I LOVE this blender! It works so so well for all my needs. I make a lot of smoothies with frozen fruit, ginger, etc and it makes it so smooth! There is no big mess to clean up, the base stays clean no matter what. I really only need to wash the blending top with water after use and it all seals very well. Probably best purchase I’ve made in 2020! I’m not sure how they would take away the noise level. It’s super loud in my small house but I don’t care haha.

It is not as loud as some portray, but I can see that if you have someone sleeping in the next room or something, it may present a problem. Other than that this is a great fit for most.

There have been a number of reviews complaining about the noise and the leaking. The noise level doesn’t even come close to my VitaMix. Every time I run that I wish I had one of those noise enclosures they use on QVC. Of course, I haven’t run it with ice cubes in the container yet. I just use frozen fruit.As far as the leaking … first time I used it, yes there was some very minor leaking. It took about 5 minutes using a table knife and a dish cloth to clean out the nooks and crannies. I gave it a lot of thought and when I just now made my 2nd smoothie I held the container down with the palm of my hand while the blender ran. No drips. No drops. I didn’t even press that hard, just enough to keep the base from jiggling around while it ran.As for the results … YUM. Everything blended up smooth and creamy (I used the Ultra button). This 2nd time I added a couple handfuls of nut/seed mix, some protein powder, and my frozen fruit. Everything is completely pureed. In one minute. this is well worth the money!

I highly recommend this product; I purchased it after another brand conked out, and it is FAR superior to what I had before. There are two settings (one from frozen smoothies, and one for fresh), plus a pulse and a start/stop button. I’ve used all the functions successfully, and the Ninja does an EXCELLENT job of blending frozen fruit. I’ve also used it to make bread crumbs and chop nuts (also works for that).The blades, cups, and lids seem sturdy and well-constructed, and I like how you have to have the cup properly seated before you can start the blender–seems less likely to wear down the contacts that way. I’ve only had this product for a month, so I’ll have to comment on longevity later, but so far, I’m super-satisfied. Also, I’m not sure why people are complaining about the noise because this isn’t any louder than the personal blender I had before–I mean, it’s a blender, It’s not a quiet device. So far, so good, and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I had a Bullet and it stopped working less then a year but I did use it everyday and loved it. I decided to try this Ninja instead of replacing with a Bullet due to the short life span. I love the Ninja. Seems to be more powerful , easy to clean and does a wonderful job of making smoothie , soups and sauces. I only gave it a three star on durability because I just received the product so Ill have to see how long it last. Such an excellent price also.

This blender is built great, works amazing and is compact enough for me to leave it on the counter. There are three family members that make smoothie/protein shakes every day and this machine works perfectly. The only thing I wish they would improve would be the noise it makes. It is very loud but I would imagine that would be tough to lower with how powerful the motor is but I’m not a expert in that area. Still, it’s a small thing to deal with (IMO) as it only takes at most 15-45 seconds to blend depending on your ingredients. Would highly recommend! Hope this helps! :)Update: 5 Months and it just stopped working. Haven’t even used it that much and I went to make a smoothie today and it lights up and timer works as if it’s blending but the motor never turns on. I have never had this happen with a kitchen appliance. I would avoid this brand as I am. First and last Ninja product. We’ll see how they are about the warranty. Currently on indefinite hold with their customer service. :(Update: Warranty is a JOKE! They will replace it for $20 shipping?! Why do I have to pay another $20 for an item that is only going to work for 5 months? And, why do you not just replace it for all of the hassle? This thing probably cost them less then $20 to make. I don’t get it and I will never buy Ninja again. I not only have a useless blender but I bought extra cups for it so my investment is well over $100. Unfortunately Amazon won’t do anything because it’s past 30 days. I would much rather take my $20 and invest it in a product that’s reliable and not have to go through this whole ordeal again. Sorry for the rant but I thought it would be worth while for others to hear about my experience.

I make smoothies every morning, i have the big Ninja blinder. I got tired of over making, having so much to wash and deal with in the mornings so i bought this! AND I LOVE IT! It has two cups so me and hubby have one, with lids. Its perfect for us too because after he used it, all he has to do is wash the blade top and hes done! No having to find a cup, wash the whole thing out (we make diff flavor smoothies). Then for my self, its as simple as putting stuff in the cup, then blending and off to work. Very quick, and it blends great.Only down side— the sound. Off all blenders I’ve had so far, it is the loudest! And I mean crazy loud. But you don’t buy a blender for the sound so.

Love this blender. My husband and I make protein shakes every morning after our workouts and this has been the easiest to clean and use. We had the regular ninja blender before this one so knew the brand was a powerful and reliable one. It was just a pain to clean. This one comes with two cup sizes and we are able to make his/hers shakes without the previous clean-up effort. The shake overflowed once for me, but it was my error as I filled up the cup beyond the max line. Learned from that and hasn’t spilled since. It has a lot of power so it’s loud, but that doesn’t bother me. We also like the automatic buttons as the other models don’t have it. Once done, you put on the lid and it’s good to go!

I purchased this blender to use when away from home with the expectation that it would make smoothies that were similar to those that I make with a full-sized Ninja blender. Boy was I wrong. The consistency from this blender is much finer and the taste is much richer than with the full sized Ninja.It is a bit noisy. And the suction cups on the bottom of the blender are a pain. But the full-sized Ninja is going into storage and this baby will be my daily go-to for smoothies.

I consider myself a bit of a smoothie blender connoisseur. I have been consuming smoothies for breakfast for nearly a decade (one healthy habit I have actually stuck to). In that time, I have purchased 1 regular old-school blender, 3 nutri-bullets, 2 aicook blenders and now my first ninja.The old-school blender didn’t break things down to smoothie consistency so there were still chunks of kale or fruit and I would end up chewing more of my smoothie than drinking it. The nutribullet did a great job of blending but eventually that rubber ring would pop out, the cup would leak and smoothie everywhere…so I went through 3 of those. Last year I bought the aicook that is very similar to the nutribullet. I went through two of these pretty quickly. It blends well but the cup leaks and the motor on my second one wouldn’t turn off. Enter Ninja.Upon unpacking this thing, I was a little disappointed because it takes up a little more counter space than my previous products. The cups don’t have the treads on the outside like the nutribullet and aicook and I think this is a benefit…less leakage and less to clean. The blender is powerful. The first time I used it there were still a few chunks of kale that I had to chew, the second time I used the ultra blend button and problem solved. The device seems to be well made and works as intended. If anything changes I will update this review. I would recommend this product for smoothies.

The blender works fine as described. But the blending ability is not worth 80 bucks–it makes a smoothie with a push of a button. After a very annoying few minutes, your smoothie is ready. I’ve seen cheaper blenders that also make a smoothie with a push of a button just fine. There are a few annoying quirks with this blender–you put your stuff in upside down so protein powder tends to stick on the top even if you put in the liquid first. And cleaning the top of this is a bit tricky. But it’s all doable. The major drawback is a dealbreaker–the noise level.The decibel level of this blender is 92 measured by me and CDC’s free NOISH ap. If you have kids this is well above the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended noise level as well as above the OSHA noise level recommendation–and I measured it from my face standing near the kitchen counter–my 8-year-old son has a face is closer to the blender when we made a smoothie together. So kids need to be out of the room. And for adults, this WILL damage your sensitive auditory hair cells. I’ll save my noise damage for a few more concerts before I die and get rid of this blender. If you use it twice a day I reckon you’ll have tinnitis (ringing in your ears) from hair cell death before you are 55. I’m a physician so this is an expert opinion and not data from a randomized trial.Sadly we needed a blender for the last month and have passed the amazon return period. They only gave a month window to return this which is s sucky new amazon policy. We’ll find a way to pass this on to someone without kids who doesn’t mind some ear damage.

I started off with a Nutribullet. It blew a gasket on the first use. I ordered a replacement unit and this time the gasket lasted till the second go-round. That did it and I switched to the Ninja BL480D. So far, I’m glad I did. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It makes great drinks and cleans up easily. I’ll post an update if I have issues.

Yup…short and simple the old Ninja I had maxed out (as far as my research could provide me anyway) at the 16oz mini cups.As many of you have experienced, the nightmare of trying to make a breakfast smoothie and it blowing out of the lid everywhere because the tiny 16oz cup was over-filled (not hard to do).This blender comes with an 18oz and a 24oz (24oz is the way to go) and has all the blending power of my other unit. This is a 5/5 unit so long as it lasts.

1st, Ninja is a deceptive name, this thing should come with earplugs. However all that noise comes from what i can only assume is a micro sized top fuel dragster running my blender because holy torque Batman! The suction cups on the bottom seem silly till you turn it on for the first time. You’d swear it wants to start doing doughnuts on the counter top only to be held on by the bravest suction cups i have ever encountered.. puns aside. This thing is a blending BEAST! It liquefies anything that gets sacrificed up to its merciless blades. If your sick of chunky shakes or bits of ice that nearly chip your teeth worry no more. Put the cup on and dive for cover because it sounds like war just erupted in that cup that i now know why is so thick. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are bullet proof. Can you handle this much power?

I been using a 600 watt Nutribullet for while to make my protein shakes. My shakes consist of protein powder, blueberries, strawberries, spinach, orange, ice, and water. The Nutribullet struggles to chop through the ice and it also leaves the fluid too “chunky”. As it struggles, you can also smell something burning in the motor. I also had oil leak out of the top grinding piece and that was it for me.I figured that with a 1000 watt Ninja, it had to work better so I pulled the trigger on it. The Ninja is significantly more powerful than the Nutribullet! It pulverizes everything into a nice, consistently smooth fluid. I also like the setting options as the “blend” button starts and stops the blending action automatically during a 45 second cycle, allowing the fluids to make their way back down to the grinding blades ensuring all the elements are fully blended. I highly recommend this blender!

