    MCMC – January 11, 2021

We received the bed a few days ago and thought it seemed pretty well made. Fast forward less than a week and the bed already is broken! For some perspective, my sleep partner is 6’2”, 205 lbs and I’m 5’8”, 135 lbs. The bed has only had very light use so far, no hanky panky even LOL! Not one but BOTH of the welds literally came apart! It’s clearly a tack weld and there’s no reinforced weld at the seams. So disappointing as I was really looking forward to having more storage. Obviously this piece of junk is going back and I caution ANYONE before buying one of these.

I am always a bit nervous buying a bed frame because i worry it wont support both me and my girl. This one can!Us together with matress weight included is around 500lbs and it hold up just fine during sleep and other bed activities lol. The metal slats are a thin and a bit far apart which was fine for a while but then it started to bug me so we bought 1.5 in board to put between them and the matress and its perfect again!I recomend this for anyone with bed weight limit concerns!

My boyfriend and I are both of the thicker variety. He is a large man over 6 foot 400lbs and I am 250. We have been pretty rough on the frame and it holds up without an issue. Only issue I have is we have hard wood floors and I can’t figure out how to keep the frame from sliding across the floor lol. I may have to buy some rubber feet for it 😂

    PleasedPleased – January 18, 2021

I’ve had this for about 2 weeks. So far it’s been great. It looks good, it’s sturdy (so far) and it provides an incredible amount storage space beneath the bed. No creaking (so far).I use a foam mattress and based on other reviews that said the slats were spaced too far apart for a foam mattress, I bought vertical wooden slats to fit on top of the metal slats of this steel bed and it works well. The only problem I had was that one of the slots for holding the metal slats was bent. I was easily able to bend this back into place with a pair of pliers so that the slat fit. Not pleased at all by the bent slat — it could have easily created a disaster if it broke off while I was trying to fix it. However, all’s well what ends well, so I’m not taking any points off for this.

    Tampa_Dude – January 18, 2021

This is a godsend for small spaces, like a NYC apartment. Realize that 18″ is quite high. You are going to want to consider getting rid of your box spring simply because it’s going to elevate your mattress much higher than usual. I believe there is a 12″ version of this bed frame which you might want to consider if you are planning to keep your box spring. I loved this solution enough to buy another one for another room. It’s easy to assemble and solid. Make sure to follow directions and tighten the bolts (probably more than you usually would) to keep from having squeaks. We haven’t had that problem at all. Seems very well engineered. We have so much storage beneath the bed(s) now. If you are smaller than, say, 5′ 7″ this 18″ version may be too high for you if you plan on using your mattress AND box spring, unless you want to use a small step (or step stool) to get into bed. This may be a few dollars more than some others that ‘seem’ like something close. I recommend you spend the extra money because of the solid feedback many customers are giving this product.

Needed a new bed frame. Most of the low-boy basic roller frames don’t hold very well and bulge even with cross-members.I basically camped in my last apartment with the box spring on the floor. This frame? There’s NO movement. No shifting. No sagging. And I’m glad I went for the 18″ rather than one of the shorter units. It turned out to be the PERFECT height for me.You just need to be careful about where you put your feet.Kicking this thing on accident HURTS!=)

We purchased this for our spare guest room and were in shock by how much we liked it!! We just went and bought another one for our master bedroom!! It has plenty of storage underneath for smaller totes and things too!

Easy to put together by one person. Please note that the clearance from floor to bottom of the frame is closer to 16″ inches since the bar on the top of the frame is about 2″ high (in width) so it is “18 inch tall” from that standpoint. I had two storage boxes that were a little under 17 inches that will have to stay in a closet. The bench is sturdy and heavy. I have it in a bedroom with vinyl planking flooring and the bed does not move when I get in and out of bed. I am using only a foam mattress with this bed and there is no noise when anyone moves around on the bed.

    Bryan – February 19, 2021

Some specific notes on features below:PACKAGING: This product arrives in a box approximately 2 1/2 x 4 feet and it’s quite heavy – so be prepared to lug up the steps with some help if needed. It’s packed with foam pieces that are themselves packed in a plastic wrap so there’s very little mess when everything is taken out (none of those stray little pieces of Styrofoam that always seem to break off – a very nice little extra feature!ASSEMBLY: The product comes with everything required to assemble it (allen wrench, regular wrench, and screws). Those who have assembled furniture or similar things in the past will find this very easy to figure out without the instructions. Otherwise, the instructions themselves are picture-based and very straight-forward.HEIGHT: I was a little surprised at how tall this ended up being. With the the frame, a box spring, and a mattress, the entire thing ends up at waist height which requires a bit of a hop to get onto. I don’t mind this much personally, but if it bothers you, you do have the option of doing without a box spring if you have a standard spring mattress. I wasn’t willing to put my foam mattress directly on the bed slats because I would prefer to put it on a flat surface. Overall, the height does give the entire room a more airy appearance to me – because the bed is so high, light finds it’s way underneath and even bounces off the hardwood (if you have it) such that the entire room is brighter now than it was with a low, dark space under the bed.STURDINESS: The bed makes no squeaks, creaks or other sounds once assembled (assuming all the slats have fully settled into place) even with two people in it. This holds true even under the scenario you’re thinking about.

    BirdY-Q – February 19, 2021

We are 560 pounds between us, and this frame is SOLID. He argued with me about this before I bought it, saying “I WILL break the slats. I have broke every bed I ever laid in.” When our IKEA frame finally LITERALLY fell apart, I bought this. I put it together by myself in about an hour. I got a blood blister wailing the slats in, because they’re sturdy as heck and you need to slam them in with something. I used one of the slats (they’re that strong) with a pair of shirts between to protect the surface. For the last one I used a rock lol. We’ve had it about a week now and not a creek or wobble. It will outlive us. My only issue is it’s noticeably wider than the mattress by inches, and I’m hurting myself on the corners and stubbing my toes on the support bars. BUT. With that being said, I’d rather wrap them up or deal with it, because this bed is super sturdy. No more back or hip pain he’s having some issues with his back, but as for me, it solved mine. Oh and the instructions… they don’t repeat redundancies, so you have to deduce that if you do this thing to this piece, then next you have to do it to the matching pieces, etc… doesn’t explain common sense things like most directions do. Still super easy.

Comes with everything I need to put it together my 57 yr old female self. I put two together in a cpl hours. Got rid of my huge dresser and bought plastic storage baskets that slide easily under the bed. Bed is so much higher and easier to get out of. No squeaking when I move around in bed. Instructions remind you to really tighten the bolts. Could not be happier.

    G’ma – February 19, 2021

I opted for maximum height to maximize under bed storage. Be aware, if you use a box spring you may need a step stool to get into bed lol… but that’s okay!! I sleep in the clouds now.I cant stress enough how easy it was to assemble. I’m a 60 year old grandma and I put it together myself! It is EXTREMELY sturdy. Much better than I expected. Beware the high profile if you’re prone to banging into furniture. Nearly took out my knee a couple of times on the edge before I got used to navigating around it.Ita also quite elegant looking from a pure design aspect. I had intend to use it for the foam mattress without a board or box spring, but I’m not convinced the slats are close enough together to prevent the mattress from sagging a bit. For now I use the box spring on it, but I’ll be swapping it out for a board later on.

I got two of these for my teens. They are very sturdy. For some reason, my kids wanted to be “higher up”, so these frames were the answer to that. They do make bed skirts for this height, just search on Amazon. There is a lot of space underneath, which is good for smaller homes. We attached headboards. We did have to add a wooden “bar” across to get our headboards to fit. Not complicated.

    Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer – February 25, 2021

I was so excited for this bed.The package is compact and can be moved alone. The height makes for lots of underbed storage. The reviews fairly stated that this can be assembled alone.Unless, of course, yours has this manufacturers defect that prevents the support beam from fitting into place. This tiny little glob of metal (in the photo) means one of the support beams won’t snap in. This being the last step, be prepared for the heartbreak when you realize you have a 90%assembled bed taking up your bedroom, and no place for your mattress. After attempting to chisel it and force it with a hammer, I attempted to contact the manufacturer directly, with no response. Defects will happen with the way this bed is made, but I can’t express how angry I am to have a useless hunk of metal taking up my entire bedroom and hours of my time and frustration. Also, if you ever think you’re going to be able to take this back apart to move it, don’t. In my attempt to get this to be functional I discovered that the plastic bits that hold the slats in place pop off when you try to take the slats back out. I doubt it it were assembled for any length of time you would not be able to take it back apart.

When investigating this on Amazon I read through 17 pages of questions. All 17 pages were just people continually asking the same 10 questions so I will try to answer them here so you don’t need to spend an hour reading questions and answers. We bought the king bed version and are using it with a 13” memory foam mattress from Costco. This is a day one review so I will update in one month.Shipping: Weighs 59 pounds. Cardboard box is 42” x 21” x 6”. Was well packed for shipping. When ordering they were vague on when it would arrive. We ordered it on Thursday, they shipped it via UPS on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday (a day earlier than the shipping confirmation said).Assembly: The instructions are in pictograph form on one sheet of paper and are easy to understand. They are written in English but you don’t really need the words. There are six long extruded metal pieces that make up the perimeter of the bed with an eighth one that goes down the middle. The three long pieces fold open with legs. The four pieces that make up the top and bottom just bolt together with no moving parts. The instructions are simple. Just lay all the pieces out than start attaching them. The only bad part of the instructions is they named pieces “A” and “A1” (for top of bed) and “B” and “B1” (for bottom) but then the instructions say “A1*1” and “A*1” to indicate there is one of each so just read carefully. Pieces are not labeled on the metal but if you look closely at the diagram you will see the A pieces have slots to attach a headboard and the B do not. It took my wife and I less than 15 minutes to fully assemble and she could have done it herself. None of the individual pieces are heavy. By far the hardest part was lifting the mattress up onto the finished frame (a king mattress is heavy). The only hardware are two long bolts with nuts and 12 short bolts with no nuts. They give you the Allen wrench and nut wrench you need so no other tools are required. Everything was easy to attach. Lastly you snap the metal slats into their holders. Four slats have red dots that match red dots on the center of the bed. Those slots have small tongues on the end that snap into small openings on the slat holders.Slats and lip: There are 9 rectangular extruded metal slats on each side of the bed. Each slat is ½ inch wide on top and they are 8 inches apart (from the center of one slat to the center of the next). The top of the slats are ½ inch below the top of the frame. This provides a lip to hold your mattress or box spring in place and it fit our king memory foam mattress very snugly so that the mattress will NOT move.Mattress/box spring: You do not need a box spring though you can use one. The frame is 18 inches high so a box spring and mattress will be a very high bed. With our 13 inch memory foam mattress and no box spring the top of the mattress is almost 32 inches off of the floor. If you have a traditional mattress even without a box spring you can lay it right on the slats. If you have a memory foam mattress without a box spring you are supposed to put something in between to keep the foam from squeezing through the slats. You can probably use a sheet of cardboard but anything else (particle board, peg board, thin plywood) will work. If you want to put in something like that be aware the inside dimensions of that lip I mentioned are 75.5” x 79.5” so you need something slightly smaller than that. Then cut it in half to fit it in your truck or SUV for transport. My wife and I have opted NOT to put anything between our memory foam and the slats. Reading the question answers about 1/3 of memory foam owners did as we did and about 2/3 bought something to go in between. The 1/3 reported little or no problem with the memory foam leaking between the slats and so far on day one we predict very little problem.Hardwood floors: We have nice hardwood floors. All parts of the frame that touch the floor have built in plastic caps to protect your floor but my wife did not trust that so she bought small rubber squares to put under the feet. There are 9 feet in the king bed version so you will need 9 square rubber pads that are 2” x 2”.Appearance: If you do not put anything under the bed, you can go without a dust ruffle. The metal looks artistic. It is black metal with square corners (nothing is rounded). If you are going to store things under the bed, you will want to hide the frame. A traditional dust ruffle will be too short since the frame is 18 inches high. When answering one of the questions a woman said she had made fabric panels and attached them to the frame with stick on Velcro. That is what we plan to do.Quality: Once assembled is was extremely quiet. I weigh 275 pounds and the bed did not move or squeak at all when I was laying on it rolling around. If I got on all fours and shook back and forth there was an extremely minor squeak but nothing like our old bed. Most of the question answerers and reviewers said there is NO squeak even with heavy people doing the horizontal mambo.UPDATE: There is an EXTREMELY quiet squeak during the bed shaking for certain activities. I doubt anyone would hear it if they were 40 feet away. Slight disappointment but it doesn’t change my rating since almost any bed would have more of a squeak than this.

I love it so far. It was supre easy to assemble. I did it myself in about 15 mins. Only needed the two small “tools” included. Seems very sturdy and is very comfortable. I have the full size and had no problems lifting the boxed item. I looked at a lot of beds to fit my budget and I am extremely happy with my choice!

This platform bed is absolutely wonderful!!! We purchased the 18-in high bed in order to provide ample storage beneath the queen size bed in this guest room. Also, we wanted a high, platform bed for our high-quality mattress so that my elderly parents wouldn’t have difficulty getting in and out of the bed when they visit. The frame is sturdy and well made, probably much better made and higher off the floor than the other storage bed solution we originally considered, but at a quarter of the cost!!! This is a tremendous win for us in so many ways! And, you can connect a headboard as well. Just simply awesome!

We got the 18 inch California king and there were no broken parts or concerns that I saw. The bed is holding up so far, it’s pretty high so would only recommend using if you don’t use a box spring. I cut plyboad sheets to fit over the slats to help support the mattress. I’ve noticed no squeaking from the metal either but will update review if anything changes. The box is really heavy but the parts come in smaller boxes inside which are easier to carry. I’m noting this because we didn’t know and carried the entire box upstairs before realizing that we struggled for no reason. The instructions are simple and it was set up within 30 minutes. Having an extra person is super helpful.

I purchased this bed frame cause it is said the twin sized one support 1000lbs (it is the one I bought). Not sure if that is true, but as someone who’s weight changes from 200-230 on a regular basis and sometimes feels like the size of an elephant, I can say that is it really nice and stable. It also has stood up against the puppy (currently 50lbs large bread dog) who likes to take a running start before jumping on my bed.I did struggle with assembling it. Some screws went in easily and others not so much.Shipping was also really fast. It shipped on a Monday and arrived on Friday.

