. No grounds or residue just nice clean coffee everytime. The size is perfect for my apartment too. After use just clean the filter and it’s good to go later!

This Mr Coffee 5-cup is much better than the Mr Coffee 4-cup which I used for a few years. I have gauged coffee amount as two tablespoons coffee/6 ounces of water which would be 24 ounces of water for four 6-oz cups in a coffee brewer. The older 4-cup did not measure 24 ounces and I had to add a little more water after some water had gone through the coffee basket. I needed to interrupt coffee drip to pour some of the coffee into my cup so carafe would not flood over. Additionally, I had to stop water dripping into coffee grounds because water did not filter through fast enough and coffee ground would spill over the basket.This Mr Coffee 5-cup solved almost all the above problems. The coffee basket looks to be the same size as the one in the 4-cup coffee maker so it’s small and would cause grounds to flood over the basket into the carafe. Video shows one only needs to measure five tablespoons of coffee into the basket and that’s not enough even for five 5-oz cups. I have now started using the paper filter and it has solved that problem. I use eight tablespoons of coffee for four 6-oz cups (24oz) and notice the water and grounds seem to rise to the upper edge of the paper filter but does not overflow.The water reservoir holds slightly more than 25oz when filled to the overflow hole at top of the reservoir. It is necessary to add slightly more than 25oz (for five 5-oz cups) because the paper filter absorbs some of the water and the net result would be less than 25oz of brewed coffee in the carafe. Adding slightly more than 25oz (26oz) satisfactorily results in just barely 25oz of brewed coffee. Happily for me, that results in four 6-oz cups of brewed delicious coffee. (4x two tablespoons coffee/6oz of water = 24oz brewed coffee.)Mr Coffee (5-cup) is the best coffee maker I’ve found. No overflowed coffee grounds or water. Make two 12-oz coffee mugs of delicious coffee. Thank you, Mr Coffee!

The basket and filter overflow, and you get grinds in your coffee. Unless you enjoy super weak coffee, this isn’t the coffee maker for you, because you’ll always get grinds in your coffee. I suppose a solution to this would be to simply make 2 cups at a time, but with an already small coffee pot, is that really what you want to resort to? Also, the basket overflows with liquid, so when you remove the pot after a brew has completed, it will spill onto the hot plate.

It has been since the ’80s that I have been trying to find a 5 cup coffee machine that would brew a good cup of coffee on a consistent basis. I am more than pleased that, after 9 coffee machines, I have found one that brews a great cup of coffee.

Simple. Just what you need. Enjoy the timer feature cause early mornings are hard! Occasionally run ACV through it and then water just to clean it. No problems. Easy pot for a no-fuss person.

I am very much please with this product. It is small, convenient, easy to use and clean. I’ve yet to use the reusable filter basket and probably won’t after reviewing the issues with coffee grounds overflowing from it. This does not happen with disposable filters. The water filter works well and is good to have. This coffee maker is great for single or couple cups. In fact as my first drip coffee maker I love it.

I’ve had this coffee maker for a couple of months. It works perfectly. Some of the reviews say that it drips, doesn’t fit… I think it’s user error. (I’m probably wrong) Some say the taste is bad, even though they ran water thru a couple of times. Don’t use water, USE VINEGAR and then run water thru it a few times.The first time I used it … the flavor was soooo good, I was in coffee heaven.

I highly recommend this coffee maker. It makes about two cups of coffee. Be careful hand washing the pot. It’s easy to break it. Other than that, a solid 5-stars!