Ive been reading reviews for weeks on various personal blenders, but when amazon fresh had a sale on the Auto IQ, I went for it. An hour and a half later, I had it. I’m not a good cook by any definition, but everything I’ve made has come out amazing so far. I bought some frozen mixed berries, frozen strawberries, blueberries, greek yogurt, bananas, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. I don’t use them all each time, I just throw in what I’m feeling. I try not to go over the max line, but it doesn’t even feel close to leaking. Sure, maybe it’s a bit loud, but not as loud as my parents nutribullet. I’ve had this for about a week now, and I’ve used it at least twice a day so far, with no sign of slowing down.This thing is awesome! It’s easy to clean, and I literally can’t find anything to nit-pick (except maybe the noise, but I knew what to expect).HIGHLY recommend!

The rubber from the bottom basically melted due to a burning from the friction.I bought a ninja as I was told this is the better brand and high quality. I read a lot of reviews before this purchase and am glad i chose this product. The entire unit is sturdy as my other ninja appliances. The power is great! Im blending smoothies that have frozen fruits, ice andmseeds as well as fresh fruits and veggies. I start off with a couple pulses, then just hit start until finished. I dont use the auto blend, but it is a neat feature, my smoothies just dont need that minute of blending…it works that well. I have had no leaking issues at lids or blade attachment and I push the fill limit. There have been reviews on the rubber gasket or seal being moldy. It comes out easily, cleans easily and goes right back in just fine. Don’t put it all back together wet, and clean it well, that’s it. The lids are nice and sturdy with good size sip opening, also good for large reusable straws. The plastic body cup seems durable. I read complaints that it’s loud….It’s a blender. It’s loud. It’s powerful and takes all of 30 seconds, maybe, to have your smoothie ready. Just buy this one, you’ll be happy.

Love this blender! We use bigger ice cubes and this blender breaks through them so easily for our shakes! Only downfall is sometimes the ice sticks together before I blend and the blade can’t break through it to screw tight. This is absolutely perfect. It does not take up a ton of counter space. It’s no more loud than any other blender. It has zero issues with ice. It’s super easy and fast to use. Game changer. I had the full sized Ninja blender before and was not impressed because it was too big and I constantly fought with the lid’s locking mechanism. I got this to replace my 12 year old magic bullet blender. I didn’t realize how bad my old blender was until I got this baby. I just used it to make hummus and it turned out so creamy and perfect! I also make my own seitan and use this blender to grind it up like ground beef for tacos. It grinds up a large chunk of seitan perfectly in seconds. I haven’t tried a smoothie yet, that’s next on my list.The device is larger than I thought it would be but it ended up being just right for me. The 2 cups included are a great size. I’ve only needed the smaller cup so far. Lots of people complain about how loud it is, and it is loud. But no louder than any other blender I’ve used in the past.

I’ve owned several different models of Ninjas and Nutribullets. This is comparable to the Nutribullet RX–which costs more–but better in that it doesn’t leak and it is easier to clean, while having the same auto-blend and shutoff capability. Pricewise, it is the same as the Nutribullet Pro, which in my opinion, sucks–it is far noisier, and the push tab system is flawed (customer service for Nutribullet is useless on this) and will get stuck 75% of the time so either it doesn’t blend or it won’t stop blending. Go with the Nutri Ninja instead.If you use the Nutri Ninja mainly for blending smoothies and extracting/juicing, this is a good buy.

I like to make quick smoothies out of frozen fruit/veggies, and I like to make oat flour by blending old-fashioned rolled oats. This puppy does that for me in no time flat! I like the auto technology, too. I just set it and forget it (ya know, for the whole 60 seconds that it might take to finish the job). I haven’t had any issues with it, it’s super easy to clean compared to the other full-size blender I have, and it’s convenient to just take the cup and go.My only gripe is that, especially with frozen fruit, it’s very LOUD. It BLENDS REALLY WELL. I have a problem with getting the covers on. It always seem to cross thread and I’ll have to spend time getting it right. Other than that I can’t see myself without it. It’s noisy but it’s only for a minute or two. If nothing gets in it it’s an easy clean however if you have spillage then it will require q-tips and the likes. I love it anyway

This is my second Nutri Ninja Auto IQ. I purchased my first one over 7 years ago. It worked every day. It ground up ice to make my shake every day. I was extremely happy with it, and it lasted, by today’s standards, a really long time. I am just as happy with the new one. It is much quieter and like the first one, super simple to use. Fill it, screw-on the lid, and put it in the machine, press the button. 60 seconds, and done. I grind chia seeds and flaxseed into a powder in less than 30 seconds. If you are looking for a machine that really works, the Nutri Ninja is it.

I read a lot of reviews before this purchase and am glad i chose this product. The entire unit is sturdy as my other ninja appliances. The power is great! Im blending smoothies that have frozen fruits, ice andmseeds as well as fresh fruits and veggies. I start off with a couple pulses, then just hit start until finished. I dont use the auto blend, but it is a neat feature, my smoothies just dont need that minute of blending…it works that well. I have had no leaking issues at lids or blade attachment and I push the fill limit. There have been reviews on the rubber gasket or seal being moldy. It comes out easily, cleans easily and goes right back in just fine. Don’t put it all back together wet, and clean it well, that’s it. The lids are nice and sturdy with good size sip opening, also good for large reusable straws. The plastic body cup seems durable. I read complaints that it’s loud….It’s a blender. It’s loud. It’s powerful and takes all of 30 seconds, maybe, to have your smoothie ready. Just buy this one, you’ll be happy.

This is a great blender cup! I use frozen berries or ice in my shakes and it chews them up like nothing. It is on the louder side but what do you expect when blending frozen items. Everything seems extremely well made. The blades are super thick and solid compared to my regular ninja blender. I would recommend it to anyone.

We have had this blender for a few months, and now make smoothies most mornings. It powers through ice– blending it to a fine texture. We put the smaller cup and lids in the dishwasher without any issues. So far, the blender shows no signs of wear and tear.I learned from other reviews to remove the rubber ring from the blender lid regularly to clean it. I now remove it after each use. Without the ring, it is easy to clean the blender lid. To extract the ring the first time, I used a bent paper clip which worked well. I have floss tied around it now to make removal easier.

I specifically got this to make my blended coffee drinks. I have had it for over a month now and couldn’t be more happy. I was using a standard blender that was bulky and hard to clean! I have used this every day since getting it.. it is so easy to clean… literally rinse off or clean easy with soap and let dry instead of needing to run it thru the dishwasher every day. It’s so fast and powerful in blending my blended coffee drinks. I haven’t tried it with other things because I solely got it for my drinks but I am saving a ton of money not going to coffee shops and my drinks taste exactly how I want them! I love everything about this magical little kitchen tool! Throw away your bulky blenders that don’t actually work and do yourself a favor and get this product. There hasn’t been a day since we received Tim it that we haven’t used it (usually multiple times a day!) I adore the pulse feature which helps move things around to grab frozen items from the top but you can also push one of the two automatic buttons and walk away for 60-90 seconds and come back to your beautiful smoothie, gravy, whatever! (Also no more need for an immersion blender for soup! My only complaint is the noise for which I wear safety noise blocking hear phones.

This is my second Nutra Ninja, (Ran the first one into the smoothy graveyard.) Cups and lids are much improved and easier to clean and drink from. Placing the cup/blades onto the motor base is easier as simply pressing down locks it in and an indicator light confirms it. And the blending consistency is better, (Although my old one was getting pretty tired so maybe not a fair comparison!) The new one is getting a workout, blending everything from smoothies and salsa to vegan cheese, and does a great job.

Lots of power to mutilate your fruit, ice and greens into a smoothie fit for God. Not so easy to clean if it leaks you need a sponge on a stick to get into the crevices on the base. The cups are a pain as well. We mix and pour into another cup. The mixer cup has little plastic barbs that stick out and are rough on my hands. The lids are not much better. they have no breather hole to let air in as you drink and the mouth hole is very small. We use it 2 or 3 times a day because it works great and we love it. Drop a whole apple in ( and a bit of water to get it started and its a smooth apple sauce in 60 seconds. Protein powder and fiber and a bit of sugar and I am off to the races. After a couple of weeks I am feeling more energetic in the mornings and I have lost 2 lbs… Its a start. Warning it is loud and my dog runs and hides when we start it up. ear plugs highly recommended…

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Totally worth it, was hesitant because I have a ninja blender that’s bulky and a pain to clean and just the expense… but oh my, I’m glad I found this one! I love the blend technique and that I can walk away because it does it all for me and has suction cups. Super sturdy, the quality shows as soon as you unpack it. Usually, I’d have to stand at the blender playing with the speeds to get the consistency I want and to make sure it doesn’t make it’s way to the edge of the counter. What an improvement from the old Nutribullet; the automatic blender buttons make it so easy. Smoothies, both vegetable and fruit, are the best way of consuming fresh produce. I had a kale/yogurt/prune/mixed spring greens/carrot/cherry tomato/oat bran smoothie just now and it was not only tasty but full of healthy nutrients. Later today I will have a blueberry/apple/pear/yogurt smoothie. This certainly beats cooking vegetables and preparing fruity desserts. As an eighty-three year old who has beaten cancer this spring, I need all the healthy food I can get — this blender certainly does the job. Highly recommend.

I love this little unit …it’s a little powerhouse. I blend drinks with 2 8oz bottles of water minus 1/2 to 1/4 cup to add fruit or veggies. The ultra-blend runs for a minute and blends everything to a fully blended liquid. I use this unit to give my vitamin break The blending piece fits snuggly into the bullet which seems to avoid the gripping gears from stripping which happened to an older Ninja Blending machine that I had to trash, so this seems to be more current and more thought out…this is a decent and affordable uhit.