    Silicon Valley Dave – April 1, 2021

It’s a rare occasion that I post a review. I do so only when I am extremely impressed with a product, either positively, or negatively. This is one of those unusually great positive experiences. So what”s so great? I’ll give a few bullet points:*) Packaging was exceptional. All pieces were nicely, logically, and carefully bundled so they would not be scratched in transport. Logically means like parts were bundled together. Custom sized pieces of Styrofoam separated and cushioned all bundles. And here is a very cool thing I’ve never before seen. Each piece of foam cushion was individually encapsulated in a plastic bag so all those messy little beads were completely contained.*) All pieces are nicely finished and painted. There are no burrs or sharp edges at all.*) All required hardware and tools are provided. The only issue, a small one, I had with this entire thing is that the provided 5mm Allen wrench rounded off a bit upon final tightening of screws. Now this is something only occasionally seen. There was a separate bag of spare fasteners, one of each.*) Assembly was simple, quick, intuitively, and easy. I first assembled all parts, sans slats, by snugging up all screws and nuts, then backing off about a half turn so slight movement could take place as other fasteners were installed. I then shugges everything up. Finally I tightened each fastener quite firmly. It was during this final tightening that edges of the Allen wrench began to round off. But no problem, it lasted well enough to get even the final bolts very tight. Lastly I inserted the slats. every one went in cleanly and firmly.*) Once assembled, the frame , (mine is a queen size) was perfectly solid. It’s been in use for a week now and is working out fine. One thing I noticed is that when a fitted sheet is put on the mattress, it pulls the mattress corners really tight leaving the frame corners exposed. So far this has been no problem.

    PHX – April 4, 2021

First off it is sturdy and quiet if it is put together correctly. The tools provided are cheap but, the bed itself is well made and I have no issues with creaking or structural integrity. This is a well built product.Second I move a lot. I have a high demand job that takes me around the country. Thus, the pack up and go orders come every couple of months or years. This bed breaks down to a very small profile when it is disassembled making it easy for those of you who have to move a lot. It is also extremely easy to set up and put together. Just make sure you put the headboard attachments on the same side if you are planning on attaching a headboard because they can be installed mismatched without issueThird – 18 inches underneath a bed is a lot of storage. Part of the reason I bought this product was the hope of getting back some storage space and in that goal this thing is a work of art. I questioned how much space actually was underneath the bed and the answer is quite a bit. I can store a ton of stuff under it and that is a win for the guy who often rents cheap semi-temporary accomodations. What I dont rent in square feet this bad boy helps me reclaim some turf.I store a christmas tree, a ton of season items, seasonal clothing, suitcases, and other items that I use but not on a regular basis. The only fault I would have with this is that it is hard to find a bedskirt that extends to the floor as it is so high off of the floor. I solved this probelm by buying my own fabric and looking up some bedskirt plans online and just extending the dimensions. I am not a seamster so Its not exactly the pride and joy of my collection but nobody notices and it ends up looking just fine. I would imagine you could pay somebody who does sewing to make you a good looking one at a price comparable to buying one.Otherwise I strongly advise this product as it is

Got it assembled in under 15 minutes. I weigh over 200lbs and it holds my weight and movement just find. No sounds or wobbles. Not all the support bars are screwed in but they are well supported and don’t move like other frame slats. I’m 6 foot 1 inch and use a 12 inch mattress and this fame is just the right height for me to get in and out of bed comfortably.

The frame took nearly 45 minutes to an hour to fix. I had a friend who’sprofessional with such jobs/tasks asssit, and he found a few of the screws didn’t fit – tight and hard to thread. Some of the threads got damaged while trying to fit. Although a few extra screws are included, the manufacturer really should be including several more spares. My friend had the machine to repair the threads and re-size the screws, so were able to put them in place. Other than this struggle, the frame is well made, strong, sturdy and the storage space is unbeatable.I would recommend two people doing the assembly.

Sturdy, solid, held heavy mattress plus two not so light ppl (~550lbs total) without any sound at all during various use.

I got this bed so I could store a lot under it, as I have a lot of equipment, and trying to be as organized as possible, this is really great ! I got the extra tall one (18in) so it really has lot of room. I got one 15″x30″ “AuAg Folding Storage Ottoman” so far to try it out, and about to order a bunch more as it fits perfectly and help having things organized.Very solid bed, and yes, super silent, I move a lot and last thing I want is a noisy bed frame !

This bed is for my 8 yo daughter and we have had it for over a month now. It was easy to put together, has pleanty of space underneath for her personal things and for my 6 yo to hide under. For the price I can not complain at all. As stated in other reviews it is not the sturdiest bed available but if I was concerned about that I would have paid more.

I love this! It was easy to put together and looks great! Our old bed frame creaked and had plastic pieces in it that wore out over time. This one is all metal and quiet, no more creaking. Kind of high up, which leaves a lot of space for storage underneath. We have a thick, pillow top mattress with no box spring or platform, just placed directly on the frame.

I got this style for the extra height because I’m 5’8″ ,and also the storage underneath. I have a 14″ one on my spare bed also. I didn’t have any problems putting it together, the second one was a little easier than the first, and it’s way easier than IKEA furniture, which I’ve got alot of. So everything was great, and the little bag of emergency screws was really cool, they won me over with that! So, I have a nice headboard and footboard both, so I simply put it off-center with the left side stratled over the wood bed side rail to sit outside the frame, and my side sits inside the wood frame. I don’t think it will fit entirely inside the wood bed frame, and I didn’t want to chance breaking anything. I’m single and only see my side of the bed how the room is situated. So it works for me. No brackets needed for this.

    Peter Lewon – April 29, 2021

I spent a lot of time reading reviews on this frame and similar ones. The one common problem that concerned me most was buyers reporting that the slats supporting the mattress would just fall out. The slat supports for most of these frames are simple u-shaped metal pockets on the rails that the slats are pressed into. With no solid connection between the 2 outside support rails and the center rail, they may flex/move/separate from each other when a person places their weight upon the bed. On this frame, the 4 slats in the middle of the rail are solidly bolted to the 3 rails, thus preventing them from moving apart and dropping the supporting slats. The middle of the rail is the part most likely to move, as all three rails are hinged at that point. This was the only frame I could find with that feature, and that alone placed it at the top of my list. I’m kind of surprised that the manufacturer doesn’t make note of this as a safety feature and marketing tool. So, the storage space under the bed is great to have, it’s well engineered, it goes together easily, it’s attractive, doesn’t make noise or flex, and most importantly, the slats do NOT fall out. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

The frame is built a little too big for a standard mattress. We have a standard sized twin mattress, not small or odd-sized, just standard, and here are two pictures of how it looks on the frame. We bought the 18″ black metal frame for $127 about 2 months ago. The frame sticks out further than it needs to. It can nick your knee as you walk by. The 18″ is a little too high for me to sit on. I am short though, 5’2″. I would get the 14″ if I were doing it again. I guess the reason for the 18″ is to have storage space underneath, for a dorm room or something. For this price (not expensive), I think you get a good value.

I am 5’9 and 360ish, i have a thick boxspring ( i didnt pay attention that a boxspring wasnt needed) and thick queen mattress, it holds everything (weight) perfectly and including additional people an animals it is how ever hard for the shorter people to get on my bed because of the height from the bspring an mattress, it was the easiest frame i ever put together and also moved with, you just fold the longer pieces together and move ( some off the bars did fall out but it was easier to fix 5 bars im the middle them all of them) i put this together my self under 45 minutes. The metal is extremely thick and hard ( bust my lip while doing things so be careful ) theres only squeaks when its a lot of motion happening, theres head board attachments but check to make sure your will line up mine didnt but it was tall enough to hold the headboard up its self

If you want a really solid bed frame with extra room to put stuff underneath it get this one. I moved into a new apartment and was able to store every box I had under the king size bed frame with plenty of room to spare.Pros:-Easy to assemble in just 4 steps-Strong, high quality metal-A ton of under-bed storage space-Has pre-milled slots if you wanted to buy a headboard-Has a small pad on each of the legs so it’s less likely to scratch a wood floor-Includes everything you need to put it together, as well as spare screws-Fair priceCons:-Must be disassembled to fold up (some competitors have foldable metal bed frames, however those frames support the mattress with thin wires instead of thick metal beams like this one)

Very easy to assemble, doesn’t squeek or make any noises. I bought it for my king size ghostbed bed and had to put down some 1/4″ plywood (to not void the warranty). The slats are too far apart to just stick a mattress alone on it.I have wood floors so I put some small rubber discs down to protect the floor and keep it from moving and it works out great. Nothing moves, no noise, no leaning legs, and it looks very nice even by itself.

Received my Queen sized frame a few days ago. I had 30 minutes before I needed to head out the door to go to work ( I am a healthcare professional) and needed to assemble it so that once I got off of work ( 12 hour shift) I could shower and crawl into bed. Long story short I was able to assemble this within 15 minutes. It was very simple and no issues with parts that I could see. The metal working seems sturdy so far.My only concern and why I gave the Sturdiness rating only 4 stars currently is because I am 6 months pregnant and I was reading reviews people left about how the welding gave out at the corners or the slats broke off at the ends. I sleep in the center of the bed currently and am only abt 150lb. I will update my rating at the ending of my pregnancy in September to see how it weathers time, seeing as how the reviews that complained about bad welding and breakage of parts said that the bed frame gave out after only a month or two.So far so good…It has done wonders for storage space underneath and in providing ample support so my back and legs don’t hurt in the evenings when I get up for work. So far I love it and would highly recommend.

I purchased this in mid September, 2019. As of late January, 2020, I’d say it’s holding up nicely. It was simple enough to assemble, though I’m not sure how quick it normally takes to assemble as I was very ill at the time of assembly. But if a pneumonia-ridden millennial can do it, then you can, too! So far it seems sturdy, I’ve heard no squeaking or creaking from the frame itself (only my old worn spring mattress). I am about 250 lbs and have been sleeping on this for about 4 months with no issue. Love how much storage I have under my bed now!

This platform has blown me away. I’m a mechanic, but my bf has no building/assembly experience to speak of & after we laid all the pieces out, he pretty much pieced together the entire assembly without even looking at the instructions. Needless to say, assembly was a breeze – about 15 minutes with me and my bf joking around as we put it together. He asked during the assembly how much I paid for the base & when I told him, he was shocked. This is HALF the cost that he paid for his old, rickety WOODEN slat platform. I can’t tell you how much difference the metal slats make. The base is sturdy AF. We have a King sized, Zinus Hybrid pillow-top mattress (12″ deep) on it, & the support it gives it is UNBELIEVABLE. We were pleasantly surprised at the height of the platform; ample room to fit 12×12 (or even 15×15) cube storage boxes or roll away drawers. I crawled under this thing with ease (to pull the sheets tight, around the underside of the mattress) & that’s no easy task for someone with an H bra size! This is quality product for an amazing cost. Would definitely recommend & will definitely buy again for future rooms/beds!

I bought this to replace my broken bed frame. My old frame had metal wires similar to the Zinus Smartbase Foundation, and it lasted 2 years with the wires eventually bending, breaking, and poking out from under the frame. After some research I decided on the Olee brand and the heavy duty style because it was sturdier with more legs and better weight support. It arrived on time and in perfect condition and I was able to set it up and slide the slats into place in about 30 minutes. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it. My mattress has more support and it stays in place so I don’t have to slide it forward all the time like my last bed frame. There’s a lot of storage space to fit totes underneath, and it’s easy to disassemble and move if needed. Highly recommended.

I’ve only had it for 6 weeks but I love it! I paired it with a Zinus mattress in a box from Walmart and couldn’t be happier. All of my luggage and totes are underneath and you cant even tell. It did slide around at first on the hardwood floors but after getting an area rug I haven’t had an issue. The mattress doesn’t slide at all on the platform even when being frisky. And did I mention that I weigh about 250 pounds! I highly recommend this so far. Will update in a few months if anything changes. Update: just ordered a king size one for my brother. Everyone loves this frame!

Very strong and practically doesn’t move at all, even with a combined weight of close to 600 lbs on it (king size 18” tall). I love the height because it gives the whole bedroom a classy look with the tall bed. Plenty of space underneath to slide in bins for storage. Very quick and easy to assemble.

Just recieved, came in much faster then originally stated. Delivery guy was just a pure gentleman. Very easy set up. I ordered 2 sets. As some had posted, one bed frame was so easy to get cross bars inserted and the other I had to use a hammer to push bars down. All in all very easy. So far it seems to be very sturdy and and there is plenty of height to store bins underneath. Only dilemma I have is that the bed slides easy on rails. Maybe some velcro may help.

I don’t have to repeat all the other points made in previous reviews – I can affirm all the positive comments 100% true. What struck me was how the manufacturer extended the ease of assembly in the way everything was packaged. Critical hardware was organized on a sealed blister sheet, ensuring assembly wouldn’t be ruined by a missing screw – most kits I run across just throw everything into a small bag. They do use styrofoam blocks and sheets for shipping protection – but each of these are sealed inside plastic, so there is no need to chase down tiny white particles with a hand vac!In short, the maker really strives to make assembly as quick, painless as possible with very little cleanup.Would recommend to anybody.

The only complaint I have is that the screws could be of better quality. We were careful, but 2 of the screw heads stripped out on us during assembly/tightening. Otherwise, this seems to be a good frame with plenty of under bed storage. Oh, and also, if you’re like me and used to the old school mattress and box foundation, which is soft if you walk into it, beware of the hard metal bottom corners and the side posts. I have slammed my knee and toes a few times now. It’s just going to take time to get used to this new system.

Bed makes no noise. Husband tightened each screw individually while assembling, which helped strengthen IMOThe amount and height of the open storage space underneath comes in handy as a hiding place for our cat, and a spot to store items out of sight that I don’t want to lug up to the attic, or down to the basement. That said, this is a TALL frame. I’m 5’7″, and I have to work a bit to climb up + in. You might want to buy a small step stool to assist with that.We are close to 450 pounds together, and, I repeat, the bed makes NO noise. Worth the money, and I’ll write an updated review if/when it develops any squeaks.

I assembled this bed myself in about 45 minutes. It’s very easy to assemble with simple, well thought out instructions. The bed is very sturdy, I am 6′ tall and I weigh 275lbs and I have no concerns for stability. I never hear any creaking or squeaking, and it supports my 14″ thick Hybrid mattress like a dream! I must say the best part is the height. I have a shoulder injury that makes getting up from anything low to the ground extremely painful. I NEEDED a bed that was high enough that I can get in and out laterally and this is it!An unexpected bonus is the amount of space it has given me for storage! My house is pretty small and storage space has always been a problem. Well, I just picked up 33 square feet (it’s actually close to 46 cubic feet of space due to the height) of space for under bed storage!I have an old Ikea headboard and it bolted right up to the new frame. I did end up having to buy two sets of legs to attach to my night stands to bring them up to the same height as the bed, but I like the look! All in all, if you are on the fence about this one TAKE THE LEAP! This bed frame is well worth twice the price.