1st, Ninja is a deceptive name, this thing should come with earplugs. However all that noise comes from what i can only assume is a micro sized top fuel dragster running my blender because holy torque Batman! The suction cups on the bottom seem silly till you turn it on for the first time. You’d swear it wants to start doing doughnuts on the counter top only to be held on by the bravest suction cups i have ever encountered.. puns aside. This thing is a blending BEAST! It liquefies anything that gets sacrificed up to its merciless blades. If your sick of chunky shakes or bits of ice that nearly chip your teeth worry no more. Put the cup on and dive for cover because it sounds like war just erupted in that cup that i now know why is so thick. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are bullet proof. Can you handle this much power?

Coming from an old blender with a spigot, this is what I was hoping for – easy to use and easy to clean. Powerful and convenient. One small nuisance – the blender cap (with blades) screws onto the outside of the cup. After blending and removing that cap, the drinking cap screws onto the inside threads sometimes leaving a wet edge on the outside. So that outside edge may have to be wiped off. That’s a minor extra step (sometimes) when a better design might have the drinking cap screwing onto the outside threads.

I’ve read some bizarre reviews in which people reported leaking – absolutely untrue- they probdidn’t read the directions. Within 10 mins of receiving this – I was drinking a smoothie. It’s SO easy to use- SO easy to clean. It’s VERY loud yes- it has a lot of power, so yes it’s going to be loud. If you live in an apartment and plan to use it late at night or early in am- better check with your neighbors first, or if you have a person in your home who would be frightened of loud noises etc. This makes PRO level smoothies- and lots of other things too. It has 2 automatic settings too – it will pulse and mix it for you! Highly recommend this. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

The part I like best is that I have the option to start and stop the blending myself, or to push a button which automatically blends and stops when done. This blender is built great, works amazing and is compact enough for me to leave it on the counter. There are three family members that make smoothie/protein shakes every day and this machine works perfectly. The only thing I wish they would improve would be the noise it makes. It is very loud but I would imagine that would be tough to lower with how powerful the motor is but I’m not a expert in that area. Still, it’s a small thing to deal with (IMO) as it only takes at most 15-45 seconds to blend depending on your ingredients. Would highly recommend! Hope this helps! :)Update: 5 Months and it just stopped working. Haven’t even used it that much and I went to make a smoothie today and it lights up and timer works as if it’s blending but the motor never turns on. I have never had this happen with a kitchen appliance. I would avoid this brand as I am. First and last Ninja product. We’ll see how they are about the warranty. Currently on indefinite hold with their customer service. :(Update: Warranty is a JOKE! They will replace it for $20 shipping?! Why do I have to pay another $20 for an item that is only going to work for 5 months? And, why do you not just replace it for all of the hassle? This thing probably cost them less then $20 to make. I don’t get it and I will never buy Ninja again. I not only have a useless blender but I bought extra cups for it so my investment is well over $100. Unfortunately Amazon won’t do anything because it’s past 30 days. I would much rather take my $20 and invest it in a product that’s reliable and not have to go through this whole ordeal again. For power users I can only say that it’s lasted me over a year with zero issues and has been 100% worth it, regardless of when it eventually craps out. Clean-up is easy. Maybe wipe down the base unit occassionally. But for the used cup, blade top, and lid, just rinse with water, squirt a couple drops of dawn in the cup, refill with water, shake, rinse, and dry. My only tips are to not exceed the fill line and use enough liquid to ensure efficient operation of the blender.

I purchased this as a replacement to a cheaper model that required you to press down on the canister during blending. To be honest, all I really wanted was a one push button. This blender, with it’s two speeds gave because much more. It blended four types of frozen fruits along with macadamia milk like a breeze. The resulting smoothie was perfectly blended. I LOVE not having to stand there and press down. The motor is powerful. The functionality is excellent. The accompanying canisters are perfect sizes. I was able to make enough to share with my spouse. It’s definitely worth it.

I LOVE this blender! It works so so well for all my needs. I make a lot of smoothies with frozen fruit, ginger, etc and it makes it so smooth! There is no big mess to clean up, the base stays clean no matter what. I really only need to wash the blending top with water after use and it all seals very well. Probably best purchase I’ve made in 2020! I’m not sure how they would take away the noise level. It’s super loud in my small house but I don’t care haha.

It does a great job! I bought this about a year ago and I’ve had no issues with it. It will leak and spill but that’s only when I over load it beyond the max level. It would be nice if there was an easier way to be able to clean the blade part of it where the ring lays but popping the rubber ring with a sharp knife works well enough to get it out and clean so that it doesn’t get mold from stuck on food.

This machine makes smoothies with the same consistency and texture as the high dollar ones you find at the gym or places like smoothie king. It does it in about a minute. The only problem I had (totally my fault) is that I prepared a mixture and didn’t have the lid sealed correctly. The machine ran without me noticing it, once I removed the cup there was a puddle. The compartment that holds the cup is hard to clean if there’s any spillage. It also had small holes in that lead to the sealed components. I cleaned it as best I could. Right now the liquid hasn’t caused it to run any different, but if it does I would quickly purchase this product again

Man this thing has the horses. If you’re looking for something to just make smoothies (like we were), then this thing is probably overkill. The IQ auto setting blends for 45 seconds. Chia seeds disappear at that blend time. That makes your smoothie into a drink, straight liquefies it. I started to use the Start/Stop button for about 20 seconds and that does the trick. If you’re going to make more than smoothies, like sauces or salsa or something else like that then this will do it. If you’re looking to just make smoothies for the morning then I would go with a lesser powered one. Plus a lesser powered one would hopefully be quieter. This thing is LOUD. Like drive your pets away, wake up the entire house, neighbors calling the police loud. I’ve heard jet engines quieter than this thing. I give it 5 stars because it works and works well. This thing would pulverize titanium alloy.

I have used this product literally every day. Sometimes twice a day. It’s just so easy to throw a few items in the jar and hit blend. It is crazy loud, but it’s a blender, so I don’t really care. It has done a great job at blending up ice and frozen fruit. I’ve never had any issues with it getting stuck. There is something mentally about getting a little cup out versus a big blender jar. I have a vitamin (that I also love), but the idea of pulling it out and making too much green smoothie, etc, usually means I just don’t make a smoothie. I love this! Fill it to the line with frozen fruit and the thickest Greek Yogurt you can buy and just push the IQ button, then step away while it does its magic. The IQ feature spins, stalls, spins, stalls in a way that renders a perfectly smooth smoothie in one minute. I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he has used it almost twice a day, every day since. It’s very sturdy and durable. Make sure you put it on a stable surface before using. We originally put it on top of our roll-away dishwasher and it was so strong that it made the entire thing shake and move around. IT has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from scooting across the counter though so that’s a good feature. I love the auto-IQ buttons. This blender does an amazing job of juicing fruits and veggies. I am impressed with the pulverization of strawberry seeds. I’m not sure why but it doesn’t seem to work as well on black berry seeds. Maybe they’re tougher? It does a great job with fibrous stuff like apples and celery. I personally like it for my keto diet because I can mix almond milk with strawberries and have a yummy treat. I haven’t had an leaking problems with the blade or lid attachments. I will say though, don’t put either attachment on too tightly or you may struggle to get it off. It seems to suction itself onto the cup. A few times I got worried that I wouldn’t be able to get the lid off. I also find all the pieces easy to clean. Overall, great product! Worth every penny!

Ah-mazing!!!! I’ve had a magic bullet for yeeeears. It lasted me roughly 10 years. Then I got a subscription to Daily Harvest and it was just too much for the bullet. RIP. I did some research and was torn between this Ninja and the Nutri Bullet. Considering the Daily Harvest smoothies contain a lot of seeds, I decided this Ninja would be the best option.I was hesitant because of the price. It’s quite high for a blender and two cups with lids. I needed it ASAP so I got same day delivery.It’s louder than a train, but it was worth every penny!!! I like to make quick smoothies out of frozen fruit/veggies, and I like to make oat flour by blending old-fashioned rolled oats. This puppy does that for me in no time flat! I like the auto technology, too. I just set it and forget it (ya know, for the whole 60 seconds that it might take to finish the job). I haven’t had any issues with it, it’s super easy to clean compared to the other full-size blender I have, and it’s convenient to just take the cup and go.My only gripe is that, especially with frozen fruit, it’s very LOUD. Blends better than I imagined. Very easy to use. Clean up is simple and fast. The recipe book that comes with it is a great starting point. I have consumed more veggies and fruits (and protein powder) in the last week than I probably did in the entire month before thanks to this easy to use device. Yes, it is loud, but I press the blend button and leave the room, so it is not a big deal. My only criticism is that the lids seem to be difficult to line up and get on. I’m still rating it 5 stars however because the clean up process is so easy it makes up for the lid and the noise.

This has to be one of the easiest blenders I have ever used. If you need to make something quick and easy this has you, just grab a portable cup, put your ingredients in, and blend! You’ll be out the door in 5 minutes if you’re prepared! I love that they sell bigger cup sizes and the manual comes with tons of recipes and ideas! If you owned a previous ninja I would even recommend this because the auto IQ blend makes a better consistency especially for shakes!

I consider myself a bit of a smoothie blender connoisseur. I have been consuming smoothies for breakfast for nearly a decade (one healthy habit I have actually stuck to). In that time, I have purchased 1 regular old-school blender, 3 nutri-bullets, 2 aicook blenders and now my first ninja.The old-school blender didn’t break things down to smoothie consistency so there were still chunks of kale or fruit and I would end up chewing more of my smoothie than drinking it. The nutribullet did a great job of blending but eventually that rubber ring would pop out, the cup would leak and smoothie everywhere…so I went through 3 of those. Last year I bought the aicook that is very similar to the nutribullet. I went through two of these pretty quickly. It blends well but the cup leaks and the motor on my second one wouldn’t turn off. Enter Ninja.Upon unpacking this thing, I was a little disappointed because it takes up a little more counter space than my previous products. The cups don’t have the treads on the outside like the nutribullet and aicook and I think this is a benefit…less leakage and less to clean. The blender is powerful. The first time I used it there were still a few chunks of kale that I had to chew, the second time I used the ultra blend button and problem solved. The device seems to be well made and works as intended. If anything changes I will update this review. I would recommend this product for smoothies.

Fill it to the line with frozen fruit and the thickest Greek Yogurt you can buy and just push the IQ button, then step away while it does its magic. The IQ feature spins, stalls, spins, stalls in a way that renders a perfectly smooth smoothie in one minute. I love this thing, its very easy to use and really blends everything really well. The only slight down side would be if you need to blend a very large amount of stuff because it doesn’t hold more than about 2-3 smoothies worth. For my needs its perfect. Much better than the other Ninja blender I tried before this which had a huge container and seemed to just toss the ingredients around. The small space in this one allows all ingredient to touch the blades and blend very smoothly. It is not a quiet blender if that is a concern. But, if a blender is quiet – it can’t be working very well!

I purchased this blender to replace my giant Ninja blender because I rarely use it for anything other than smoothies. It has been a fantastic addition to my life as it is so much easier to clean than the giant one, and the larger included cup is the perfect size for all my smoothy ingredients. I love that I can just throw it all in there, blend it up, switch out the cap and be on my way, leaving me with nothing extra to wash. As some other reviewers have noted, it is a bit noisy, but not nearly as noisy as my much larger Ninja blender. The noise is certainly not something that I see as a reason to avoid this blender.

I like the fact that I can drink my fiber. My whole system is working better and my skin looks clearer on my arms. I am old and get those old person bruises. This seems to be helping. It is so easy to use and clean I use it at least once daily. I put sweet potatoes, apples, salad greens or spinach, yogurt, black cumin oil, liquid vitamin b, and frozen fruit into yogurt and add enough almond milk to process. I don’t mind the noise anymore.

This is a great blender. Note there are some ingredients that does not purify to well like kale. If you are looking for more of the juice from ingredients I would say go with a juicer. I began this purchase by eyeing an envelope of Matcha powder I needed to go through, but how .. the idea of a Matcha Shake seemed appealing so I started researching options and models, settled on this 1 kW model of Ninja. It performs beautifully, and I especially love the Auto-IQ feature, which allows me to toss everything into the blender, hit that button, and walk away and let it do its thing. The only complaint I have is that it’s very loud (which is why I love the aforementioned feature), but that’s to be expected given the powerful motor.

I use the Ninja twice daily to whiz up Muniq shakes. It works great, really blends the ice so there are no chunks, and is really quick. Yes, it’s loud, but it’s only loud for a minute. That’s ok with me since it does such a great job blending. It washes up nicely in the dishwasher, too. My husband uses it on weekends for fruit smoothies and he loves it because it smoothly blends all the fruit. Does a much better job than our blender. What I really like is the presets that you can select. It mixes and pauses just right to incorporate all the shake powder and liquid/ice.

I would give credit to another reviewer who said to use a paper clip to remove the silicone gasket, but it might’ve been for another product and I haven’t found that same review here. Basically you just need a thin, stiff and long enough wire with a tiny little hook at the end so you can slide the wire into the crevice (on either the inner or outer side of the gasket works), turn the hook into or under the gasket to catch it, and pull the gasket out from the lid. Just cut/break the paperclip at one of the curves to make a hook, extend the rest of the clip and bend it to an angle so it’s easier to twist. It works easily and consistently after you see how it works. It also seems to help if the gasket in the lid is wet, so if the gasket is dry and seems stuck, run it under water and try again. I’ve been doing this for over a year and while the gasket has abrasions from this removal process, it is still sturdy and functions just as well without any problems. I’m guessing the gasket might outlast any other part of the blender. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a wrong way to put the gasket back in, but it seems to fit naturally with the ridged side out.

I am so disappointed in this. I love the Ninja brand. I don’t know what’s up with this one though. It’s so loud I actually have to warn my child (admittedly he is extra sensitive) before I turn it on, so he can cover his ears or leave the room. My smoothie keeps getting up under the rubber ring, and I can’t get it clean without taking the ring out every time. I did contact the company to ask them if that was normal, and if so how do I get the rubber ring out easily without damaging it. The only way I can get it out is to stab it with a fork, and drag it out. While they were super nice, and got back to me very quickly every time, their answer was to just send me a new blade. Well that’s nice, but still doesn’t answer my question or solve my problem. The first 2 blades they sent me were for a different Ninja. When they finally sent me the one that works for what I bought I still didn’t have an answer to how the rubber ring is supposed to work with the system. Now I don’t know what happened. It leaks every time I use it, and it is hard to clean all the nooks and crannies in the base. Sometimes we can get the blade back off, and other times my husband has to get a c-clamp from the garage to get it off. I’m over it. I went out, and bought a different Ninja system. I would return this one, but my kids already destroyed and recycled the box it came in even though I tried to hide it from them. What can I say, my kid like to make forts with boxes rather than sheets. 🙂

This blender is awesome! I have a Daily Harvest subscription and get healthy frozen smoothies delivered every week. My previous blender, bought about a year ago because it featured a to-go blending container and was relatively cheap, couldn’t tackle the frozen smoothie blending. I had to babysit it and stop it every few seconds to break up the frozen bits. The Nutri Ninja is a beast: it makes a well-blended, delicious smoothie with the touch of a button. I can walk away from it and do a task or two while it gets the job done. Sure, it’s noisy, but I got used to it quickly and the benefits of a high-powered machine far exceed the noise issue. It also has the to-go blending container so I don’t have to pour the smoothie into a separate vessel. And the design is so much better than my previous blender’s. This one’s a no-brainer. I’m a fan.

I’ve owned the same expensive blender for around 10 years and it was my most loved kitchen appliance as I make a massive smoothie most mornings.I finally needed to replace it and decided to try a Nutri-bullet style blender. I came across this one after a lot of research and decided to try it. I put a lot into my smoothies (Oats, frozen fruits nuts, powders, berries, greens, etc.) and this handles it all.It’s pretty loud but it works amazingly. I live alone so it’s fine but if you have a family and a small house you probably don’t want to use this before 7AM!Still think it’s incredible though especially when I upgraded to a 32oz container.

Just made my lunch smoothie with the machine. I was using a Cuisinart personal blender for the last few years, It worked but I had to switch between pulse and blend. It also was just OK on power. The Ninja is a beast! Everything is automatic and it blends MUCH finer. Noise? Can’t lie, it is a little noisy but much quieter than the Cuisinart. I love it already. I got it from the Amazon Warehouse and was a little worried because of something else I just bought and returned because it was obviously not checked over well because it was returned and wasn’t in “like new” condition. And I’ve purchased Echo devices through the Warehouse with no problem. But the Ninja I received today has helped restore my confidence in Amazon Warehouse items. The box was damaged as stated. But the product worked for me perfectly and had no cosmetic flaws that I have noticed. I was so tired of using the shaker cup I have that I opened the Ninja up right away and cleaned it and used it. Wow. I’m impressed. And to think I didn’t know I could afford a Ninja blender. But thanks to Amazon Warehouse I got this one for almost half the price of a new one.It is powerful and quick and I’ll have to try it out more to see what it’s best points are. But for now it’s just better than shaking my shakes by hand and them not being completely mixed after I shake and shake and shake. I am totally impressed right now and happy I could get a special price just because the box was damaged. And it is easy to clean. If you rinse it immediately after use it is like it hasn’t been used at all. I’m sure I’ll want to at least hand wash the items I have used tonight. But they were super easy to rinse clean after use. And I would definitely recommend this product and also say don’t let one bad experience turn you away from Amazon Warehouse products. This is not all that loud!!! A lot of the reviews said it was very loud but I don’t think so. It has SO MUCH power and blends up very smoothly. I use it almost daily and haven’t had a problem since purchase! the only thing I didn’t like were the attachable lids that it comes with….once I came home from work and it had gotten stuff on the cup….not sure why but maybe because it sat all day and I didn’t wash it so the smoothies liquid was in the groves from twisting it on that morning! VERY easy to clean! and it honestly doesn’t take up a lot of counter space!

I highly recommend this product; I purchased it after another brand conked out, and it is FAR superior to what I had before. There are two settings (one from frozen smoothies, and one for fresh), plus a pulse and a start/stop button. I’ve used all the functions successfully, and the Ninja does an EXCELLENT job of blending frozen fruit. I’ve also used it to make bread crumbs and chop nuts (also works for that).The blades, cups, and lids seem sturdy and well-constructed, and I like how you have to have the cup properly seated before you can start the blender–seems less likely to wear down the contacts that way. I’ve only had this product for a month, so I’ll have to comment on longevity later, but so far, I’m super-satisfied. Also, I’m not sure why people are complaining about the noise because this isn’t any louder than the personal blender I had before–I mean, it’s a blender, It’s not a quiet device. So far, so good, and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Lots of power to mutilate your fruit, ice and greens into a smoothie fit for God. Not so easy to clean if it leaks you need a sponge on a stick to get into the crevices on the base. The cups are a pain as well. We mix and pour into another cup. The mixer cup has little plastic barbs that stick out and are rough on my hands. The lids are not much better. they have no breather hole to let air in as you drink and the mouth hole is very small. We use it 2 or 3 times a day because it works great and we love it. Drop a whole apple in ( and a bit of water to get it started and its a smooth apple sauce in 60 seconds. Protein powder and fiber and a bit of sugar and I am off to the races. After a couple of weeks I am feeling more energetic in the mornings and I have lost 2 lbs… Its a start. Warning it is loud and my dog runs and hides when we start it up. ear plugs highly recommended…

I love this little beast. I previously owned 2 Nutri Bullets both of which does after a year. The Ninja is so superior in many ways. The motor is powerful enough to grind ice and fruit into a smoothie, the AutoIQ helps prevent the typical vortex of nothingness that a thick icy smoothie causes. Usually you have to remove the lid and tamp the mixture down a few times. With AutoIQ, the machine stops, allows the icy mixture to drift back down then mixes again… over and over. It’s small but powerful. Easy to clean because the blades are separate from the container. Each can be rinsed and washed easily.Owned this for 2 years, it sits on my counter. I make home made salad dressings, fruit smoothies, pestos, etc. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR DICING. It just grinds everything to a semi-liquid.Also, I just ordered the 32 oz cups so I can do soup purées without using the giant blender. Because this machine is 10x easier to clean.