I bought this bed in June 2020, it’s now January 2021. I just rotated my mattress the other day.I put this bed together on my own in a couple hours. It took a couple of hours because I kept taking breaks, LOL! I think if I’d just worked right through, it’d have been an hour, tops. I sleep on this bed every night, it never makes noise, and I am so glad I bought it.I purchased some wooden slats to make the mattress a little more comfortable on the bed and so I wouldn’t feel like I was sleeping on metal slats. Worked like a charm! Budget friendly, easy to put together, and comfortable. I could not be happier!

For the price, this is a great investment, and I love the fact that no box spring is required. I would recommend this bed frame to anyone wanting a nice STURDY frame for their mattress. I read the negative reviews first and tried to keep an open mind. The only draw back is the instructions aren’t 100% detailed so you’ll have to guess, not hard though. I don’t see any other issues based on my experience with assembly and quality. I bought this for mom as she’s kind of a big gal and needed something to support her weight. It certainly stands tall off the floor…18″ is a bit more than I really expected but what drew me to this out of so many others I looked at was a guy stating that he was 6’5 and 377 pounds and not a single squeak came from the frame. Well I’m 5’8 and 270 and move around a lot. Not only has this bed frame not peeped a single noise while building it but still hasn’t a month later Super well designed, sturdy and quiet. Its worth the extra 30 bucks over the cheaper ones. Mattress stays in place. Again, this is very high off the ground. I matched it with a Zinus 14″ memory foam/coil/pillow-topper king mattress and couldn’t be happier. Bunches of storage space underneath. very happy!

I love this bed frame! I had one similar to this in college and haven’t been able to find one with as much a storage space since. I also don’t like boxsprings and wanted to just stick with a nice mattress. It looks exactly as pictured and I keep all of my luggage and plastic bins for out of season clothes underneath it. Two carry-on suitcases can be stacked if that helps.I was able to put it together by myself in 29 minutes. Yes, I timed it without going unnecessarily fast but with enough speed to get back to work on time. The seller was excellent and I have been telling all of my friends and family to buy from Granted. UPS lost my frame when I had it sent to the customer care center. The person in the warehouse had the nerve to look shocked and ask me “How they could have lost something this large?” He was hoping that they’d lost a CD or something small when two of his workers came back empty-handed. They had me call back everyday instead of driving 45 mins to get there. I called the 800 number towards the end of the week and was informed that it was sent back since I never went to pick it up. I called the seller and they went out of their way to have it sent back immediately and I was sleeping soundly a day and a half later.I might just buy bed frames for everyone this Christmas.

Very easy to put together and exceptionally strong, stable and comfortable…best money I have spent in a long time on a product. I will be buying one for the guest bedroom and loose another metal frame and box spring and gain more under bed storage – living in a small house extra storage is a great thing! There is only one minor annoyance…the frame is a bit wider and longer than a box spring and mattress measurement, which means my bedskirt does not fit…not a huge problem for me because I have the ability of making a 18″ deep bed skirt and I will then attach it using velcro on the bed frame.

My son liked the look of platform bed frames. But he is a really big guy (6’4″ and built like a barn door). We were delighted to find a frame that was taller and not so far that he has to stoop way down to sit on it. The heavy duty construction of this frame is perfect and he is able to store a lot underneath his bed. Perfect! Great value for the money and it is REALLY sturdy. Fast shipping and excellent packaging. Even though the box tore a bit the inside packaging kept all the pieces inside.

Yes it is very easy to put together. I would recommend 2 people though if you are older, or on the weaker side, only because the pieces could be considered heavy. The direction recommend an electric driver to get the r screws as tight as possible. I didn’t use th e little metal wrench. If you hold the nut and hand screw the bolt until finger tight, then finish off with a driver or included Allen wrenches, you’ll be fine. As for the storage underneath, it’s very impressive. Also will make it very easy to clean underneath. As for its sturdiness….oh yeah. There should be absolutely no issues with that. I got this for about 100 dollars less the the frame I sent back. I really liked the look of it, but it came crashing down after about two weeks. I foresee no such issue with this frame at all. No squeaks as described. Just make sure to get ALL the screws as tight as possible and you should be squeak-less as well. I will edit after a few nights of sleep to give my final thoughts. But for right now 5*!EDIT: A couple nights sleep on this frame with a heavy 14 inch memory foam mattress and an additional 400 lbs worth of 2 people tells me this frame is rock solid. Absolutely worth every penny.

The frame is easy to assemble and the instructions are easy to follow. One caution is that some pieces look similar to one another so be sure to look at both sides of the instructions before beginning assembly so that you can discriminate among them. I hand-tightened all of the bolts until the frame was completely assembled and then went back through all of them tightening them more each time until all were securely fastened. Absolutely no squeaks or sounds of any kind from the frame because of the progressive bolt tightening. One caveat when assembling is that the cross members have a lip on one side that slides down into a slot on the center cross rail and you need to make sure that these lock into place. Extremely rigid, sturdy and noiseless when correctly assembled. Well-designed and manufactured.

This bed frame is AWESOME! Not only is the bed frame everything and more than I hoped, but the way the company packaged it was the best part! Styrofoam is the devil, like worse than nails on a chalk board, like the most absolutely terrible thing known to mankind! This company not only limited the amount of styrofoam, but the sheets of styrofoam that it had in it were individually wrapped in plastic! YES, you read that right, I.N.D.I.V.I.D.U.A.L.L.Y W.R.A.P.P.E.D.!! I know that it’s just another thing that will end up in a landfill, etc. etc. But seriously, my ears/brain GREATLY appreciated the extra effort!! A++++! Also, my 215 lb husband stood on a dresser and body slammed the bed to test the sturdiness of the frame and it didn’t even flex! The space for storage underneath is fantastic as well! 18″ height means you can fit most storage bins under the bed. easy to assemble. not sure why the other reviews are claiming it broke; their photos don’t even look like this frame. the only parts that could “break” are the C-shaped supports that are doubled-up on the head and foot of the frame.one nice feature that isn’t mentioned in the description is holes for mounting a headboard.

So I put this in my tiny home…. completely gutted and remodeled 30ft camper trailer. So other than the camper door you literally have no idea this once was a camper inside. One of the things that was a must go for a long time was the crappy camper bed base made out of flimsy mdf board. It caused the previous 2 mattresses I bought to sink in the middle. No matter how i tried to brace it with 2×4’s or anything else… it never worked when it came to proper support. So I have had this bed frame in my cart till recently. I purchased a new mattress (3rd one) back in Feb. Fast forward to June when I finally had it with the wood bed frame. It caved in so much the mattress was like a taco with me in the middle lmao. So I got this bed frame and it fits the mattress perfect. There is an inch or two remaining on the frame for I’m guessing those other full mattresses that may be on the larger side. I’m completely happy there isn’t bowing in the middle, and is sturdy. I just love the fact that I’m no longer sinking in the bed. The mattress is perfectly firm because of this frame like it’s suppose to be. The storage space underneath is so much easier to access than the old bed base I had. Only thing that is a negative is that it is larger in size than the previous one I had so I tend to run into more often lmao….. but that will take some time to remember “nope don’t walk that far” lol. So maybe in tiny spaces this bed frame is not for you. For me though I have been able to build nice size wooden boxes on wheels for clothing and shoes to use as a replacement for a dresser. And then closer to the wall i have plenty of storage for things I don’t always need to get to like Christmas supplies or my fishing gear. This bed is so easy to put together and I had it unpacked and together in less than 30mins. I may end up reconfiguring the frame to be mounted on the front wall of the trailer but thats a minor adjustment and nothing too crazy. When I get around to it I will definitely post pics for others living tiny like i am.

Edit: 2 years later, it doesnt squeak anymore. It hasnt dented, its still holding strong. I do recommend a boxspring or bunkie board if youre heavy, though, because our mattress did start puffing through the slats a bit and got saggy, but a bunkie board fixed that right up. Still love this bedframe. 10/10 buy it.I’m about 300 pounds and my boyfriend is about 140, and the mattress is probably another 50 pounds. This holds up well and hasn’t started to break or anything yet (had it about a month). It DOES squeak tho, especially during sexy time, which worries me. Everything is still screwed in nicely tho and there’s no sagging, but I’ll definitely update if any of that changes.

Love it! Easy to assemble, very well packaged, good instructions. I was able to move the box into the bedroom by myself (average sized female) and assembly couldn’t have been easier. Hint: don’t tighten all the screws completely until it’s put together and squared up, then tighten each one. This goes for most assembled items. Your life will be easier.I love the 18″ of storage space below the bed! My hubby and I are active and hobbyists and have diving gear, ski equipment, and crafting/sewing supplies to store. This was perfect for us.Some things to keep in mind: your mattress thickness. We have a solid foam mattress, which we love, but it’s rather thin compared to most of today’s mattresses. It looked too low on the frame. Using the old wood box springs, it took a running jump to get into the bed and was way too high. Feeling like Goldilocks now, I ordered a 4″ low-profile metal folding foundation which nested perfectly in this platform bed frame, gave added support to our mattress (not a design flaw of this platform bed, just needed with our mattress type), and gave us exactly the height we wanted. This platform bed is sturdy, no squeaking like the old wooden bed and box springs, easy as pie to disassemble and move when it’s time and I can choose whatever headboard I want (or not at all). I’ll never go back to traditional beds after using platforms like this.FYI: One more thing… This bed has a middle support leg on either side, which is great, except if you’re a little clumsy like me. I kept stubbing my toes on this leg hidden under my bedskirt, so I used that grey cylindrical foam pipe insulation you can get at any home improvement store for a couple bucks. It cuts easily with a knife. I cut 12″ lengths and wrapped one around each of the offending support legs an no more stubbed toes! About a 1 minute project if you have the pipe insulation on hand.We liked this bed frame so much, we ordered another one for our guest room. More storage!!

We’ve only slept on it 2 nights, so I can only comment that we haven’t crashed yet (and I really don’t think that we will). BUT I can say that assembling the frame was a breeze! Took about 45 minutes and the majority of that time was trying to get my cats to stop helping. The parts were packaged SO WELL, that the cats couldn’t even steal the screws from their safety package. My husband said it’s like sleeping in a treehouse minus the tree! He asked for the tallest frame I could find (he’s 6’4″) and I wanted as much storage capacity as possible, so for once, we agreed on something.

I like everything about it! It wasn’t hard to put together, but due to having had cancer, my strength is not what it use to be and there were about 4 of the crossbars that I couldn’t get all the way down by myself, so my daughter did it for me. I love the bed…it s extremely comfortable and I cannot feel the metal bars. It’s also extremely sturdy and there’s plenty of room underneath…so much so that my granddaughter loves to run and hide under my bed and read lol I would love to have more of these. I have one bedroom that I most likely will purchase another for. Definitely worth every cent!

Excellent bedframe. I use it from my purple which is a 4 inch mattress so the height is just right. We love having the extra space underneath for storage. It has never squeaked. It looks fantastic with our headboard.I love the little lip around the edge so the mattress doesn’t slide off. I did put a thin bass over the slats to distribute the weight of the mattress better than just having it on the slats.

Best bed ever!!!! Took 15 minutes to put together, threw some pegboard on top and attached with zip ties, then put a Resort Sleep cooling memory foam mattress on top. Best sleep I’ve gotten in 3 years or more. Even the 90 lb. dog jumping on the bed didn’t disrupt me. The frame is super sturdy, no noise at all, and tons of storage!!!!! Best money I’ve ever spent!

For years I had a wooden platform bed that I loved, but it often creaked and squeaked. Finally I decided to buy another platform bed and chose this one because of the good reviews and the price. This is one of the best furniture buys that I’ve made. It’s super sturdy, has 18 inches of space underneath for my storage bins, and it doesn’t make any noise at every movement. Two thumbs up!

I was pleasently surprised by how sturdy this is. When I was putting this together I was a bit put off but the flimsy appearance of the frame but after putting everything together it is really sturdy.Assembly was really quick. Maybe 20 minutes or so.Last but not least. It’s. So. Tall. Like I knew it was a tall frame which is what I was looking for but this is huge. I’m 6’2 and with my matress and box spring it all comes up to a little above my waist. The only real change I would recommend is that you add something between the matress and the frame to keep the edges from slipping under the support bars.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews, but I love this product so much that I decided to take the time. I ordered 2 twin sized frames for my 2 sons who are going to be sharing a room. The bed was packed very securely, and was stunned by how easy it was to put together. You screw the frame together with 8 small bolts (provided, along with an Allen wrench), then pop in the support slats. It took me less than 30 minutes, and I am not handy. The bed feels rock solid, and there is enough of a lip (if that’s the right word) around the frame to keep the mattress from sliding around too much. I love how tall the frame is–we have very limited space, and can easily fit larger plastic bins under the bed. I will probably get some pool noodles to wrap around the legs, as I can foresee all of us bumping our feet on the legs (we are clumsy folk). I just ordered a 3rd bed for my other son’s room!

The short answer: this bed frame is the absolute best and has exceeded expectation. It is completely solid and noise-free, even after 18 months of use. 10/10 recommend.Long answer: I have had this frame (queen size) for a year and a half now and am more than impressed with it. Upgrading to a king size bed, and I like this frame so much I ordered another one for the new bed.I got this one because of the hefty 2,000-lb weight rating and the extra-tall height (most of the bed frames I found at the time were only 12-14” so the 18” stood out to me). Side note: I am one of THOSE people who spends ungodly amounts of time obsessively researching all options and reading reviews before purchasing literally anything. My previous bed frame was a $50 folding one (14” tall) from WalMart which was rated for 1,200 lbs and claimed to be squeak-free. It lives up to those claims for about a year before it started breaking and making lots of noise, despite never coming anywhere close to the maximum load capacity (max load ever was under 800, daily load 95% of the time was under 400). Also, while it did offer convenient under bed storage space, it had diagonal supports for the legs, as folding bed frames tend to have. This limited the usable storage space to about half of the actual space under the bed, so that was kind of a bummer. Even more limited space once it started breaking and sagging. In contrast, THIS bed frame has been used under the same load conditions (and even now has an extra 200 lbs on it daily with the fiancé) and is just as quiet and structurally sound as the day I got it. No signs of wear whatsoever.Storage capacity is maximized because all the legs are vertical. Coupled with the extra height over the average platform of 12-14”, I have more under bed storage than I’ll probably ever need. One word of caution, as other reviewers have said, since the outer legs are on the border of the bed rather than underneath, it’s super easy to stub your toe on them, which hurts of course. I haven’t added foam padding to the legs yet to minimize it, but I probably will once I make a bed skirt to cover it up.Another thing to note about this review: I cannot really comment on the slats, as I built a 3/4” thick plywood slab to nest in the indent of the bed frame as a perfectly flat and solid support for my memory foam mattress. I would highly recommend doing this, especially if you’re heavier like me, as we bigger folks will sink lower into any mattress, possibly creating pressure points (which could cause discomfort or maybe even undue wear on certain slats).Pro tip: If you do opt for the plywood slab, the top of the 3/4” thickness will sit flush with the edge of the bed frame, so I would “upholster” the plywood with a large size rug gripping pad to keep your mattress from sliding out of place. I see them all the time at thrift shops, or you can get one on Amazon for under $20. I just folded the edges under and used a cheap staple gun to secure all around. Works like a charm, and the plywood is a total game-changer if you have a softer mattress. Also, have used it mostly on carpet but also on tile and concrete floors. Completely solid on all surfaces.

I purchased this bed frame for an Inofia 12″ Mattress in a Box that I also ordered on Amazon. I normally wouldn’t have ordered an 18″ high bed frame for a 12′ high mattress, however, I needed the extra space under the bed so my dogs could comfortable walk under it and it gave them a rather large area to sleep and lounge around in.The bed frame is extremely well packaged and a bit on the heavy side. I especially liked that all of the needed screws, bolts, washers, and wrenches were vacuumed sealed and labeled on a sturdy pieced of cardboard. they even included a few extra each in case they were needed. The directions were very easy to follow and the frame can easily be assembled by one person.Every part of this bed frame was well thought out and the packaging, directions, and the labeling of the parts were executed extremely well. Kudos to the manufacturer for a great product.

Product arrived swiftly once shipped. I elected to go with free shipping and have no regrets for it. It wasn’t an emergency need. It arrived with no damage, not even a single flaw or scratch with all necessary tools and instructions and one extra of every kind of screw and nut needed. It is a very tall bedframe. It might turn out to be taller than some think. If I had a boxspring I would need to have a stepladder or gymnastics springboard to get on the bed. I would have to do a backflip or somersault or a diving jump to get on the bed if I had a boxspring. Personally it turns out a 16″ or 14 ” would have been alright. It is what it is and it’s an excellent product. It is plenty strong. I like it has middle legs support and not just left and right like some bedframes do. There is definitely room to store and hide things under it. Five stars for sturdiness, ease of assembly and the condition it arrived in.

This bed frame is great. I read all the negative reviews and almost didn’t order it. Glad I did. I and my 7 year old put it together. I did have my husband tighten the screws when he got home to make sure they were tight. It hasn’t made a sound or moved even a little bit. My husband is 275 pounds and he loves it also. Great storage underneath. I did put bunkie boards under my mattress since it was just a memory foam mattress. I would recommend doing this. I worried about stubbing my toes but it hasn’t been an issue yet. If it becomes one I will put pipe insulation sleeves around them. They come in black and would work well. No problems or issues. I will try and remember to update or if I have an issue I will report back. It’s been over a week so far with zero issues.

The assembly was one of the easiest that I’ve had in quote some time. It took about 45 minutes to fully assemble. My #Chita queen mattress in a bag went onto nicely; no sliding or squeaking. I’m glad that I went with the 18″ height. Paired with the 12″ mattress, the entire bed is the perfect height for my guests.Only weird thing was the need for a special delivery. The mattress was heavier than the box for the frame.

This was an awesome purchase. We recently moved from a Studio to 1bed after getting married. Though we got additional closet space. I still wanted to be efficient with the space utilization.Space:We upgraded from full size bed to a queen bed. Got a great queen headboard. And was looking for a frame to go with it with space under. I chose 18′ but kept fearing maybe it was too tall. Honestly 16′ would have been sufficient for our need. But 18′ makes it easy to slip in stuffed large suitcases easily. Fitted 8 of them under the bed.Non Foldable:Unlike other foldable frames this bed doesn’t have additional inclined bars for truss support, so you get more space to put in taller stuff.Assembling:Assembling at first seemed intimidating, but once I found the instructions guide, it was easy peasy.Make:This is a 20kgs+ frame. So feels sturdy. Haven’t heard a single Creek after sleeping and any other actions. We ended up ordering a bed skirt, which may not fit well as it does not have a box spring to fit on to, but still it looks good overall and hides the suitcases underneath completely.

I have a king size bed and this is a huge space saver and a completely efficient way to store items I don’t use all year. I’m in an apartment and I don’t have a ton of space. So this makes sense for me and I do recommend if you’re looking to have storage space in your room. My dachshund also loves taking his toys under the bed now and playing in his safe space. It’s pretty funny how it’s helped both of us.

We got a new mattress, one of the ones that come in a box, best mattress we have ever owned and it was under $400 FOR A KING!!! I digress.Because we were moving we didn’t but a bed set and just had it on the floor. I’m 50, and far from college dorm days.We needed to do something and this looked like a good option with the added benefit of using the space below for storage.Arrives, put it together and was a little surprised at how high it was. Not bad thing but guess when you are sleeping just off the floor it is an adjustment. Several months now and we love it. Great quality and the new puppy takes laps under it (added bones of wearing the terrorist out).We are buy a second one for our guest bedroom.

I LOVE this frame. Idk why people are complaining. I understand if they received the shipment and it was missing parts or parts were warped but other than that, it’s really exactly what it says it is. I don’t think someone who wants to have nights of passion should get this frame. They should stop being cheap and get a frame that’s going to cost much more. I thought that was obvious based on the price. I don’t think someone heavier should go this route either. It’s only $112 frame. Why are folks thinking this is some luxury bedframe from Restoration Hardware. I’m most. It’s a fantastic bedframe for the price. I’m 32. 5’3” and 110lbs and I love it. I PUT IT TOGETHER BY MYSELF WITH EASE. It will take a little longer but folks need to be GENTLE when assembling. Instead of pressing down on the bars to set them in place, I PULLED the frame from the bottom upwards. That way I wasn’t compromising the bars.

I buy these for my rental units. Used by college students. Bought full size and twin. I don’t have complaints about noise like the regular beds with box springs. You only need a mattress. We do put plywood between the mattress and box spring to prevent the mattress to seep in-between the cross bars.I’ve used these for years and haven’t replaced one yet.Great buy for the price.Very easy to put together. If I can do it – anyone can.College students have more storage under bed because it’s so high.

I have been getting back problems due to our bed caving in when my boyfriend is in the bed with me and although we had a frame and box spring before. This frame came on time and I was able to assemble it with ease by myself took me maybe 45 minutes. This has completely solved my problems no caving and it’s so supportive with no squeaking. There is ample room for storage as well. Keep in mind it is already high off the ground so if you have a 14” mattress you might need a step stool.

We have had this bed frame for a few months now. The storage space for it is great! There is enough space under the bed for not just storage but for my kids to chill under there (I know we have weird kids) and for my dogs to sleep. After a few months of having it though we have noticed when you go to lay down it does squeak, there is nothing for us to tighten or loosen for it to stop and we have tried everything to stop it but it still does it. We have just learned to live with it. Its not bad, but is noticeable. I really do despite the noise recommend this bed frame for space if you are limited on it and need extra space like we did.

This is 18” tall which is what I needed to store boxes underneath. I have a small townhome and was looking for somewhere to store boxes and get them out of my closet. I have knee and hip arthritis and also needed a frame tall enough to get out of bed easier than from a short bed. I put my walmart mattress in a box and memory foam topper on it and they fit great. It was relatively easy to put together, well made and sturdy. The only thing I don’t like is the sharp, square corners. The first night I hit my knee on it. Needless to say, now I am very careful. My daughter paid almost as much for a different frame several months ago and hers already broke. After seeing how well made mine is, she is replacing hers with this one.

This bed frame has completely changed my bedroom in all positive ways! First, it’s so comfortable with my memory foam bed that I’m actually having trouble getting out of it every morning because it is so comfortable. The height is perfect as I love a tall bed but it’s still low enough that I don’t have to literally climb into bed with my 12″ mattress. Under the bed, I can fit every storage bin that I own, even the big ones. It has given me a whole new bedroom!Assembly was a piece of cake. The frame is very sturdy and doesn’t squeak at all. Passes all the bedroom activities tests. Highly recommend. Will probably buy another soon for the guest room.

We recently ditched our expensive hybrid mattress for a Vibe 12″ memory foam mattress from Amazon, but kept the original frame and box springs. I suggested a platform frame to give us added storage and picked this 18″ model. Not only does it give us so much more added storage(clearing out clutter from closet, and finally somewhere for all my board games), but the bed now clears the wall outlet and even gives a decent space to put a pet bed for our cats. While I did add small heavy duty cardboard pieces on top the slats(just to reduce strain on the foam), the mattress feels even more amazing compared to being on the box springs! More supportive!Construction was simple and instructions easy to follow. The frame is made of divided head and foot sections screwed together…easy to be a foot safety issue. I used a few caps from a wire closet shelf kit to cover the exposed ends of the screws. Also will be making corner pads from a pool noodle, as the frame is at knee level and walking space around the bed is tight in general. While I didn’t have an issue figuring it out, the part packet should have the parts labeled for the different size screws. I give a perfect score because all additions and upgrades are because of my individual needs and don’t reflect on the product in any major way.UPDATE: ended up making padding for the legs and corners from foam wrap and sample ultraleather from a boat upholstery company that I found at a local reuse store. Used a baseball stitch to enclose the seams. Now no more stubbing our toes or banging our knees.

I love our new steel bed frame, and that I have plenty of room for storage underneath is a great bonus. One reason why I bought the 18 inch height so I could fit storage bins and storage tubs under it to maximize room space. This was pretty easy to assemble just know that the slates at the top will require you to use a rubber mallet to get them all the way in the grooves, it is a very snug fit.It took about an hour to assemble, I was putting it together by myself so it might go faster with two people assembling. Easy instructions, just bulky when you have a queen size frame and only two hands.

That $600 bed was the WORST purchase of my 32 years! It was particle board and started fallling apart upon assembly!!!! It lasted 4 months before I finally trashed the trash. I waited several months to write this review to make sure I had used it long enough. I bought this frame to go with a memory foam mattress. I wanted a tall frame since memory foam mattresses are thinner than regular matresses. It is the perfect height with my 11in mattress on it. Putting it together was simpler than I thought it would be. I was able to assemble it in about 45 minutes by myself. It would go significantly faster with two people. The frame is silent and I never hear any noise from it. There is a crazy amount of storage room under the bed. I apologize in advance if this is too much info..warning….explicit reviewThe bed shipped very quickly and was packaged very nicely. The instructions were very clear and setting this bed up was so easy, my 6 year old could’ve done it, honestly. I would give this bed 5 stars just for the packaging/setup/overall quality of the frame.I’ve only had this bed set up for a little over a week now, so I can’t say as to how long it will last but it seems to be really sturdy for sleeping. It is solid, looks nice and the height for storage underneath is good for anyone living in a small space and you need more room to store things! UPDATE:::So….my entire house is hard wood floors, including all bedrooms. Having said that, you probably need a carpet if you share a bed with someone you get busy with. This bed DOES make noise when doing the deed. A LOT of noise, it’s most definitely the loudest bed I’ve ever slept on. We don’t really even have to be doing much, simply changing positions when sleeping is enough to make this bed squeak. Not only that, but the bed ended up moving across the room…every single time! As if the noise and bedroom tour provided by this bed wasn’t enough to keep us in the mood, the mattress slides right off the bed when playing in it. Half the bed literally was off the frame, again, every single time. There is nothing we can do to keep the mattress in place except get some of those safety rails for kids. There is a VERY SLIGHT raise on all four sides but nothing that would keep a bed on the frame. Even when I make the bed, if I rub against it, the mattress slides around. I read all of the reviews on this bed before I bought it and many people said it was quiet and sturdy enough for people of 300+ lbs AND for doing the no pants dance…no offense, but they must not be doing it right because this bed moves all over if you’re moving in it. There is not a lot of weight on this bed from us, which might be a contributing factor, I am 5’2 130 lbs and my husband is 6”1’ 180 lbs…I thought I was saving money by buying this frame but now I have to go and buy a rug to fit under the whole frame, and rugs are not cheap!! If it wasn’t for that (which for us is a HUGE problem) this bed would be awesome!! If you don’t get overly into your horizontal polka then this bed might work for you…but for us it’s ridiculous!!! We haven’t used it for shellacking the canoe since mishap #4 :/Now the frame itself is off in size, mattresses do not fit on this frame. I bought a queen size for us, mattress was too small. Bought a twin size for one of our children, mattress was too small for that. I bought a new mattress and it was too small for the frame still. After having it a year, I’m on Amazon looking for a new frame. It’s too loud, doesn’t stay put. The ONLY good thing about this bed is it is tall enough to keep storage bins under it. That’s the ONLY plus. I buy A LOT on Amazon, this is something I won’t be buying again.

I’ve been using this frame for two days and wanted to give a quick review of it. The assembly was literally painless. The instructions were spot on and I assembled the frame solo in around 30 mins. The amount of storage created by using this bed frame is simply gargantuan. I can put entire lidded plastic containers underneath without worry or them looking out of place. Bed room tidier than ever.I only have one concern about the frame. The metal slats are capped in plastic on both ends. I’m afraid of what may happen if the caps either degrade or are broken off by weight, movement, etc. So far, this thing doesn’t make a sound when the missus and I get on it. I don’t know how long that’ll last of the slats begin losing their plastic caps. I’ll continue to monitor this a adjust my review accordingly in a few months. For now, I thoroughly recommend this frame and would purchase it again in a heartbeat!

Update- over 1 year later and I’m gonna eat my words with a smile on my face. This bed frame has been sturdy with no surprises. It hasn’t made noise or loosened. It’s as sturdy as the day I assembled it. As for the edges that used to protrude, my bed has gradually expanded to cover the exposed metal. Science, I guess. I’m buying another frame now for my mom BUT now I know better than to get the tallest option. That was my only mistake, getting a frame so tall I need a step stool to get up. So I’m changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars cause I like it when I buy things that actually work.*********This frame is fairly simple but tedious to assemble. It’s a jigsaw puzzle with all the little rods. It took about 35-40 minutes to assemble by myself. It does raise the bed high to where I’ll need to take a running start to hop up on the bed (I’m 5’4). Nothing to be super excited about, it serves it’s purpose for now. Having already had a similar bed frame I’m pretty skeptical and untrusting. This one is held by 2 long screws and 8 smaller ones. Common sense they will loosen little by little with time and will need to be tightened. The weight of the mattress and myself seems too much for these metal rods but I’m no engineer and I’m sure if it’s working for other people it will work fine for me. Too early to know if it will break under me while I’m dead asleep but if it does I’ll be back. Also, my queen mattress doesn’t cover the frame sticking out. I have to be careful of hitting or scraping against the metal while getting in and out. Im surprised the ratings are so high.