After using a Kitchen Aid professional blender for many years, I thought I would never find a good replacement but this Ninja is great! Good quality materials, robust, powerful, even with frozen fruits and seeds the smoothies are perfect – no bits and pieces. It’s a little noisy and the rubber ring is very deep inside, so you’ll need a tool or a needle to take it out to clean it once in a while (there’s a review here by someone else that mentions the same issue)… but the Auto IQ function is very practical, so is the small size cup which fits exactly my smoothie size. Bought it together with a pack of 8 silicone reusable straws from Flathead for 8 USD (please consider it, save the planet). Very happy and recommend!

I did so much research on personal blenders before i choose this one. Plan on using this product to make smoothies. I had a cheap black and decker that would leave big chunks of ice in my drinks. I’ve used it probably 70-80 times in the two months I’ve owned it. No problems. Much easier to clean than my Omega juicer, which means I’ll keep using it. It is very loud. I actually put on firing range muffs when I use it. Once you turn it on, you can walk away from it and it goes through a routine of stops and starts for a minute or so. And if you don’t have firing range muffs, you will want to walk away from it ASAP. My typical shake is banana, frozen strawberries, soy milk, oats, pea+peanut protein powder, brown rice protein powder, spirulina, cinnamon, water, peanut oil.

This thing is awesome! I use it for protein shakes but it does the job perfectly. Fruit, nuts, ice or even seasonings like cinnamon mixes extremely well. Be sure you don’t cross-thread the lid or blades when you get ready to blend. It will tighten several rounds yet still leak but if threaded properly, no worries at all.

I been using a 600 watt Nutribullet for while to make my protein shakes. My shakes consist of protein powder, blueberries, strawberries, spinach, orange, ice, and water. The Nutribullet struggles to chop through the ice and it also leaves the fluid too “chunky”. As it struggles, you can also smell something burning in the motor. I also had oil leak out of the top grinding piece and that was it for me.I figured that with a 1000 watt Ninja, it had to work better so I pulled the trigger on it. The Ninja is significantly more powerful than the Nutribullet! It pulverizes everything into a nice, consistently smooth fluid. Many reviews talk about the noise it makes, it’s really no different than any other blender I’ve ever had, I mean it’s blending food and it’s going to be loud. As far as how it works it’s amazing, super high quality, totally easier to clean, very convenient to have the cups already on the blender, cups are very high quality and fitment is perfect, we use this thing multiple times a day and my favorite feature is the blend mode, you hit one button and walk away and it counts down until it’s perfectly blended, I would recommend this to anyone….. Unless of course you’re afraid of slight blender noises lol

This blender is very awesome and I have never had issues with it at all. however… there is a major design flaw. There is a rubber gasket that lies on the lid of the blender. NO WHERE in the directions does it say this needs to be removed for cleaning. After a few months of use I noticed a strong odor coming from the lid and couldn’t figure out why. When I put a knife in the lid to get the gasket out, it was PURE BLACK from mold. It was pretty disgusting and had to let is soak in Clorox all night to get the mold off. This sounds like something NINJA should know and should tell customers on how to properly clean. I imagine someone could get sick from the mold. it was pretty disgusting.

Okay, this actually kind of freaked me out. I ordered this on Tuesday, and it was on my doorstep on Wednesday. Is there now some kind of teleportation device Amazon’s using to ship things? The ice in my drink didn’t even melt before I got this thing. I had one of these Ninja’s and it unfortunately didn’t come with me when I moved, so I ordered another one. These things are great. It’s actually fun to make drinks with it, so I’m getting healthier stuff added to my diet without even thinking about it. I’m a long-time user of a Magic Bullet for making my protein smoothies. However, this personal blender so far outclasses that unit, it’s not even a fair fight. The additional pre-programmed settings offer a true “set and forget” environment, blending powders, frozen fruits, ice, and liquids into a perfect drink. Yes- it is a bit loud to operate, but I’ve yet to use a “quiet” blender. No other unit comes close to stacking up, performance-wise- in any price range.

If I could give 10 STARS for Ninja’s improvements on the Nutri Ninja Auto – iQ I would. I begin every day with a protein shake with 8 different ingredients. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years. Started with my cuisinart blender. Loved the drink, but hated the clean-up! Then in 2010ish I discovered the Ninja Bullet. That was like going from propeller airplanes to a small Jet engine. But it had its limitations…Needed more power. Then I bought my first Nutri Ninja, thought I had died and gone to heaven! But, on occasion it would loosen the top blade assembly and leak creating a mess. It didn’t matter how high you filled it or how tight you screwed on the top, once a month it would leak. So when it was time to replace it I switched brands and went with an Aicock. Same thing, was great most of the time, then it would leak….Finally, I was smelling burnt rubber, time to shop again. Meanwhile Ninja was listening to the leaking complaints and fixed the problem. With all the old units, you fill up the blender cup-screw on the blade assembly-drop into slots, then twist it into place. Now, the base is totally closed in, and no more twisting. You just drop into the slots and you know you have a connection when 0 shows up on the screen. Perfect every time! Cleanups about 10 sec. no messes, and I’m flying the concord!! Ninja, thanks for listening and actually making it better instead of cheaper.

After much research, I determined that the Nutri Ninja blender was the best for his needs in terms of size & ease of operation. You can’t take out the ring with bare hands. I used disposable toothpicks, but it didn’t even worked well and it was so frustrating. I bought a long and thin ear pick to take it out, and now I am finally 100% happy with this blender.- The smart blend option isn’t that helpful. It doesn’t take longer than 5-10 seconds to blend anything anyway.- Sometimes when opening the blender lid, contents squirt out by the pressure built around the rubber ring. It is just how bullet style blenders are built, and you have to deal with it.

We have had this blender for a few months, and now make smoothies most mornings. It powers through ice– blending it to a fine texture. We put the smaller cup and lids in the dishwasher without any issues. So far, the blender shows no signs of wear and tear.I learned from other reviews to remove the rubber ring from the blender lid regularly to clean it. I now remove it after each use. Without the ring, it is easy to clean the blender lid. To extract the ring the first time, I used a bent paper clip which worked well. I have floss tied around it now to make removal easier.

Yup…short and simple the old Ninja I had maxed out (as far as my research could provide me anyway) at the 16oz mini cups.As many of you have experienced, the nightmare of trying to make a breakfast smoothie and it blowing out of the lid everywhere because the tiny 16oz cup was over-filled (not hard to do).This blender comes with an 18oz and a 24oz (24oz is the way to go) and has all the blending power of my other unit. This is a 5/5 unit so long as it lasts.

Ah-mazing!!!! I’ve had a magic bullet for yeeeears. It lasted me roughly 10 years. Then I got a subscription to Daily Harvest and it was just too much for the bullet. RIP. I did some research and was torn between this Ninja and the Nutri Bullet. Considering the Daily Harvest smoothies contain a lot of seeds, I decided this Ninja would be the best option.I was hesitant because of the price. I got it from the Amazon Warehouse and was a little worried because of something else I just bought and returned because it was obviously not checked over well because it was returned and wasn’t in “like new” condition. And I’ve purchased Echo devices through the Warehouse with no problem. But the Ninja I received today has helped restore my confidence in Amazon Warehouse items. The box was damaged as stated. But the product worked for me perfectly and had no cosmetic flaws that I have noticed. I was so tired of using the shaker cup I have that I opened the Ninja up right away and cleaned it and used it. Wow. I’m impressed. And to think I didn’t know I could afford a Ninja blender. But thanks to Amazon Warehouse I got this one for almost half the price of a new one.It is powerful and quick and I’ll have to try it out more to see what it’s best points are. But for now it’s just better than shaking my shakes by hand and them not being completely mixed after I shake and shake and shake. I am totally impressed right now and happy I could get a special price just because the box was damaged. And it is easy to clean. If you rinse it immediately after use it is like it hasn’t been used at all. I’m sure I’ll want to at least hand wash the items I have used tonight. But they were super easy to rinse clean after use. And I would definitely recommend this product and also say don’t let one bad experience turn you away from Amazon Warehouse products. Blender works great but does not include the 32 oz as stated in the headline “Ninja BL480D Blender 32/24/18 oz Black/Silver” other than that I recommend the product. The Ultra Blend mode pulses the blender for a few seconds for the first 30 seconds or so and it mixes everything up really good. Less mess than using my regular Ninja blender glad I got this.

I had used the competitor to Ninja for over a decade and had been happy. However, I made the switch to Ninja recently (The $30 gasket part in the other had to be replaced too often and their customer service was poor) and love this unit.Power is great. All blenders are noisy so the complaints about noise mystify me. It only takes a few seconds to blend anything so the noise doesn’t bother me.I use this daily for Frappuccinos. It does work OK for hummus, but unless you like hummus very thin, it’s not the best for that. It does seem like this unit requires some liquid to function optimally. Without adequate liquid, food doesn’t stay close enough to the blades to blend well. So…for things like hummus, pesto, one ingredient banana ice cream, etc, stick to a food processor.My only complaint is the lack of handles for the containers. However, the handles from the competitor work fine!I’m not sure all the different blend functions are needed—one on/off or pulse function would have been fine.This is a great unit. If you like smoothies and Frappuccino drinks, you need this!

Two downsides, first, it is very loud. But I’ll take it because it works. Second, I always seem to get it past the “Max fill” line, it is smaller than the full size Ninja blender I was using before. But the ease in cleaning this makes it worth it and it is an effective little machine.