First off, I was super hesitant based on reviews. But someone’s lengthy review made me go with it and I’m sooo glad that I did!The box comes small, made me anxious BUT it’s well packaged, simple instructions and packaged items needed. The two longer pieces open up, they slide into the head and footing parts. You screw in about 12 screws and that part is done. The slats snap into place very easily (my 5 year old son with able to do them while I did the rest)The entire setup took maybe 25 minutes MAX. And most of that was unboxing it.Seems pretty sturdy(will update review in a month if not) MORE room under for storage than they give credit for. That’s probably the best part!Overall, I’m completely satisfied and glad I went with this one!

Slept on it that night.Solid, sturdy, does not move nor squeek. If I had any complaint, is when no one is in the bed and you sit on the edge of the mattress, it can slip over just an inch or two.Thank you for a lovely product.

Happy with this frame. Sturdy, easy to assemble. Mattress sits well on top. I ordered toe protectors & corner protectors as well which fit perfectly with this frame.

This is a great frame! It doesn’t make any noise (we bought a king size) and it’s made of thick steel. I had read reviews that the cross braces break and you wind up falling on the floor. I think the reviewers may have hammered the cross braces in too hard during assembly. The cross braces slide down into welds so make sure you use a rubber mallet and do not beat them down and break the welds. Couldn’t be happier!!

Our package did not come with instructions, nor did it come with labels on anything. It took a lot longer than it should have to put together, but this is by far the single sturdiest bed frame I’ve ever encountered. It gets a 5 stars because Amazon gave me a courtesy credit to combat the extra hour to decipher how everything worked.I HIGHLY recommend this bed, so long as you get the instructions. Even without them, this frame is superb. My wife and I are a combined 450 pounds without ANY issue what-so-ever. We wanted to see if there was any give, so we also had my parents lay on it while we did. Easily 900 pounds without a creak, a grump, or anything. This frame is rock solid as they come.

First of all the description says, “The frame encloses the mattress to prevent slipping”. NO IT DOESNT! My mattress slips all around and off this frame especially when getting in and out of bed. There’s less than an inch drop from the side frame to the bar slats. But, in spite of that part being incorrect I still like the frame. Another issue is to make sure you have a THICK mattress. Now I know why the 8 inch mattress was paired with this in youtube videos. If you are using the regular 4″ mattresses you WILL feel all the bars. Especially the middle support bar. I’m 5′ 10″ and it hits me right in the hip. But…. I had planned to add another 4″ mattress anyway so I’m guessing then I won’t feel the bars. I’ll have to make due until next month when I get the second mattress. The frame is very pretty but also very slippery lol. I weigh 200 pounds and it holds my weight just fine. It’s very sturdy. I’m 63 and have a hard time getting around but I put this together in about 15 minutes. It’s very simple and very easy. 8 screws and slide the slats in. Very simple. I’m glad I got the 18 inch. It’s a comfortable height to get up from with bad knees.

Finally upgraded from a queen to a king so the puppers wouldn’t crowd us off the bed. Two 80lb dogs in a queen just doesn’t quite work. Found this frame for a reasonable price and assembled it in less than 20 minutes. We really enjoy the sturdy steel tubing and how much storage space underneath for tall bins. We had one of these styles before for the queen but it had wood slats instead and one wrong kneeling entry broke them. They would also move around a lot as well despite being tied in. No the metal slats with their slotted holding braces really lock this thing in place.

Great sturdy frame, and very easy to assemble. I was a little scared by some of the reviews, but after receiving the product and setting it up myself (which is easily done correctly as long as you actually look at the directions and pay attention to what it says instead of just glancing at pictures) I have to say I have no idea what anyone else is talking about. The main problem reported seemed to be with the smallest slats falling out, but if you read the directions it clearly tells you how to put them in so that the sturdy metal ends lock into place in the slats in the metal brackets. The only plastic anywhere on the whole bed is the little caps on the bottom of legs to keep it from scraping the floor, so I have to believe any claims about cheat plastic brackets were about the wrong product. This bed is sturdy and it gives enough space underneath that I can fin full size Rubbermaid storage bins, which was the major reason that I wanted this frame. Definitely a great purchase that I would recommend to anyone looking to open up more storage space under their bed without sacrificing stability.

This frame is straightforward, sturdy, and spacious.Assembly is a breeze, som uch so I didn’t even need instructions. The frame is sturdy; enough that it held me, at 200 pounds, and my partner at 170 pounds, without any flex or give. The spacious nature of the raised platform has been great for storing boxes of viynl records, totes of clothes, etc. It’s a very solid purchase.

This frame may be one of the best package items i purchased. We recently visited our daughter in Florida, and she had just bought this frame. When we got back home, we asked where she got it, and used her link to order from here.It came in 2 days. It’s fairly heavy, and because of the way a few pieces are hinged, most people would do well to have someone assist on those pieces to prevent having a finger pinched at this hinge point.I’m very handy, and have no problem assembling, but I will say there is next to nothing in text description on instructions. Its about 95% drawings. Also, get an idea of what part is what. I have posted pictures, and you’ll see that the screw hardware is nicely packaged but each part does not have what part is what. The instructions will tell you something like to assemble parts A1 and A2 with screw G (remember, this is just pictures, refer to pic i put of the screw packs and instructions). I got past this by counting how many screws I would need for each part, and then I knew which to use. One screw there is 8 and another 12.The other thing to watch for is make sure you have the 2 outside rails pointing inward or you will be taking them off and rotating. The final thing to watch for is the rails that you install last; there are 4 they call part F. These have holes on both ends to be held by a nut & bolt. The others are held by friction. You may need a small hammer to tap them in place. Some i could push, but others I had to tap. If you have a rubber mallet, great, if not, cover the rail with an old towel and tap with your hammer. The towel will help prevent damaging the part or paint. The one pic shows the numbers on the boxes the parts come in. The instructions will give a single alphabet letter, but the boxes are not labeled with these letters, just a long combination of numbers and letters. The company would do well to labeled the boxes and fasteners better. In conclusion; I give this frame a 5 star 10/10 rating. At 66 years old, it took me 35 minutes solo to unbox, sort, and assemble, including putting mattress on.This frame is high. You will not be able to use a box spring. I may have to order a new dust ruffle. My current one laid over the box spring but due to the design of this, it pulls the ruffle up so it’s not close to the floor. Maybe an inch higher. If you get one, buy one that goes all around, and is held by an elastic band. The frame is 18″ high, so make sure you get an 18″ dust ruffle.I hope my experience helps. In recap, review and sort your parts, have a helper, don’t get frustrated, think about the direction the parts go, enjoy. Oh yeah, you will end up with a few extra bolts and one nut. They are on the blister pack and its the only part there is only one of.

So far so good. This has been very sturdy and there is a lot of room underneath it. One thing is that with the slates in the middle, they do not go in easy at all, which is probably what makes this bed so sturdy. My husband used a mallet and had to hit each side once or twice to get them to go in all the way otherwise they only went in half way. Once he did that this frame stiffened up and was pretty solid. Absolutely happy with this frame and would definitely recommend. Just for reference this is the queen frame and combined with my husband and I there’s about 420 pounds of weight on it.

I bought this bed in September 2020. I was hoping that it would live up to the good reviews, but being a heavier girl I was cautious. This frame is great! Once it’s up and all the bolts are tightened, it does not move. No shaking, no squeaking, no giving. It’s extremely sturdy. It’s also very tall, so the storage underneath is absolutely amazing. You don’t need to use a box spring but I am just because I have nowhere to put it. It makes for a very tall bed (floor to mattress top is about 3 & 1/2 feet high) but it’s totally worth it. The assembly was easy, took me around 45 minutes. If you’re in the market for a bed frame, this is a winner! 10/10, highly recommend!Edit: January 2021 & this bed is still one of my best Amazon purchases! Still no squeaking, giving, shaking, etc. Super sturdy, tons of underneath storage, just an all around great bed frame. 5 stars, would give more if I could. 10/10 still recommend!

Mind the mess, still trying to unpack. My husband and I just moved into our new house and decided to get a new bed. Our old king bed wasn’t cutting it length wise for my husband, so we got a cali king. We weren’t looking for anything special, so we went with this. It’s a lot higher than our other frame. The other frame was 14 inches and this is 18. Good news, you can fit a lot of stuff under this if you wanted to.It’s really sturdy too. It doesn’t squeak and was easy to put together. That being said, you will need a drill to put this bed together. It comes with a paper that says to make sure to tighten the screws all the way to make sure it’s stable and doesn’t squeak.Bad news, it’s gonna hurt if you fall out. I wouldn’t suggest this frame height for people with small children or clumsy people.Remember to be careful around the corners because it hurts if you clip them with your leg.

I bought a second one after seeing how awesome the first was. SOLID. Easy to assemble, but a cordless drill with bit will make your life much easier! Once assembled, place your mattress up there. Depending on mattress, it may slide a bit. No worries, a no slip fabric (plasticy? It’s a word.) like you use on a futon will keep it in place. I haven’t done that, just a “heads up” in case you have a slippery mattress? LOTS of storage underneath. I have a small house with limited closet space. This thing solved my squeaky bed frame and storage issues in one shot!

Holy smokes this was an excellent purchase. This thing is heavy duty. Doesn’t creak, squeak, wobble-nothing, no matter what. My husband and I weigh about 350lbs. together and the bed frame doesn’t care or let on that this is the case. Storage! Vacuuming! My life is easier with the clearance underneath and while I’m 5’4” and yes my legs dangle while sitting on our bed, I don’t give a hoot when tallying up all the pros with this frame. Buy it.

I bought this frame to replace a fairly new but chunky bed frame. It frees up about 4” all the way around my mattress and I can fit 10 standard 18 gallon totes underneath it. I love this bed so much. You just put the mattress directly on the frame and toss out that box spring. Super easy to put together. The box is very heavy and you’ll need help getting it to where I needs to go but the bed is a breeze to put together. There’s even a spare parts assortment just in case you misplaced a nut or bolt. A strong grip is needed to tighten the bolts to the right tension. I had no problem but I know it not an easy task for most to do 20 times. This bed is very tall when completed and you may need a step up for children or pets. Recommend to anyone that likes minimal design with a large amount of storage. I even have family members replacing their frame for one of these.

We recently purchased a new sized mattress and my budget held me back from purchasing a new headboard and frame, so we opted for this as a solution for now. The frame was easy to put togethers and I love the height. There’s plenty of room under the bed for storage and right now it’s used for all my Christmas wrappings and boxes. I have plenty of pillows on the bed and the bed is sturdy enough that they don’t slide off during the night. I would highly recommend this bed. We used a gel mattress on top with no issues.

As we come up on having this platform for 2 years I figured it was time to write a review. When the description says heavy duty it means heavy duty. (We are not going to get into how or why we know 😉 ) We also went with the 18 inches because we had gotten a Great Pyrenees puppy for Christmas in 2019 who loved sleeping under our bed. I promise you, his 160 pound white fluffy self has zero problem crawling under the bed or getting himself back out. Something I will point out is if you have very small children and decided to accompany a 16 inch mattress on top of this 18 inch platform, you will not get any sleep. I had the task of babysitting my neices so my sister in law could work and her 2ish year old decided my bed and Peppa Pig on the YouTube was what she needed to sleep. I was so worried she was going to roll off the bed any time she moved I woke up. The good news is, the mattress we bought is flush with the platform so if anyone falls off the bed, they won’t catch their back on it.Now to find a headboard to go with it.

I ordered the twin to use with a twin mattress. This bed is easy and quick to assemble, strong as all heck, and is QUIET! Most other slat beds I found were wooden, required hammers and nails, and squeaked to no end with every little movement – this one is the complete opposite! I assembled it by myself in about twenty minutes. The only reason it took that long was because I was singing along to music and dancing! It has so far handled a ten year old jumping on it, and all kinds of rough play. I sleep on it nightly and have zero issues as it is exactly what the description says it is – a great and durable bed that is easy to assemble and priced just right! It does look institutional but the height lets me store SO MUCH under the bed! I have yet to buy an 18 inch bedskirt for it, but I hope to find/buy one soon! It is high – so if you’re short or are buying this for a child, take that into consideration.

This is by far the most sturdy bed frame I’ve ever owned!!! It took me all of 30 minutes to assemble. All the pieces match precisely and it is a well thought out design. I really don’t see how anyone looking for Quality at this price could complain. I decided to downgrade from a Queen Size Bed to Full Size and relocate my bedroom to a smaller room in the house. I then turned my Master Bedroom into a family room. This bed has incredible storage space underneath! If you are looking for a simplistic modular design bed frame with extra strong support…this is it!!! Exceeded my expectation and I feel it was a smart choice…it should last for years to come!!!

The storage capacity under this is extremely handy. The assembly is so easy my 9 year old did half of it without looking at the instructions. We are using this in the guest room so we’ll never really know if it’s sturdy and meant for long term because we’re just not cool enough to have many guests (unless I’m in the dog house for a few days at which point I’ll update).Seems like a good value for the cash. It isn’t rickety. It doesn’t wobble.

Had this for ahwile now and so far so good. Plenty of room for storage underneath, super easy to set up, and just enough room to clean underneath without moving it. Had a small shipping issue, but if your not someone that complains alot (I don’t) Amazon is really good at making common sence decisions and they fixed it. Had the bed for around five month’s now, and the fittings are all still tight. Pay close attention when putting in the cross beams at the end, four of them are different and go in the middle. Don’t completely tighten all the screws till the very end and do it in a pattern similar to how you’d do the wheels lugs on a car when you change a tire. Super easy install with a few minor thing’s that you’ll now know ahead of time. I did the whole thing by myself. Good luck

5 stars for easy assembly and storage space underneath! Major 5 stars for sturdiness! I’m a plus size gal, and this thing won’t budge. Totally worth the money. Only problem is it is too tall. I have a box spring and mattress, but have to use a stool to climb on. If I take the box spring off, it’s better but mattress is too firm and even sitting on it my legs don’t touch ground. My dogs can’t jump up on it, but the kids love it. They think it’s fun because it’s so high.

We bought the queen size frame to replace our 30 year old standard frame. The things I loved about the frame is that at 18 inches tall we no longer needed the foundation mattress and we gained extra storage space to store items (luggage, extra blankets- yes it gets cool in Hawaii during the winter and we don’t have indoor heater)s. The frame is solid and firm. I could feel the difference the first night. When you lift the packing box you will feel the weight of the heavy duty metal. The frame is well built. I was repainting the bedroom so we preassembled it in the living room. The frame has a hinge so it was easy to bend the frame and maneuver it into the bedroom. You will need a rubber mallet to assemble. The pieces fit in tight and snug. Unless your are a weight lifter or boxer you will bruise your hand making the pieces fit. The kit comes with extra screws which I needed. One of the screws had a bad thread.Enjoy and have a Good night sleep.

    Ellie – November 8, 2021

So let me start by saying I am 5 feet tall and I ordered a king size frame. The box weighed about 50 lbs, just under half my bodyweight. I was able to carry this up three flights of stairs and assemble it alone in 95⁰ indoor heat without assistance. The whole process, including taking apart my old bed, took about an hour. The box was well packed, everything was very well contained. I expected the instructions to be in with the hardware, but they were in one of the many internal boxes.Putting things together is very straightforward. The instructions are primarily pictographs, with a chart that labels which hardware is which. Hardware came pre sorted with all the tools you’ll need, big plus all around.I’ve noticed some people expressing concerns about the support slats and having problems with plastic ends. The ends of all of the horizontal bars on the model I received were tipped with durable rubber to ensure they stay put. Getting them in was honestly the hardest part, expect to use your chest compression skills if you’ve ever done CPR. They require a lot of solid downward pressure right on the ends. You’ll feel them gradually click in. Very sturdy. Now, I can’t speak to how it stands up to adult shenanigans or multiple people, but I will say I love rolling around in bed and the only sounds I’ve had have been from the mattress. It’s a traditional pillow top spring kinda deal, adding a foam topper had pretty much eliminated that problem. YMMV.The biggest draw for me was storage. Like a lot of other young people I found myself unexpectedly moving an apartment load of stuff home this spring, and I found myself living in a sea of boxes (and two twin beds) in my childhood bedroom. I’m probably an outlier, but I love a really tall bed. Like, gotta get a good workout to climb up kinda tall. Like, absolutely using a step stool in my last bed kinda tall. This is not that. The clearance is enough to fit a single layer of tall clear storage bins, the kind you’d find in the storage aisle of target. It is not high enough to fit a large suitcase on its side, which was something I was really hoping for. That’s on me for not measuring I suppose.I feel like I could put this bed on risers easily, but keep in mind if you do you’ll need nine total. Eight around the edges, one in the middle.I would like to stress this bed has abundant storage for most normal situations in which your kitchen things can live in your kitchen, I’m absolutely shooting for the moon.Another structural bonus, all the screws and bolts finish on the inside of the frame. No accidentally impailing your shin on the end of a screw while you’re trying to make the bed.For the price I really feel like you won’t find better. Absolutely go for it. I’ve been over the moon for days now.

Had this product going on 3 years and it’s perfect. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews, but I’m 6’8” and 400lbs and all the welding are in place. Nothing has broken and I use this frame as normal. I’ve even taken it apart and moved it and put it back together. I have a double pillow top mattress with no box spring so I even do a small jump to sit down, so there’s some additional force. But overall, great product.

This bedframe is very tall. It’s honestly taller than I would like, but it’s exactly as tall as the description said it would be (18 inches) so that’s honestly on me. Assembly was pretty easy, but some of the… ribs? (I feel like the sticks lining the middle should be called ribs). Some of the ribs wouldn’t easily fit in, so I had to use a rubber mallet to get them in, which was no big deal to me but might be a big deal for you depending on how easily you can access a rubber mallet (or a deadblow hammer or some other type of soft-faced hammer). Anyway, my main point is that this is a very tall bedframe, so you should probably grab a yardstick and actually look at how tall 18 inches (+ the height of the mattress) is actually gonna be. That is all.

I have assembled hundreds of furniture items but this had to be the easiest ever! Almost instant gratification (about15 min). One thing I believe is important to note. When assembling you will see that each slat has a rubber insert at each end. When I inserted the first slat into the bed frame it seemed like it required just a bit more force (I am always cautious) than it should so I removed it only found that one of the rubber ends came off as it was tightly in the bracket. I then dislodged the rubber piece from the frame. This led me to look to the instructions – the picture of the slat did not detail the rubber end so I thought perhaps those were intended to protect you from sharp ends but not intended to be left on. So I tried one without them and it was way too loose. I then continued assembling WITH the rubber ends. Clearly they are intended to provide a snug fit and prevent noise that could be caused by metal rubbing. Per the instructions I tightened all screws (only 12) really tight. This bed frame feels completely solid! No racking or squeaking. Regarding the ‘lip’ to retain your mattress, I am not so sure that it is entirely necessary. My mattress is old and misshapen so doesn’t have a square edge to be caught by lip however it doesn’t move around. Before I placed all of the slats (for ease) I filled the storage area underneath. It provides an amazing amount of storage space. Originally I was going to use it with standard under bed storage containers but when I realized that I could actually store all of my, impossible to hide, large format framed artwork under it, with room to spare, I was thrilled — hadn’t even thought of that. Really pleased with this item.

Ok, it’s my policy to own a product for a while before coming to any conclusions about its worth, and it’s now been 4 months since we put this together with the custom headboard I built for it.My rating is 5 stars because the only negative thing I could say about the product was that the Allen wrench included with the set seemed to be made of a softer alloy than the bolts, and it deformed a bit from the amount of torque I put on the bolt heads when tightening. Cheap, recyclable Allen wrench, so no big loss there. We bought this frame over another brand in part because of the positive reviews here, and the simplicity of its design. The height of the bed was our (1)primary objective, followed by (2)durability and (3) design considerations. On these 3 points, our expectations were all very well met.1: The height is as stated, and we can actually slide totes under the bed with ease. The arrangement of supports under the bed do not interfere with sliding things underneath at all. MASSIVE storage space. Love that.2: The durability that others spoke of is deserved. I did see some reviews with negative views on this, but our experience matches those of the other positive reviews, and my spouse and myself combined weigh almost 500 lb. There have been ZERO squeaks, creaks or rattles from the frame, even when…ahem…’actively’ doing things that one would think would cause noise. As such, the only noise comes from the thumping from the headboard, but never the frame.3: Design – YMMV, there, since everyone’s aesthetic and needs are different. We wanted squared-off legs and rails so that we could attach removable panels to the frame to make it look more like a pedestal bed, and the other frames we looked at had rounded and shaped legs that would have complicated such an addition. This frame was perfect for that. Oh, and it is surprisingly lightweight! Its strength comes in part from its compression. Some folks complained about the width of the gaps in the rails on theirs, so I took some pegboard sheets and zip-tied them in small panels to the rails for additional support while still allowing air to circulate under the mattress. No problems.Overall: 5/5, and I’d buy it again, if I needed it again, but I don’t think I will, as it seems to be built for a lifetime.

I just got this bed frame and I’m giving it 5 stars because it came on time and complete. Nothing missing. It was super easy to put together. I put it together in a little under an hour and a half by myself. It would’ve prob been faster if I had more room to work with but I had to be going into a different room for the parts. It’s so easy to put together I almost did it without looking at the instructions but I wanted to make sure I was doing it right because I want this to last. Everything was in good shape and very minor blemishes here and there except for one screw that wouldn’t screw in all the way from the middle beam that runs straight from the foot to the headboard. The screw was threaded weird because I tried it in different places and it would not go in. I finally forced it in but still didn’t go all the way. Hope this doesn’t cause issues along the way. So far so good. Ive layed my pillow top mattress on it without a box spring and it feels the same can’t tell much difference and looks like it’s holding up good. Feels very sturdy which I really like because I’m a big boy. 5’11” weight over 300 pounds. Hope this finally works out for me. Real test will be when I try it out with my girlfriend lol I’ll post again if anything happens.

I love this bed frame!!!Recently I decided to replace my 8 drawer loft captains bed that was 200 lbs and was literally built in my room. This new Frame assembled easy enough. I recommend you study the pictures, look at the final picture and you will agree it takes no extra skills. The screws and assembly wrench with Allen wrench were neatly vacuum packed on a card. The box was a little over 50 lbs and packed perfect: nothing was scratched or dented. What I loved most is the storage!!!!! I was able to place 8 clear sterlite 56 qt containers under the bed and there was still room. This made so much extra space in my small bedroom. The only downside is, I will have to purchase a head board eventually to stop my pillows from jumping off the head of the bed. Great product!

I have had this bedframe for over a year and I have to say it has been an amazing Amazon purchase. The added storage underneath is exceptional and it was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear but some of the pieces are a little harder to wedge together which I did see and some other reviews. The only caveat to this bedframe is it extends just so outside of the mattress so it takes up a little more space, especially if you have your bed in a corner. This does create a space in between the mattress and the wall, which isn’t terrible but if you are dealing with a smaller space is something you might want to consider. I have a body pillow that sinks into the spot against the wall most nights. Still a great frame love the purchase and the space but best suited for a mattress placed in the middle of the room.

This bed frame is honestly great! There’s so many options to buy from so it took me awhile to decide but I’m happy I went with this one. It is very easy to assemble on your own and it goes by even quicker if you have one more person helping out. I received all the pieces in perfect condition, no missing parts, and the instructions were easy to follow (I can barely put a hot wheels track together).I added felt pads on the bottom for easy moving around and so that it won’t scratch my floors, the leftover pads I decided to put them between a couple screws when assembling to minimize squeaking. This step is totally not necessary. I was really concerned about the noise it would make. In my house you can hear EVERYTHING and when my boyfriend and I want to do a little sumtn sumtn we’re always paranoid if anyone can hear us.The verdict with this bed, there is absolutely no squeaking. The only noise we get is from the frame hitting against the wall. So maybe just push your bed away from it if you can.The frame itself is beautiful and it looks great in my room! There’s plenty of space underneath for storage. The ONLY downside I have is that the frame is kind of too big for my mattress? I selected the queen for my queen mattress but there’s still some space?? Just something to think about. Idk if everyone has that problem and I first I found it kind of annoying but I don’t notice it anymore.

Hooked this sideways to a king headboard and now we have a sturdy Daybed in our small home office. The Center brace is fantastic, keeps everything stable so that two people can sit on it as we intended. The height is fantastic for us as we didn’t want the mattress too close to the floor, plus we are storing a fold up mattress underneath. Now we can sleep two comfortably w/out the couch. People have mentioned stubbed toes, my husband has already had two but no big deal as we just ordered black foam wraps called toe bumpers. If you were wondering we added a 4 inch box spring and a 12 inch mattress.

If you buy this bed frame and it squeaks, tighten the bolts in that area. It easily resolved the problem. The bed frame can easily handle myself, my wife, and our two 100 pound dogs getting on and off it. My wife and I regularly had specific kinds on exercise sessions on our bed as well. Other than a light squeak that resolved with tightening the bolts, we have had no problems found for months.I’ll update this if it ever fails, but I’m not expecting that.

Mine arrived in great shape, no dents, bends, badly welded areas, etc. It was easy to assemble, and the slats snapped really snugly into place and gave me a lot of peace of mind that it would hold up with use. Easily fit a king size mattress. When comparing the online dimensions of my mattress and this bed frame, it SAYS that the bed frame is a half inch smaller all around so it’ll be a snug fit for the mattress, but that’s not the case for mine. The head and foot of the bed fit snugly, but the sides have about a spare inch of wiggle room.

Best purchase as an adult ever. 10 year old me would be proud at the amount of stuff I can fit under my bed lol I move a lot so sometimes I have to store more stuff than other times. And now I just put it under my bed. 8 storage totes, a rug, a piano, and a set of plastic drawers. With some room for random shoes. Dream come true. Was skeptical but it’s really holding up. No creaking, bending, squeaking or anything. This is solid and sturdy. Assembled in 10 minutes because I forgot to move my mattress before hand and had some maneuvering to do.

I had been looking for a bed frame for a few months because my husband and I needed a definite upgrade from our old bed. I will start off by saying that for the price it’s so worth it and more! I absolutely love the frame, at first glance online I was skeptical and with reading some of the reviews, I hesitated but I’m so glad I went for it. I have a 10 1/2 memory foam king mattress on top of it and boy it’s a dream. The package arrived on time, and it was a bit heavy but I got it in the house fairly easily by myself. Everything you need is right there in the box, though I had to get a hammer to push down a few of the slats. My only complaint so far were the parts didn’t have letters on them so you don’t know what’s really what if you aren’t paying attention. Instructions are mostly all pictures but very easy to understand. Took about half an hour to put together.Once I was done I laid the mattress on top and boom it was finished , and boy it sits tall which is a huge plus! I haven’t slept on it yet but I did roll around and there was no squeaks, or wobbles. Very sturdy! So hands down I will definitely recommend it! Take a chance cause you never know!

I’m so excited about the sturdiness and support this bed frame provides – we got rid of the basic black bed frame and box springs, so we use this with a California King pillow top mattress. This bed frame has given life back to my pillow top mattress! After years of putting up with divots and sink spots, I ask myself why I didn’t get this frame earlier. My boyfriend and I put the bed frame together – it was pretty simple but best to have two people. He also likes to jump and bounce on the bed, to which I tell him to be gentle to the new frame but it survives every time without a doubt! I’m looking forward to the additional storage space under the bed but the dog already thinks it’s his new fort and uses it for toy storage. Don’t delay, get this bed frame today!

Extremely easy to assemble, barely needed directions. Needs a few pairs of hands to hold sections together while screwing sections together however still very easy. Certain bars needed a mallet to push it down into place. Hopefully an indication the fit is snug and will last a long time. However I’m concerned about weight capacity. It does seem very sturdy but I’m just worried about long term and how long

My husband and i are large people. We purchased this in a full size basically in a pinch when our bed broke. For the price it is amazing. I love how high off the ground it is! Leaving a lot of room for storage abd the dog loves to lay under there. The durability and how quiet it was amazed me. We liked it so much when we . went to upgrade to a king size we got this same bed. And we love it. The only issue we had with our full size is that if you dont have a really sturdy or thick mattress you can feel the bars or slide your knee in between them you kneel on it. But laying down we didnt feel any of the bars.

So being that I have prime, it was delivered in 2 days even though the email told me it would take 3. Very happy about that. After sorting the pieces and ensuring I had all the contents….it took me 51 minutes to complete assembly, not bad at all. So far it seems super sturdy. No squeaking or moving while getting on, off or bumping into it. I made sure to tighten every bolt in between each of the initial 4/5 steps to make sure that messing with one part didn’t loosen another before completing it. I think this helped a lot. As of now I have slept on it 3 nights and in love. I will day however even though it says 18in high….whatever you slide under the bed has to be about 14in or so. That was a little disappointing.