I went from using a 750-watt Breville countertop blender to this, and WOW. The spinach and strawberry seeds in my smoothies were pulverized. I haven’t tried crushing ice since I don’t need my smoothies to be that cold, but I bet this thing makes fantastic frozen drinks – I will be trying that out this summer!But yes, it is LOUD, and I’m not even blending anything very challenging. I guess that’s the price you pay for the extra power. A lot of people these days seem to have partial hearing loss by the time they’re in their twenties, maybe from growing up with earbuds. My hearing is still great at 50. So I am sticking in earplugs before I turn this thing on, because otherwise it really does make me wince. My pets flee…

I have used my Nutri Ninja Auto IQ daily for 5 months now. I replaced a Nutri Bullit Pro, which I now know is an inferior product. It leaked every time I used it and I was forever cleaning up messes and draining the base.When my Nutri Bullit Pro motor finally burned up from all the leakage, I decided to try the Nutri Ninja. What a remarkable improvement in overall quality that I noticed the minute I set it up! More powerful motor and the container NEVER leaks. It is noisy, but I never run it for more than 10 seconds even though I am grinding up frozen fruits, dry oatmeal, flax seeds, chia, etc. The container and blades are easy to clean, I simply spray/rinse with hot water, dry lightly with towel and let air dry until next use.

I am absolutely loving my Ninja! After several years with a small Oster blender, I thought it was time to invest in a little better one and did I hit the jackpot. Come with two different sized drink cups that the blade assembly fits onto. Machine is very powerful, and after 10 seconds, does a great job of crushing ice as well as whatever else you put into it. Also have to give a great shout out to their service department. I accidentally tossed one of my lids into the trash, called them willing to purchase a replacement, and they are sending it to me free. Very happy with my purchase!

This is a great blender for smoothies. I had a smaller, less powerful Ninja blender (BN300) that didn’t handle frozen fruits very well and had only 16oz cups that also limited it’s ability to handle frozen fruits unless you were making a very small smoothie. The BL480 has 24oz cups and a lot more power. The IQ feature is great! Just press the Blend IQ button and the blender will figure out what it needs to do – pulse, stop to let ingredients go to the bottom, start up again, etc. makes a perfect 16oz smoothie in about 45 seconds using frozen fruit.

I’ve owned several different models of Ninjas and Nutribullets. This is comparable to the Nutribullet RX–which costs more–but better in that it doesn’t leak and it is easier to clean, while having the same auto-blend and shutoff capability. Pricewise, it is the same as the Nutribullet Pro, which in my opinion, sucks–it is far noisier, and the push tab system is flawed (customer service for Nutribullet is useless on this) and will get stuck 75% of the time so either it doesn’t blend or it won’t stop blending. Go with the Nutri Ninja instead.If you use the Nutri Ninja mainly for blending smoothies and extracting/juicing, this is a good buy.

Ive been reading reviews for weeks on various personal blenders, but when amazon fresh had a sale on the Auto IQ, I went for it. An hour and a half later, I had it. I’m not a good cook by any definition, but everything I’ve made has come out amazing so far. I bought some frozen mixed berries, frozen strawberries, blueberries, greek yogurt, bananas, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. I don’t use them all each time, I just throw in what I’m feeling. I try not to go over the max line, but it doesn’t even feel close to leaking. Sure, maybe it’s a bit loud, but not as loud as my parents nutribullet. I’ve had this for about a week now, and I’ve used it at least twice a day so far, with no sign of slowing down.This thing is awesome! It’s easy to clean, and I literally can’t find anything to nit-pick (except maybe the noise, but I knew what to expect).HIGHLY recommend!

Blends better than I imagined. Very easy to use. Clean up is simple and fast. The recipe book that comes with it is a great starting point. I have consumed more veggies and fruits (and protein powder) in the last week than I probably did in the entire month before thanks to this easy to use device. Yes, it is loud, but I press the blend button and leave the room, so it is not a big deal. My only criticism is that the lids seem to be difficult to line up and get on. I’m still rating it 5 stars however because the clean up process is so easy it makes up for the lid and the noise.

I purchased this blender to replace a similar (but much less powerful) as seen on tv brand which had broken. My husband and I had no idea what we were missing with our previous blender of the same style. We have found this blender to be incredibly powerful and it has held up well to being used multiple times every day for shakes and smoothies. As an added bonus we have found it to be great for blending frozen drinks. The only downside is that it is quite loud, but given how powerful it is we are not put off by this in the least.

I’ve used it probably 70-80 times in the two months I’ve owned it. No problems. Much easier to clean than my Omega juicer, which means I’ll keep using it. It is very loud. I actually put on firing range muffs when I use it. Once you turn it on, you can walk away from it and it goes through a routine of stops and starts for a minute or so. And if you don’t have firing range muffs, you will want to walk away from it ASAP. My typical shake is banana, frozen strawberries, soy milk, oats, pea+peanut protein powder, brown rice protein powder, spirulina, cinnamon, water, peanut oil.

I specifically got this to make my blended coffee drinks. I have had it for over a month now and couldn’t be more happy. I was using a standard blender that was bulky and hard to clean! I have used this every day since getting it.. it is so easy to clean… literally rinse off or clean easy with soap and let dry instead of needing to run it thru the dishwasher every day. It’s so fast and powerful in blending my blended coffee drinks. I haven’t tried it with other things because I solely got it for my drinks but I am saving a ton of money not going to coffee shops and my drinks taste exactly how I want them! I have used a few other blenders in the past, and when making a frozen drink, they all left ice crystals large enough to chew on (kind of like a slushie). The 1000 watt motor on this Ninja makes frozen drinks so well mixed, you dont even feel the ice crystals at all, it is so smooth, it reminds me of the real icee , vs a slushie of other brands. The blades and cups are also easy to clean, and seem very sturdy.The only down side is the drinks are so good, im going through 3x the rum that i used to!

I went from using a 750-watt Breville countertop blender to this, and WOW. The spinach and strawberry seeds in my smoothies were pulverized. I haven’t tried crushing ice since I don’t need my smoothies to be that cold, but I bet this thing makes fantastic frozen drinks – I will be trying that out this summer!But yes, it is LOUD, and I’m not even blending anything very challenging. I guess that’s the price you pay for the extra power. A lot of people these days seem to have partial hearing loss by the time they’re in their twenties, maybe from growing up with earbuds. My hearing is still great at 50. So I am sticking in earplugs before I turn this thing on, because otherwise it really does make me wince. My pets flee…

I make smoothies every morning, i have the big Ninja blinder. I got tired of over making, having so much to wash and deal with in the mornings so i bought this! AND I LOVE IT! It has two cups so me and hubby have one, with lids. Its perfect for us too because after he used it, all he has to do is wash the blade top and hes done! No having to find a cup, wash the whole thing out (we make diff flavor smoothies). Then for my self, its as simple as putting stuff in the cup, then blending and off to work. Very quick, and it blends great.Only down side— the sound. Off all blenders I’ve had so far, it is the loudest! And I mean crazy loud. But you don’t buy a blender for the sound so.

I did so much research on smoothie makers, until my head hurt! Previously had a Nutribullet. I’m am so happy with this choice. It demolishes whatever you put in there, and makes it smooth. I love the button where it does it until it’s done so I don’t have to sit and watch it. Just press the button and walk away. The ONLY downfall is that it is loud. But, with what it can do, of course it’s loud! I can handle that for 30 seconds a day.

I bought this rather sleek little device because I got sold on these REALLY expensive health shakes, which I am actually enjoying, and didn’t want to dirty two things (the blender and a glass) when I could just dirty the blender. It’s SO powerful there are suction cups on the bottom so it doesn’t move on the counter. I had used the competitor to Ninja for over a decade and had been happy. However, I made the switch to Ninja recently (The $30 gasket part in the other had to be replaced too often and their customer service was poor) and love this unit.Power is great. All blenders are noisy so the complaints about noise mystify me. It only takes a few seconds to blend anything so the noise doesn’t bother me.I use this daily for Frappuccinos. It does work OK for hummus, but unless you like hummus very thin, it’s not the best for that. It does seem like this unit requires some liquid to function optimally. Without adequate liquid, food doesn’t stay close enough to the blades to blend well. So…for things like hummus, pesto, one ingredient banana ice cream, etc, stick to a food processor.My only complaint is the lack of handles for the containers. However, the handles from the competitor work fine!I’m not sure all the different blend functions are needed—one on/off or pulse function would have been fine.This is a great unit. If you like smoothies and Frappuccino drinks, you need this!

I am absolutely loving my Ninja! After several years with a small Oster blender, I thought it was time to invest in a little better one and did I hit the jackpot. Come with two different sized drink cups that the blade assembly fits onto. Machine is very powerful, and after 10 seconds, does a great job of crushing ice as well as whatever else you put into it. Also have to give a great shout out to their service department. I accidentally tossed one of my lids into the trash, called them willing to purchase a replacement, and they are sending it to me free. Very happy with my purchase!

There have been a number of reviews complaining about the noise and the leaking. The noise level doesn’t even come close to my VitaMix. Every time I run that I wish I had one of those noise enclosures they use on QVC. Of course, I haven’t run it with ice cubes in the container yet. I just use frozen fruit.As far as the leaking … first time I used it, yes there was some very minor leaking. It took about 5 minutes using a table knife and a dish cloth to clean out the nooks and crannies. I gave it a lot of thought and when I just now made my 2nd smoothie I held the container down with the palm of my hand while the blender ran. No drips. No drops. I didn’t even press that hard, just enough to keep the base from jiggling around while it ran.As for the results … YUM. Everything blended up smooth and creamy (I used the Ultra button). This 2nd time I added a couple handfuls of nut/seed mix, some protein powder, and my frozen fruit. Everything is completely pureed. In one minute. this is well worth the money!

This is the first blender I have ever purchased, so I apologize for not being a blender connoisseur. I am one for quality as I do not want to purchase something over and over again, especially kitchen products. While I do think this blender is a bit louder than most, I am overall pretty impressed with the blending power on it. My smoothies are literally blended in seconds and I enjoy that this personal blender has blending options/buttons on it as I feel I have more control with it. I am currently just making smoothies with it, but will probably experiment with making guac and hummus with it later. I appreciate that the cups provided have a drink and seal lid and I do like the size of the cups as well. The bottom of the blender does have grippy feet to keep it in place, which again, I appreciate this feature. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommended it 🙂

Just bought another one for my other house. It’s loud, but it’s only on for 10 seconds or so. Does an amazing job of making a blended margarita. It pulverizes better than my Vitamix, and much easier to clean. I put a whole peeled orange in it, and it left no stringy fibers.

I love this little unit …it’s a little powerhouse. I blend drinks with 2 8oz bottles of water minus 1/2 to 1/4 cup to add fruit or veggies. The ultra-blend runs for a minute and blends everything to a fully blended liquid. I use this unit to give my vitamin break The blending piece fits snuggly into the bullet which seems to avoid the gripping gears from stripping which happened to an older Ninja Blending machine that I had to trash, so this seems to be more current and more thought out…this is a decent and affordable uhit.

The Ultra Blend mode pulses the blender for a few seconds for the first 30 seconds or so and it mixes everything up really good. Less mess than using my regular Ninja blender glad I got this.

The blender works fine as described. But the blending ability is not worth 80 bucks–it makes a smoothie with a push of a button. After a very annoying few minutes, your smoothie is ready. I’ve seen cheaper blenders that also make a smoothie with a push of a button just fine. There are a few annoying quirks with this blender–you put your stuff in upside down so protein powder tends to stick on the top even if you put in the liquid first. And cleaning the top of this is a bit tricky. But it’s all doable. The major drawback is a dealbreaker–the noise level.The decibel level of this blender is 92 measured by me and CDC’s free NOISH ap. If you have kids this is well above the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended noise level as well as above the OSHA noise level recommendation–and I measured it from my face standing near the kitchen counter–my 8-year-old son has a face is closer to the blender when we made a smoothie together. So kids need to be out of the room. And for adults, this WILL damage your sensitive auditory hair cells. I’ll save my noise damage for a few more concerts before I die and get rid of this blender. If you use it twice a day I reckon you’ll have tinnitis (ringing in your ears) from hair cell death before you are 55. I’m a physician so this is an expert opinion and not data from a randomized trial.Sadly we needed a blender for the last month and have passed the amazon return period. They only gave a month window to return this which is s sucky new amazon policy. We’ll find a way to pass this on to someone without kids who doesn’t mind some ear damage.

I love this little beast. I previously owned 2 Nutri Bullets both of which does after a year. The Ninja is so superior in many ways. The motor is powerful enough to grind ice and fruit into a smoothie, the AutoIQ helps prevent the typical vortex of nothingness that a thick icy smoothie causes. Usually you have to remove the lid and tamp the mixture down a few times. With AutoIQ, the machine stops, allows the icy mixture to drift back down then mixes again… over and over. It’s small but powerful. Easy to clean because the blades are separate from the container. Each can be rinsed and washed easily.Owned this for 2 years, it sits on my counter. I make home made salad dressings, fruit smoothies, pestos, etc. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR DICING. It just grinds everything to a semi-liquid.Also, I just ordered the 32 oz cups so I can do soup purées without using the giant blender. Because this machine is 10x easier to clean.

Bought about 2 weeks ago. Set up and take down takes like 3 seconds. Prepping my ingredients to putting the blender away can take as little as like 3 minutes if I’m doing a routine strawberry banana smoothie. It’s powerful enough to make a smooth smoothie, no random ice chunks and stuff.It has 2 blend settings and a pulse setting. I like how the blend settings pulse a few times to make sure anything thicker that gets stuck at the top gets to settle and into the blades path.Easy to clean, easy to set up. The base has little suction cups to keep it from dancing across the counter. I love that the blend cups have a lid so you can make a smoothie and just pop the blades off, throw a cap on, and walk away.

This is my second Nutri Ninja Auto IQ. I purchased my first one over 7 years ago. It worked every day. It ground up ice to make my shake every day. I was extremely happy with it, and it lasted, by today’s standards, a really long time. I am just as happy with the new one. It is much quieter and like the first one, super simple to use. Fill it, screw-on the lid, and put it in the machine, press the button. 60 seconds, and done. I grind chia seeds and flaxseed into a powder in less than 30 seconds. If you are looking for a machine that really works, the Nutri Ninja is it.

I have used my Nutri Ninja Auto IQ daily for 5 months now. I replaced a Nutri Bullit Pro, which I now know is an inferior product. It leaked every time I used it and I was forever cleaning up messes and draining the base.When my Nutri Bullit Pro motor finally burned up from all the leakage, I decided to try the Nutri Ninja. What a remarkable improvement in overall quality that I noticed the minute I set it up! More powerful motor and the container NEVER leaks. It is noisy, but I never run it for more than 10 seconds even though I am grinding up frozen fruits, dry oatmeal, flax seeds, chia, etc. The container and blades are easy to clean, I simply spray/rinse with hot water, dry lightly with towel and let air dry until next use.

I’m a long-time user of a Magic Bullet for making my protein smoothies. However, this personal blender so far outclasses that unit, it’s not even a fair fight. The additional pre-programmed settings offer a true “set and forget” environment, blending powders, frozen fruits, ice, and liquids into a perfect drink. Yes- it is a bit loud to operate, but I’ve yet to use a “quiet” blender. No other unit comes close to stacking up, performance-wise- in any price range.

Lid comes loose during blending no matter how tight it is put on and it leaks making a splatter mess. I spend much time cleaning base. Also the drinking lids are hard to get on straight. Now after 2 months it smells like sour milk. The leaks have gone inside the unit so I’m sure won’t last long.

My only complaint is that it’s LOUD. Really loud. But I don’t know if you will find a quieter blender that will do a quality job in that price range, so it’s not a deterrent.

You can’t take out the ring with bare hands. I used disposable toothpicks, but it didn’t even worked well and it was so frustrating. I bought a long and thin ear pick to take it out, and now I am finally 100% happy with this blender.- The smart blend option isn’t that helpful. It doesn’t take longer than 5-10 seconds to blend anything anyway.- Sometimes when opening the blender lid, contents squirt out by the pressure built around the rubber ring. It is just how bullet style blenders are built, and you have to deal with it.

I have to say it, this blender is a force to be reckoned with. I have been using it daily for thick loaded smoothies and it obliterates anything I feed it. In less than a minute, I’m left with a perfectly blended drink that goes down easy. It’s a single use blender, so clean-up is easy; just wash out the glass when you’re done drinking. I got this to replace my 12 year old magic bullet blender. I didn’t realize how bad my old blender was until I got this baby. I just used it to make hummus and it turned out so creamy and perfect! I also make my own seitan and use this blender to grind it up like ground beef for tacos. It grinds up a large chunk of seitan perfectly in seconds. I haven’t tried a smoothie yet, that’s next on my list.The device is larger than I thought it would be but it ended up being just right for me. The 2 cups included are a great size. I’ve only needed the smaller cup so far. Lots of people complain about how loud it is, and it is loud. But no louder than any other blender I’ve used in the past.

This blender is awesome! I have a Daily Harvest subscription and get healthy frozen smoothies delivered every week. My previous blender, bought about a year ago because it featured a to-go blending container and was relatively cheap, couldn’t tackle the frozen smoothie blending. I had to babysit it and stop it every few seconds to break up the frozen bits. The Nutri Ninja is a beast: it makes a well-blended, delicious smoothie with the touch of a button. I can walk away from it and do a task or two while it gets the job done. Sure, it’s noisy, but I got used to it quickly and the benefits of a high-powered machine far exceed the noise issue. It also has the to-go blending container so I don’t have to pour the smoothie into a separate vessel. And the design is so much better than my previous blender’s. This one’s a no-brainer. I’m a fan.

It’s still very loud, but I’ve used it to make smoothies, milkshakes, even hummus although I had to add some extra liquid to get everything blended so it’s a bit runny.Definitely very happy with this buy!!Only used it once, I’ll try to come back and update in a few months.First thing: all the reviews are right – this thing is LOUD!!! Plug your ears loud. Seriously. My toddler was scared and ran away also lolBut it’s easy to clean, suctions to your counter top. I’m looking forward to using it everyday for lunch smoothies!

We had a personal-sized blender that had started to smell and smoke. We tried a regular blender, but it was under-powered and had a heavy glass pitcher that was cumbersome to clean. We bought this Ninja at a discount because it was an open package, but it arrived in perfectly new condition. It is super easy to use, and handles everything we’ve put in it. We’re eating healthier, as we’ve discovered that we can throw in a handful of fruits and veggies (celery, cucumber and kiwi with skins on, banana, strawberries, kale or spinach, etc.) and it comes out tasty every time…our new daily treat! It’s loud, but cycles itself through one minute of different power bursts, and the results are thick and creamy every time! Can’t wait to try new combinations!

This blender is very very powerful. I have no issues blending anything that i put in it. I love that it’s a smart blender and really makes sure that everything is blended well. The only issue i have is that it’s soooooo noisy. The motor in this thing sounds like a jumbo jet. It makes it difficult to use at night when I’m trying to make a smoothie to get the remainder of my calories. I’ll wake up the entire house.