I was SO excited about this frame. I loved it when I first started putting it together. But as I started putting the slats in, I realized they didn’t fit snugly, no matter how tightly the rest of the bed was put together. They don’t fit end to end, there’s a ton of wiggle room. Yes, they have rubber ends, but the bars slip out of them. There are 4 bars with “hook” ends, and they DO NOT STAY HOOKED.The bed is a nice idea, but poorly designed. I would not trust it. I am one single person sleeping on the bed, I’m nowhere NEAR even HALF the maximum weight, and I roll over in the middle of the night and the bars slide out and I fall to the ground. Having had multiple back/spine surgeries, that’s really not okay, and not a chance I could continue taking. I got up and took the bed apart, put my mattress back on the floor, and packed it up to be returned to Amazon.Really disappointing. Now I have to wait a week and a half to get another frame ):

This is my 7 month review:Started squeaking at about 3 months and the anti slip feet did not really prevent the frame from moving. The pads are fairly cheap standard anti slip feet pads. Everything is tightened and secured it just eventually started squeaking. At 7 months the middle support bar broke and is now propped up while we are contacting warranty. The welds look weak and and they could have doubled upped on the middle support bar or just used a thicker bar and/or better welds. I will update this review depending on how the warranty is handled.UPDATE:Olee warranty has not responded to anything I have sent them. I have contacted both the contact details in the warranty documents and the contact details on the website. No one has answered me for a few weeks and I had to have amazon resolve the warranty. I would not recommend buying from this company and If you already did I hope you product holds up because these “10 year” and “5 year” warranties mean nothing if the company won’t even respond.

This bed frame was extremely easy to put together. My husband and I assembled it, but it is easy enough for one person. We laid out the framework according to the picture and then started securing the bolts. Everything lined up nicely and all of the parts were in great condition. I have our pillow top mattress on it and the height is perfect for us. The bed is not noisy. It appears to be extremely sturdy. I have wood floors so the bed frame does slide when bumped, so I plan on buying some non slip pieces for the bottom. I will come back and update in a few months if anything changes, but for now I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Was not hard to put together, but the provided tools bent on the last bolt. Did not stop the assembly process though.Pay attention the the header and footer frame components during assembly, only header had bolt holes to attach a headboard. You can just use a power drill and make your own foot board holes, if needed. It is pretty heavy, so try to assemble as close as possible to where it will end up.Only minor quibble is the Avocado Green King mattress is just short enough that 3-4″ of the foot end of the mattress is not supported, so you sag if you sit there. I think a 12″ piece of plywood should fix that. No big deal.Other:16.25″ clearance to put stuff under the bed. Nice!No squeaking or other noises, really solid.Price is right. Very pleased.

This is by far the best bedframe I’ve ever used. Easy to assemble, good looking, sturdy, and tall enough for me. The instruction manual that came with it was basic but effective. The tools were likewise. The finish on the unit is pretty clean, and it is not flimsy tube like others I’ve tried. This thing is like steel square tube I would use to build trailers and stuff with. I’m impressed with the fit of everything as it assembled, no big offsets or warps. There is plenty of support for my spring coil mattress without a frame cover. This is a great buy, even though it costs a little more, it’s better value for money by far than the cheaper ones.

Great frame. Heavy duty pieces, solid construction, went together easily, in 15 minutes by myself, and I’m a 5’1″ woman. I bought this frame 3 months ago because my roommate got one last year, and neither she nor I have had any of the issues others reported. The “slats” all have plastic caps on the ends, and are close enough together that I don’t need any additional support under my mattress – I cannot feel them through the mattress. The box it comes in is HEAVY, so you might need some help moving it, unless you’re like me and just rip open the box and carry the pieces in multiple trips to wherever they need to go.The frame is sturdy and absolutely silent. There’s a slight drop between the edge of the frame and the interior, so the mattress fits securely in the frame and doesn’t slide around. I did add foam pool noodles around the middle side legs and the legs at the foot, so i wouldn’t hurt myself when I kick them (and it’s definitely WHEN, not IF. lol), though after the first few days, I learned where they are and naturally avoid them now. This frame really has 18″ of clearance underneath, leaving plenty of room for storage bins. The only downside is if your mattress is more than 10″ thick, you might need a step ladder to climb in!Great frame, definitely recommed it. I love it!

If anyone ever needs a frame I am recommending this one.We use our bed frame, box spring and mattress which make the bed higher off the ground but we are okay with that night without the box spring it is still a wonderful height .

This frame was fairly easy to put together for me, a woman in 50’s. I give it 5 stars because the end result does exactly as I’d hoped. Feels solid and sturdy and I get the impression it will remain that way for a long time. I also like that the metal has that coating on it and that there are tons of bar supports. BUT the round corners on the mattress allows the squared-off frame corners to protrude. My bed is in a tight space which makes it easy to scrape my leg on those metal corners. I need to get furniture pad/guards. Other than that, the frame is super well constructed and reliable. Oh, I did have a challenge installing the bar supports because about 1/3 of the slots were too tight, so I placed each bar in the slots as best as possible and the ones that were tough to push down, I laid cardboard over and tapped them down. But this still doesn’t make this frame less than 5 stars for me. More like a 4.75.

I’ve had this queen size bed for almost two years now, in my room (not a guest room), where it is used every night. It also survived a cross-country move. I found it not-difficult to put together, and I’m not at all mechanically inclined. I use a Sleep Number mattress on it, with an extra slat-thing to ensure the mattress doesn’t squeeze through the bars. I really like the height, finding it easy to get in and out of – a short person might like it less so. I don’t store anything under it. I found an 18” bed skirt which looks good. Have had no issues with squeaks. I found a nice head board to go with it. It’s a great bed!

I upgraded my bed to a king size memory mattress. The mattress and box spring plus the frame sits at almost 4 feet off the ground! Now if your not to worried about climbing a mount to get into your bed, lol. Then this is well worth the buy of this king frame. It’s extremely solid. No squeaks , or rattling at all. Planting of clearance to store stuff under the bed. Bad part is you would want a long enough skirt to hide anything showing. The set up is very easy to do. Takes no more then maybe 45 minutes to do.

We bought a cal king purple mattress and then bought a “cute” basic $200 wooden frame from a competitor that is way fair. We didn’t realize how heavy the mattress was plus two adults. The frame fell apart after less than 2 years. We bought this frame based on reviews and price and holy cow! It doesn’t creak, it’s definitely not going to break. Best money spent. Plus it’s ready for a headboard with dedicated screw slots.

Outstanding quality!! Good solid hesvy metal…not the cheap bendable stuff!! Extremely easy to put together! No extra tools necessary! Took less than 5 minutes!! And I am in my upper 50’s (woman!). Sturdy, and space underneath is a Godsend!! Sturdy, stable, no squeaks and it is black. What’s not to like?? Don’t hesitate!! Get this one!! It is so heavy duty? It doesn’t have those “corner braces” like some do which makes it harder to get totes past those. This is a great frame! I would buy it again and I don’t mince words….good or bad!!

This mattress foundation was delivered quickly with no visible damage or defects, all parts, and even a few spares. This was very easy to assemble except for the rungs or slats that fit in very snug. This is a GOOD thing as far as I am concerned and adds to the stability of the foundation! At 108lbs, I had to make do with a heavy hammer and a rubber-soled slipper to whack those pieces into place without damage to the finish. That was partly my fault because I couldn’t find my mallet. My queen mattress fits perfectly and sits so nice and high. I love the amount of space I am able to clear up by placing trunks and crates under the bed!My only issue is with the lack of advice in the instructions and that hilarious video that doesn’t at all show the reality of how those slats got where they belong. I didn’t simply place them in there, (still, I am pleased that it is a nice and snug fit). A “heads up” would have been helpful. Other than that, the instructions were pretty straight forward. I will not remove a star for that because it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out a solution.

It took my husband about 45 minutes to assemble, but he said it was “easy enough”, it just took time. Together, we put box spring and mattress on it. DON’T DO THAT! It’s WAY too high then. We took the box spring off, just the mattress and it’s a great height, and more importantly, it feels great! You really DON’T need a box spring with this frame. If you DO use your box spring with this frame, buy steps to get up and pads for the floor when you fall. My husband is 5’9″ and with mattress and box spring on the frame, it came up to his belly button.

I never write reviews, but I am so impressed with this bed frame! I wanted a metal platform bed frame, but I also wanted to be able to fit my storage containers under it, AND I didn’t want a bed frame on wheels, which is what I had before. I hated that the bed would move around easily. I had read reviews on this product that it broke often, and I was worried. Let me assure you, this bed frame is 100% sturdy. I put it together by myself (a woman) and with only the tools they provided me. I have been using it for about 2 months now, and it does not move, it does not squeak, and it is the perfect height.I will say, the same time that I ordered this bed frame (queen), I also ordered a new mattress. The mattress was thicker then I expected. So the mattress combined with the height of the bed frame is about 1-2 inches taller then I would have liked. It wasn’t enough for me to get a shorter bed frame, but I did want to point that out. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Most “baked”/headboardless bedframes are annoying. They’re usually on wheels and the edges are protruding metal and if walk into them, you’re in for a world of pain. Not so with this bed. The edges are not something you fear walking into as they’re all smooth. This was also quick and easy to assemble. When i saw all the pieces, I thought it was going to take a while but it didn’t. And whenever I move, I can quickly take it apart again and save on a moving truck. The only thing I don’t like is how high it is. Whenever I get in bed, I feel like I’m crawling up a hill, and my dog loves crawling under. I don’t want to be low to the ground, but I don’t want to be so high either. I feel like Goldilocks. Though it could be that my mattress is just high.In the end, a good bed for the price. Glad I bought it.

Was easy to assemble took my husband and I maybe 1 hr. Or so just to realize the measurements of the frame are way off. I got a new California mattress and this California frame was bigger than mentioned. Very unsafe corners,And to top it off with just a week of being used it began squeaking 😩…. I was planning to keep it and make the best of it was going to buy silicone pads for the corners and call it a day….but I can’t not deal with a squeaking bed not to mentioned the unsafe corners especially if you have kids in your home. I do not recommend this frame, invest you $ on a better sturdy one just like I’m going to it’s not worth the hassle of assembling and having to ship it back. Not worth it !

I bought this for use in a guest bedroom after moving to a larger house. I wanted something that was function but did not cost too much, because it would eventually be replaced with a more formal bedroom suite in the future. This bed frame exceeded my expectations. It was very easy to put together. I was able to put together the king frame by myself in about 10 minutes. The frame is VERY STURDY. I have zero doubt that the max weight numbers provided by the manufacturer are accurate, and I suspect probably a bit light based on how sturdy this bed frame feels. If you need a fairly cost efficient well made bed frame, I would highly recommend this product.

I am so happy I found this!!! I wanted a tall bedframe for awhile but was afraid of the prices I was seeing for a king. This was the perfect price. Got it and it’s so sturdy and well made. My husband and I are about 45-# combined and have just a memory foam mattress on top of it with no problems. No sinking either. I have hip issues so this frame being taller has really helped with ease of getting in and out of bed. I’ve read many saying they put a piece of ply wood or other thin flat material between the frame and their mattress and I believe that’s fine if you use a standard mattress but I wouldn’t recommend that for a memory foam one. They need to breathe, limiting it to breathe by putting something flat underneath it could cause mold. Please keep that in mind when purchasing. I cannot say there would be no sinking with more weight but with us it’s been just fine.

I put together with my wife in about 45 minutes and we are not particularly handy. The quality assurance for this company is fantastic. My wife is in supply chain and she was very impressed. Everything was what was needed for job and they even provided extra bolt. Construction appears to be of high quality. The steel slats are strong and there are plenty of them. We got rid of our box spring right away and laid the mattress directly on top of the frame and noticed an enormous difference in support. I am 6’2″ and 280 pounds and she is about 200 pounds and we only noticed durability. The color is matte black and is very modern looking. Instructions are clear and concise. The bed has very straight edges and lines so you should be careful if you’re clumsy, because steel does not have a lot of give.ConsWe did notice some minor noise when bouncing around on the bed. There is no squeeking but there is a noticeable sound, definitely more than a conventional box spring set up. Still, not annoying for us and is only present during bouncing. Lastly, the lip of the steel does not provide that much elevation for the mattress, meaning that very active people may find the bed slipping out of the square. That being said you could remedy this by placing some anti-slip material on top of the slats.OverallI would highly recommend this setup but I will do a followup update to this review in the coming months. For right now, I am extremely impressed.

I ordered the twin. When I unpacked the box all the pieces where in good shape with no scratches. I assembled the bed in a half hour despite using a cane and walker. They recommend using a power driver for the screws, I used a ratcheting tee handle bit driver instead. A allen wrench is included with the screws. I use a Select Comfort/Sleep Number mattress and haven’t had any problems using it on this frame. After laying in it for the first time it creaked until the cross bars settled into place. Now it’s dead silent when I lay on it and doesn’t bang into the wall while I roll around on it at night. The mattress is well supported, I even had turn down the air pressure to soften up the mattress a bit. Update: after six months the bed is still sound, no signs of weak joints, the finish has not flaked off. After a month the bed squeaked a few times but that stopped and it is still silent. My I use a Select Comfort/Sleep Number mattress shows no sign of breaking down due to the spaces between the slats.

I managed to put this bed together in less than 45 minutes by myself. The only reason it took me that long was because I kept having to dodge my cat who was curious about what I was doing. The instructions that come with the bed are very clear and easy to follow. In case you’re wondering, it also comes with its own little tools to help you along, AND one extra piece of every washer, screw, and bolt needed just in case you fumble. The only thing I didn’t like was how easy it was for the allen wrench/hex key to strip when using. But if you’re anything like me, you probably have an extra one in your junk drawer you can fall back on.

I bought this over a year ago and have since moved with it. It disassembled and was easy to reassemble the second time even without any instructions. Very sturdy, doesn’t squeak and quiet even when bouncing up and down on it for 30min to 1 hr at a time. Also since the bed is height and the slats are much closer together than slats on a box frame, this bed not only requires no box frame but provides more support for the mattress than a box frame would. No complaints; would buy again in a heartbeat. By far the favorite bed I’ve had so far.Pro tip: Instead of attaching a headboard, I placed felt furniture strips on the head side to protect my baseboard and slid it all the way up to the wall. I bought extra pillows to place behind me so I can read in bed and protect the wall from oil on my skin / hair. I like the minimalist look of this better than a headboard, though I’m sure if you want that look mounting a headboard to the wall would provide the same squeak-free experience.

This is super strong and assembles quickly. It is exactly as described. I bought this for a new bed in the guest room but I am thinking of swapping out the standard box spring/base on my primary bed just to have more space under it for storage. I am eager to see if I need more support (such as a Masonite board) for my memory foam mattress.

I have one of these in 3 different sizes bc I like them so much! Very very sturdy, high enough you can store things under the bed if desired, but not so high my somewhat short frame has trouble getting into bed. So far I’ve had the queen-sized one the longest and it’s as good as the day I put it together – at least 7 yrs ago.

This is the most sturdy bed frame I have ever owned! It’s incredible to have a bed frame that doesn’t squeak or move in the slightest but when you get on it. We use it with an Amazon memory foam mattress and it’s the perfect combination. It looks a little overwhelming when you open the box, but it’s easy to assemble. It is a tight fit for the slats, but we just stood on them to pop them in. This also gives you a huge area under the bed for storage. Without a bed skirt it looks super tall, but once you put a skirt on it it looks just like a normal box spring bed.

This bed frame is wonderful. It is so easy to put together. They give you the 2 tools to do the job. There are hardly any screws you need to attach to it and you’re done. I was worried I would need help to get it put together. The pictures and directions are excellent. There are spaces to attach a headboard if you want to. I purchased the 18” and it’s not too high and you can fit so many large containers under the bed when you need extra storage. I would only buy this brand ever again. I cannot day enough good things about it. I would only buy the 18” for the fact of higher storage use.If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

We will be buying another one for our son’s bed next.

It’s a sturdy, basic, black metal platform for a mattress. I put it together with no problems (I’m a female and a senior who is not particularly handy with tools). An extra pair of hands would have been helpful, but not necessary. All the parts were in the box. The parts fit together well. This base is 18″ tall and the perfect height for a daybed. My twin mattress fit fine with maybe an inch to spare. I’ve already taken some very comfortable naps on this daybed. No complaints from me.

Super easy to put together and very sturdy. Works great for my memory foam mattress. Only negative thing is if you hit your leg on the bottom corners or your foot on the leg posts. That’s an ouch. Pipe insulation takes care of the legs and the bed skirt hides it. The good far outweighs the bad. I would definitely buy again and probably will very soon.

We just got rid of a California king bed waterbed frame. There was lots of drawers under it which I missed. We got the 18″ frame. LOVE IT. I read other reviews about being short parts or the frame squeaking. We had neither problem. Our king mattress fits snuggly in without moving due to that little raised part of the frame. Other frames do not have that. I have ample storage containers underneath hidden by a bed skirt. Yes I have to get a running start to get on top of the bed 😆 due to the height lol, but we LOVE it.

My favorite budget bed frame. Love that there is extra room underneath. I have two bunnies that free roam in my room and they like to hide under my bed. I like that its roomie enough for me to crawl under to get them if I absolutely need to, but low enough for me to hop into bed without climbing. I previously had a lofted twin bed frame that would squeak whenever I would move. I love that this one does squeak AT ALL. I like to toss and turn a lot when I try to sleep so it’s perfect for me:)I just wished they made it a bit taller to have more room for my bunnies but 18 in was the highest I could find that wasn’t a loft bed.

My wife and I put it together in about an hour ( I am 81 she is 75) including breaks. assembly was simple and instructions were clear. I have two nitpicks. first, the nuts and bolts were lettered and numbered on the instructions but not on the card where they were very neatly mounted. Second, they provided extras (very thoughtful) but no notice they were extras and it is a bit disconcerting to complete a project and have leftover parts. Packing was excellent with each component group in a separate box so we did not have to lug a heavy box inside the house. Very sturdy when assembled and the video is accurate. Our primary motivation to buy this was under-bed storage. We put 1/4 rubber/felt floor protectors under each leg and the 40-gallon tough box slides in like it was custom made for it. Solves our storage requirements for summer winter items like coats and blankets etc.

The shipping box came beaten up so my frame had minor scratches on 3 of the rods; though it wasn’t a big deal.I do not recommend having a box frame with this. I’m 5’3″ and needed to climb to get on my bed with the box frame – though if you are super duper tall, sure.Lots of storage space underneath the frame. It was super easy to put together and probably took me about 30 minutes by myself to do. I was able to put close to 20-25 bins of large size and some bags underneath of it also. There were a couple though that I did have to finagle past the outer frame to get under because they were a little to tall but aside from that just about ANY bin should go under this so don’t be afraid to buy this because of that. That was my main concern before I bought it lol. But they all fit whew. Lol. Best purchase thus far!!

I absolutely love this frame! so easy to put together…went ahead and duck taped the brackets down just in case…reviewers stated sometimes they come loose so did that so they wouldn’t. I have a tiny house and lots of crap…after put together went to store got some plastic bins and went to town…i got 8 huge bins to fit under my queen frame…4 of the bins filled and now 4 are empty for if i need them…i wish i had seen this years ago…if you have limited space this is the cheapest and easiest way to store and this frame allows you this…mind you…no box…if you put a box it will be hard to get on the bed…if you have dogs that usually jump up…this bed is to high…you need steps for them or they will have future hip issues…even my big dog now just leans up and i have to lift her butt up and lil dog needs complete lifting and putting her back down…all things to keep in mind…so easy to put together! everything arrived timely and all parts intact. This is a very simple frame…don’t forget the bed skirt…i waited to order bed skirt–DON’T–get the 18 inch on amazon…u can’t find them anywhere cheaper or nicer…but mine took forever to get here…you want that when you get the frame so you can put it all together at one time…the skirt hides everything and looks nice…TUB SIZES will vary with bed so i can’t tell you exactly what size because your store may not carry the same dimensions you just have to wait until you get bed and then figure out which tubs your stores carry and what you need to put in them for storage…good luck!

Love this frame!!We purchased the king size. We bought a king sized Helix mattress online and didn’t want to buy a box spring for it. The 18 inch height gives the bed a normal height since we don’t have a box spring. To really give it good support between the slats, I purchased some plywood and had it cut to fit inside the frame. Works absolutely perfect!! It has a ledge inside the top of the frame so the wood fits inside and still has enough ledge for the mattress to not slip around on the top. It was very easy to assemble. Love that it has many metal slats and a good strong center support. My husband and I together weigh about 500 lbs. and it does not budge! It sits on carpet and it has never slid. It makes no squeaking sounds. Super solid! I’m also able to store items under the bed since it’s 18” high. This really was the best purchase ever. And…it was cheaper than any frame I’ve ever purchased in the past. The only negative is that our headboard does not line up with the holes for attaching a headboard. I’m not sure if it’s the bed’s design or our headboard’s design that is the fail. But our headboard sets against the wall no problem and we push the bed up against it. Since the bed does not budge our headboard fits nice and tight with no jiggling. This frame literally makes me love my bed! As I slowly replace other mattresses in my house, I’m going to buy a mattress and this frame for each of them!

A cheap price frequently means a cheap product but that’s not the case hear. This is very sturdy (frame and slats). The design is attractive in a minimalist way. If you’re not into that look get a bed skirt. I got one off Amazon for under $20. Make sure you get it 18″ long, not standard. The height makes creates a lot of storage! The seller had told me that the twin bed frame would support 2,000 pounds and, after seeing it, I believe it. It’s that sturdy. I also like how the front end has holes to attach a headboard if you want.I had originally put both a box springs and memory foam mattress on the frame — but those who said it would make the bed freakishly high were right. So I removed the box springs and have just the memory foam mattress. Very comfortable and I dont need anything else, like a piece of wood, between the frame and the mattress.Best bed frame ever!!

It gets delivered in a fairly small box. All the screws are sealed up in a blister package and all the hardware pieces have one spare included. Generally, it only takes 10-15 minutes to set up. I’ve actually gotten the Queen size version a few years ago for different bed. There were no issues with the Queen size bed frame. The King size bed fame had one issue out of the box. One hole didn’t get drilled during manufacturing on the bed frame and could not be constructed out of the box. The headboard and foot board are each comprised of two separate components bolted together. One headboard side was only drilled on one side and wouldn’t allow a bolt to pass through to attach to the corresponding headboard side. I had to get the drill out and bore a hole through the other side of the post to bolt both pieces together. Not a huge issue because i had a drill available, but it certainly wasn’t expected. That was the only issue with the bed frame. Our dogs prefer to sleep under bed, away from foot traffic. Two full grown labs easily fit under the bed along with stored boxes and all the Christmas and birthday wrapping paper in their respective totes. The 18″ clearance is definitely a bonus for storage … and dogs.We have a memory foam mattress, but cut some 7/16″ plywood to give a little more support. I’m 6’1″ & 280 lbs. Spouse is almost as tall, about half the weight (she won’t say). No issues with weight on the frame, but a bit tall. Even if I take a running start and jump on the bed, it doesn’t shudder or move at all. It’s definitely a solid bed frame.Even though I had to finish the manufacturing of the bed frame, it is solid once build – so no star loss. Would recommend.

So, we just got this today and it was easy to assemble. It suggested having a drill, but it Uses a metric Allen wrench and we didn’t have that drill bit. Someone suggested using furniture sliders, so I got those and it moves around pretty easily. I used a queen size skirt on my extra long full bed and it fits OK. I’m glad I have an extra long bed, because the frame is still slightly longer than my mattress, so it would’ve been way longer than a regular full bed. It’s also a few inches wider than my mattress. It looks like it will have plenty of space for storage underneath, which is the purpose. I think I will be happy with it.

The metal bed frame was very easy to assemble. The instructions were not so clear, but you can figure it out really quick just by looking at the graphics. I love the sleek matte black color. Another great feature about the high bed frame is that it allows me to store large weather containers underneath the bed. Because of the large storage capacity, I was able to free up closet space. One thing I would change or that the seller can include would be corner protectors. Just be a little cautious walking near the corner so you don’t bump your knee/leg into it. Another suggestion would be clearer instructions. Overall, the bed frame has been very sturdy without any squeaks or warping of the metal frame. I would consider purchasing another one but a different size for my guest bedroom.

The frame is sturdy and pretty heavy so it will not slide easily. Assembly was pretty simple and fast. The hardest part of assembly is putting the short bars in the middle. They require a bit of force. I tapped a few into place with a rubber mallet. I like that the edge of the frame is a bit raised so that the mattress stays in place. I also like that the frame has holes on one end just in case you want to install a headboard. The storage space below the bed is perfect for storing bins and I love it because it’s a huge improvement from my last frame.

You have to use some force when putting it together (we had a tiny hammer that didn’t ding it up at all to put the slats in). It’s very sturdy! My favorite part about it is probably the storage capacity, that’s why I went with the 18”. It’s everything you’re hoping for there! I would say my partner and I are pretty careful. When we were in carpeted area we never kicked the edges but for some reason on harder surfaces we’ve hurt our toes a couple times more than before. So, take that for what you will as a warning to foaming it up or putting some sort of protectors there. I’m willing to put up with a stubbed toe every once in a blue moon to not have foam padding, I just personally think it looks tacky lol. Good product, would definitely recommend!

I was hesitant on this one given the low price, however I trusted the review community and am grateful. The construction is sturdy, fit of the bars is just tight enough, and there is no noise. We haven’t attached a headboard, but there is are attachment points for a headboard to be installed.Assembly was easy… maybe 10 minutes at a leisurely pace. The 18” frame has 2” rails, so there is 16” of clearance under the bed.

We were looking for a sturdy bed frame with NO squeaking or noise whatsoever. So far, this is it! We have a select comfort mattress and didn’t want to put it straight on the frame because we heard it may void the warranty. So we placed the flat plastic boards that come with the original select comfort bed frame on the Olee frame first. They fit well with minor modification. (we used a saw on 2 pieces, then taped it back together) Totally worth it!

After figuring out the hard way that it is impossible to get a box spring down my basement stairs, I looked for a frame that did not need a box spring. This frame is great, it is very sturdy. It has plenty of space under it for storage. It was also easy to assemble, my 11 year daughter and I had it together in no time. Great purchase!

Assembly was easy for me. It makes a little noise during the horizontal polka but still good. Durable, still intact only had to tighten screws once since putting it together. I put the mattress directly on the frame and haven’t had any issues. I do have a thicker than average mattress. I love that the mattress sits in the frame so it doesn’t slide around. The frame does slide across the floor easily so had to get casters to protect the flooring. The height is great for storing things. The height is also great if you have knee/back issues in that you are not having to bend more when getting in and out of bed. I’ve had it for a little over 2 months so we shall see the test of time.I do wish that the headboards for this frame were not so bland and limited.

I bought this bed for my son-in-law to use after his surgery. He’s 6’5″ and 300 lbs. He fits on it and it’s sturdy and holds him up with no problem! My granddaughter is using the bed frame now that her dad doesn’t need it. She’s 8 and loves the height of the bed to store her toy bins under the bed and there is plenty of room for her to make a fort to play in too. Great price, fast shipping – would buy again and/or recommend to others.

Very sturdy bed. We inherited a new but cheap and thin king size mattress that we wanted to utilize with a bed topper, so we bought this frame as I did not want to have a bed with box springs. This unit does not make noise even when the kids jump on it, is very sturdy. I have two complains however, the screws are pretty cheap and strip easily, and the legs are wide set, its very likely that toes will get stubbed. For the price, I am very very happy. I don’t know how well I could take it apart and put it back together with the stripped screws, but for now its not going anywhere.

I’m not gonna lie, I was scared of buying this due to some of the reviews. But I had to pull the trigger on this because my old bed frame broke. I am so glad I decided to go with this bed frame. It’s so sturdy. Me and bae collectively weigh close to 600 pounds and this thing doesn’t flinch or make a sound. It was pretty easy to put together and I like that the frame is slightly recessed so that your mattress or box spring fit inside of it instead of on top of it. You don’t have to worry about your mattress sliding around. Now I had a box spring and with this thing my bed is ridiculously tall now. But the storage space underneath is amazing. So many things can go under the bed now including the 80 pound dog when she wants to hide. It did squeak after 2 days of using it, but I discovered that I left a screw a little too loose. When the instructions say to twist until you can’t twist anymore, it means it. When I tightened that screw, the squeak was gone and I haven’t heard a peep from it since. It’s been about 2 months and it’s been great. The downside is that the slots to attach a headboard require some additional screws and an adapter to get the old headboard attached. But things are great. I think if I could’ve done it again, I probably would’ve gone with the 14 inch height instead of the 18 inch. We literally have to CLIMB in and out of bed now. That’s the only drawback. 5 stars though. Well constructed and easy to put together.