Hands down one of the best blenders, smoothie maker, protein shake etc machine around. The power on it kicks the butt of the nutribullet, which was my last one, a gift BTW, and it leaks.. I’ve referred the ninja BL480D to everyone looking for something like this. It is however on the loud side, just don’t talk on the phone when you hit the button, or put them on mute for a short time lol

I get that some people complains that it is “loud” and hell it is loud because it is POWERFUL, you can’t compare a lamborghini to a toyota corolla, It IS loud, but i had a nutribullet 600 and it was same or even louder than this one, it turns ice into snow, smoothies comes out silky and creamy and wonderful, I am really enjoying this one, and the quality? Pff it is by farrrrrrrrr greater than those nutribullet things, this one actually feels like quality lasting materials, I was really in doubt of buying because all those people that said it was incredibly loud and that they couldn’t handle it… But really give it a go and trust me you won’t be disappointed

I originally bought the Nutri Ninja Pro (BL456). When I saw this one on sale, I took a chance. And let me tell you, I only wish I would have bought it sooner. This thing does the whole smoothie / shake all by itself. It has a self blending feature so I don’t have to push it down. And it also does it all on its own with a timer so it blends the perfect smoothie all the time.

What an improvement from the old Nutribullet; the automatic blender buttons make it so easy. Smoothies, both vegetable and fruit, are the best way of consuming fresh produce. I had a kale/yogurt/prune/mixed spring greens/carrot/cherry tomato/oat bran smoothie just now and it was not only tasty but full of healthy nutrients. Later today I will have a blueberry/apple/pear/yogurt smoothie. This certainly beats cooking vegetables and preparing fruity desserts. As an eighty-three year old who has beaten cancer this spring, I need all the healthy food I can get — this blender certainly does the job. Highly recommend.

We are in a habit of making smoothies every so often. I put in milk, Greek yogurt, frozen banana, pineapple, blue berries, sometimes an ice cube, and I put in cut up dates for more sweetness. The dates can be hard for some machines. This guy does a great job. Two keys, don’t fill too full, put plenty of liquid. If the ingredients seem to get stuck there may not be enough liquid.

This Ninja works really well. I was hesitant to order it because of a lot of negative reviews. Although, I did read one intelligent man’s review which made a lot of sense and that convinced me that I should definitely give this one a try.1. Yes, It is loud when you are using it with ice. Very loud! But the results are worth it. Anyway it’s only for one minute… Cover your ears!!!2. Very easy to clean. Each part is very carefully, And conveniently, designed.3. To avoid negative results… DO NOT Ever overfill. ALWAYS clean each component completely. Make sure you let everything DRY thoroughly to Prevent mold or mustiness.4. It’s really a nice looking Appliance. It also has little suction cups underneath of it to hold it in place. A very nice feature.5. Enjoy!!! The creamiest, smoothest, smoothies!!! Absolutely no chunks of ice or pieces of fruit or vegetables. Just pure Smoothie Delight!!!

i had this old blender that i kept making excuses for. It was a pain. Finally got this little ninja thing and can’t believe i waited so long. Takes 10 seconds of blending to make the perfect smoothie. Pulverizes ice almost instantly. Love that i can use the blending cup as the drinking cup, with the included lids (2 container sizes!). very easy to clean. Suction cups on bottom of unit are super helpful. Love this thing.

This is my second Nutra Ninja, (Ran the first one into the smoothy graveyard.) Cups and lids are much improved and easier to clean and drink from. Placing the cup/blades onto the motor base is easier as simply pressing down locks it in and an indicator light confirms it. And the blending consistency is better, (Although my old one was getting pretty tired so maybe not a fair comparison!) The new one is getting a workout, blending everything from smoothies and salsa to vegan cheese, and does a great job.

Bought this as a replacement for a previous similar model. This on has Auto IQ which is nice allows me to mix, put on lid, put cup in blender, push one button and wait with the device unattended. Much better than my previous model that I had to hold the button to pule, or on the wait, watch, and turn off manually.I use this blender to make a protein shake every day, with nuts and frozen fruits which it chops and blensds well with my protein powder.

I love everything about this magical little kitchen tool! Throw away your bulky blenders that don’t actually work and do yourself a favor and get this product. There hasn’t been a day since we received Tim it that we haven’t used it (usually multiple times a day!) I adore the pulse feature which helps move things around to grab frozen items from the top but you can also push one of the two automatic buttons and walk away for 60-90 seconds and come back to your beautiful smoothie, gravy, whatever! (Also no more need for an immersion blender for soup! My only complaint is the noise for which I wear safety noise blocking hear phones.

This is a great blender for smoothies. I had a smaller, less powerful Ninja blender (BN300) that didn’t handle frozen fruits very well and had only 16oz cups that also limited it’s ability to handle frozen fruits unless you were making a very small smoothie. The BL480 has 24oz cups and a lot more power. The IQ feature is great! Just press the Blend IQ button and the blender will figure out what it needs to do – pulse, stop to let ingredients go to the bottom, start up again, etc. makes a perfect 16oz smoothie in about 45 seconds using frozen fruit.

Yes the blender may be a little bit loud but it is so powerful who cares. It is really easy to clean the blades, most of the time you can just rinse it under the sink. The best part about it that I like is that you know that it is in there when you push down and it clicks and locks it in. Others have complained about the suction cups but they really aren’t that bad, they actually will release pretty easily if you just Tip It Forward slowly.

Bought this model a few years ago and loved it until it stopped blending. Then we tried the Ninja Nutri Pro Compact Personal Blender which you have to hold down to blend. That was awful because you had to stay within arms length to activate it during the entire LOUD blending process.It’s a relief to have this model again. Just press a button to blend and walk away. Come back and your smoothie is blended to perfection! It’s powerful, easy to clean, and easy to use!

Well built. Strong blades. Easily chops through ice. 5 stars.Note: There are two IQ blend programs. These do not sense the food and blend accordingly. Each simply runs through a preset program of pulsing and blending. Both work well, but the unit is not “smart” in the sense that it senses how the food needs processed.Also, this unit is one speed only …. you can pulse, blend or run one of two programs, but they all run at the same speed. Still, an excellent unit.

We got this because we live in a van and our traditional style blender just used too much water and time to clean. We love this! My mom has the lower model and she loves hers. Works great, and so easy to clean. I usually rinse really well and then add hot water to the cup and blend it. Only really wash it with soap as needed once in awhile. This model also has suction cups on the bottom which is fantastic for us as we need it to stay put on the counter while driving! We usually pack it away during long drives but otherwise have not had an issues

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he has used it almost twice a day, every day since. It’s very sturdy and durable. Make sure you put it on a stable surface before using. We originally put it on top of our roll-away dishwasher and it was so strong that it made the entire thing shake and move around. IT has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from scooting across the counter though so that’s a good feature. I love the auto-IQ buttons. This blender does an amazing job of juicing fruits and veggies. I am impressed with the pulverization of strawberry seeds. I’m not sure why but it doesn’t seem to work as well on black berry seeds. Maybe they’re tougher? It does a great job with fibrous stuff like apples and celery. I personally like it for my keto diet because I can mix almond milk with strawberries and have a yummy treat. I haven’t had an leaking problems with the blade or lid attachments. I will say though, don’t put either attachment on too tightly or you may struggle to get it off. It seems to suction itself onto the cup. A few times I got worried that I wouldn’t be able to get the lid off. I also find all the pieces easy to clean. Overall, great product! Worth every penny!

I am so disappointed in this. I love the Ninja brand. I don’t know what’s up with this one though. It’s so loud I actually have to warn my child (admittedly he is extra sensitive) before I turn it on, so he can cover his ears or leave the room. My smoothie keeps getting up under the rubber ring, and I can’t get it clean without taking the ring out every time. I did contact the company to ask them if that was normal, and if so how do I get the rubber ring out easily without damaging it. The only way I can get it out is to stab it with a fork, and drag it out. While they were super nice, and got back to me very quickly every time, their answer was to just send me a new blade. Well that’s nice, but still doesn’t answer my question or solve my problem. The first 2 blades they sent me were for a different Ninja. When they finally sent me the one that works for what I bought I still didn’t have an answer to how the rubber ring is supposed to work with the system. Now I don’t know what happened. It leaks every time I use it, and it is hard to clean all the nooks and crannies in the base. Sometimes we can get the blade back off, and other times my husband has to get a c-clamp from the garage to get it off. I’m over it. I went out, and bought a different Ninja system. I would return this one, but my kids already destroyed and recycled the box it came in even though I tried to hide it from them. What can I say, my kid like to make forts with boxes rather than sheets. 🙂

This is a great blender cup! I use frozen berries or ice in my shakes and it chews them up like nothing. It is on the louder side but what do you expect when blending frozen items. Everything seems extremely well made. The blades are super thick and solid compared to my regular ninja blender. I would recommend it to anyone.

Works really well. I have used the original version for many years. Finally wore the lid out after thousands of uses. I like the new features. Non locking canister and the Ultra Blend. I use this three days a week after 35 mile bike rides. One frozen banana, 1/2 cup of frozen blue and raspberries, two ice cubes, protein powder and water. Blam, no chunks and smooth as silk. Made myself hungry just thinking about it.

I love this thing, its very easy to use and really blends everything really well. The only slight down side would be if you need to blend a very large amount of stuff because it doesn’t hold more than about 2-3 smoothies worth. For my needs its perfect. Much better than the other Ninja blender I tried before this which had a huge container and seemed to just toss the ingredients around. The small space in this one allows all ingredient to touch the blades and blend very smoothly. It is not a quiet blender if that is a concern. But, if a blender is quiet – it can’t be working very well!

This blender is amaze balls! It ripped right through my frozen fruits and veggies like it was nothing. What I love even more is that it still gave me the smoothie texture I love, it didn’t turn into straight juice, although I’m pretty sure it could if I wanted it to. The material is quality that the cups are made out of, the lids were a little weird to put on but nothing to complain about. This blender is pretty quick and easy to use, and its perfect for on the go. If you’re looking for a nutri bullet or single style blender this by far is one of the best choices to go with. I love this blender and would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this blender to replace a similar (but much less powerful) as seen on tv brand which had broken. My husband and I had no idea what we were missing with our previous blender of the same style. We have found this blender to be incredibly powerful and it has held up well to being used multiple times every day for shakes and smoothies. As an added bonus we have found it to be great for blending frozen drinks. The only downside is that it is quite loud, but given how powerful it is we are not put off by this in the least.
